The holiday and absence section are so impressive. We have found the staff and helpline are very informative and helpful. They make some hard jobs easier

My only problem is that when doing rotas they are weekly where as I would need a rota that can go from the 1st to the 31st of the month.

It's a great add on piece of software for my payroll bureauy.

It allows me to provide contracts for my payroll clients at a fraction of the price that a HR professional would charge. It has quite a few customisable options, and means that I can offer added services to my clients and generate extra revenue.

The section about giving notice for absences is worded a bit strangely and sometimes I have to manually edit this with a pdf to Word editor which is a bit annoying. The option to manually edit would be good, or to export in a Word document where I could edit it. Sometimes importing employees doesn't work and it crashes the software. Being able to import companies would also be good.

As our company contracts can be very similar to each others Bright Contract allows us to repeat the same type of contract only changing small parts if needed. The fact that the system alerts us if a new policy might need to be integrated in the handbook is one of the best feature of this software. Bright Contract helps us to stay compliant at all times. Overall a very good software that I would recommend.

The system does not allow to archive former employees but one has to delete the contract from their system if they don't want to have a long list of employees. Sometimes the system needs to be rebooted a couple of time before working correctly i.e. not all contracts appear or the handbook don't show fully. Last thing, if the alert to new policy for the handbook is very appreciated and allows us to stay up to date with compliance, it is not always straight forward in the presentation of the system that there is a update. It would be great also to include an email notification as one does not always to logon onto the system.

I have been very pleased with the price of Bright Contracts and recently needed some further advice and received this promptly which to me is a must when you are dealing with the needs of Employees.

This software is very easy to navigate and gives plenty tips on what to do. I feel that is an essential quality.

So far I have not encountered any major problems.

I love how the employees can book their annual leave using the brightpay app and I can see on the calendar which employees are due off and when.

Sometimes I find the printing of payslips a little limited

Keeping up to date with any employment law changes is easy as all updates are explained and updates.

As a small business owner and one that has to wear many hats in the day to day running of the business this software is invaluable. For a small investment in time once a month it is easy to remain on top of all contract obligations. Support is great and all communication is relevant to our business. I would recommend the product.

Perhaps an electronic acknowledgement of contracts sent to employees feature. This would save printing and follow up of each employee.

I found it easy to use. I can edit it to my own needs. It includes all the up to date legislation for employment. The back up support is very helpful. I found [SENSITIVE CONTENT] easy to contact and her advice was very useful.

I was a little confused at the start between the handbook and the contract. But I soon got the hang of it.

There really is very little, it can be a bit tricky when you are trying to insert some additional company specific information and the format is sometimes misaligned but the content is excellent.

It is very easy to import new employees into this software and get started with their contract in seconds.

If I copy one contract to another similar employee, it would be nice if everything I need to look at to change in the new contract was highlighted. It is too easy to leave other employees start date etc.

Very easy to write and manage contracts for our staff. Latest rules and regulations are automatically implemented which is great, and the additional elements are incredibly useful.

As a seasonal employer, I would like to be able to import a spreadsheet file to import the contract elements. I already import employees from brightpay csv, but importing contract elements would help hugely.

Software is half price when bought together with BrightPay Payroll.

Never again will one have to worry about your contracts being out of date. Software helps make sure your contracts are legal and provide all the necessary jargon to ensure they are fully compliant.

It will take a while to learn how to use the software. There are limited video tutorials, but this okay as customer service is very easily at hand to provide one-to-one advice over the phone.

There isn't really anything to be honest, I use BrightPay as well and love both products.

Bright Contracts is a very straightforward application to use and is easy to configure. It ensures our employee contracts and handbook are compliant with legislation and remain up-to-date.

PDF employee handbook could be presented in a more attractive way with additional customisation of design.

I love the fact that Bright Contracts send you an update when there is a change in legislation - this makes it so easy to update the employee handbook and not be concerned about lapsed compliance. It is also great to use contract templates when you take on new employees.

I would love if this linked to BrightPay Connect, so that the handbook would be updated automatically and you could send employees notifications directly.

Keeping up to date with changes in employment legislation is challenging and this software helps us to achieve this.
