Bullhorn is a cloud-based applicant tracking and customer relationship management solution for small and midsize recruiting and staffing agencies. It offers email integrations, social media integration, reporting tools, mobile recruiting and passive activity tracking, and helps businesses manage contacts, track candidates, post job openings and fill open positions.

Bullhorn for Salesforce integrates with third-party email service providers such as Gmail and Outlook to send, receive and track communications. Users can view information about candidates from their inbox and access resumes, add notes, share details, create new tasks and schedule appointments. Bullhorn also integrates with LinkedIn Recruiter.

Bullhorn for Salesforce offers built-in reporting and analytics capabilities to help users track interactions with candidates. The configurable dashboard allows users to customize layout screens according to their preferences and helps to track business KPIs. Some of the additional features of Bullhorn are workflow management, job posting, mobile accessibility, social recruiting and data storage.

    If you are doing end to end recruitment, Bullhorn is the best applicant tracking system for you! This software is very OC in tracking candidates progress from pre-screen stage to placement. It is very detailed oriented in terms of documentation. You can send sms and emails inside bullhorn. You can manage tearsheets - allows you to sort candidates of the same profile in a group. It stores resumes of candidates and allows you to do sourcing as well plus there is a built in job board that allows you to access careerbuilder and monster.

    Cons

    Could have gone better if you can send sms more than 136 characters.

    * I really like about the Bullhorn Staffing and Recruiting Software is that it is very easy to integrate with Google Mail, really effective applicant tracking feature

    Very easy to work your way around in this program. Has great options for company and candidate profiles, and is completely customizeable.

    Cons

    The pages reload frequently and you lose your work. Sometimes the back office software is down / slowed which hinders the time frame of getting payroll done.

    If your needs are straightforward and budget is not an issue, the Bullhorn is likely to make sense for your company.

    Pros

    Bullhorn is definitely a Grade A system, that's clear. It is reliable, and functionality is robust, as far as candidate funnel and reporting too.

    Cons

    The cons for Bullhorn are that a) it is expensive and b) it is not at all malleable unless you pay for a higher tier. Bullhorn is not the kind of system where you can just go around changing field names and colors and such - you do things their way.

    The fastest and easiest way to source and recruit candidates. Also good for reporting purposes. Tracking recruiter performance weekly, monthly and yearly.

    Recommended applicant tracking system.Since I started recruiting this is my applicant tracking system which helps me organize, remind me of my scheduled interview and the best part is the saved list where I can track my interview, offers and starts.

    Pros

    - it is user friendly
    - the platform is organized, it will keep your candidates on track by using saved list
    - mass email
    - schedule an appointment
    - update candidates profile
    - upload resume and documents
    -source candidates

    Cons

    - some latency while using the platform
    - it will log you out if you are inactive for more than 1 hour

    Nothing nice to say here. The API integrations don't actually work and customer service representatives just want you to sign that contract. Do not have the customers best interest in mind.

    I'm a small business owner and thought this would be the perfect software to support my needs. I was sold on a product that does not do what I was told it would do for me. The customer experience is unprofessional and one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

    I would definately get a demo from Bullhorn before you finally decide on a vendor. These guys have a really good product backed with years of experience.

    Pros

    Bullhorn has been around for while and used by many sound companies which should speak for itself.

    Besides being really good, sound and trusted recruiting tech company they have always continued to improve and build even better technology. They put great effort into providing solutions to complex recruiting problems. Bullhorn manages all recruiting from requisition to hire in a user friendly manner. Some really good features,
    1. Easy Job posting to channels like LinkedIn, job boards, Indeed and social media
    2. Quickly screen and filter irrelevant candidates
    3. great reporting and dashboards

    Cons

    From a features perspective there are not downsides, pricing might be a problem from smaller companies though

    As mentioned above, its good for job posting.

    Pros

    I used this software for posting my jobs online. This helps make my requirements reach to maximum number of people who are online and makes my work easy. Can get some quick responses to the postings we do on Bullhorn.

    Cons

    This would be a great app if this has a feature of filtering the candidates with regards to the job posting. It allows all the candidates that are not relevant to the job to apply for the job.

    It is one of the best CRM I have ever seen in my life. In today’s Business-to-Business (B2B), the communication isn’t limited to 1 on 1 conversation, it is now converted from one team to another team. So we are unable to record all the conversation, that’s why a concept had been aroused in form of Bullhorn so that we are able to record all the important information during conversations. It is very easy to use and is very efficient in its working. Variety of functions can be found here, mainly for searching and sorting information and for reporting data as well. The reason why I said it be one of the best it is just because it offers best customer service in the industry as well as get updates in every month. Here, you can post jobs easily and can set reminders. Lots of customization is also available here.

    Cons

    Even though it is a great software, if it provides more flexibility on a mobile device then it would have been great. Another tremendous problem is that it is very costly i.e. not affordable for everyone even if one wishes. That’s the only thing in which it lags the most!! However, Timeouts in times of active workings is quite cumbersome, so that should also be improved. Moreover, it causes a lot of glitches like will throw you out if parsing or updating of resumes is not done properly. It also has some difficulties and issues regarding tracking multiple branches, reporting due to tracking issues and many more.

    Would reccomed this product due to the simplicity of the CRM system. Has everything you need to be able to track your candidates and clients as a Recruiter.

    Pros

    Great for tracking and keeping a record of your candidates and clients. Also can get an overview display of where you are in relation to your targets on one screen.

    Cons

    Could integrate more matketing and sales tools like HubSpot.

    Also can be effort to drag CVs onto the CRM system.

    Easy to use, great search feature, powerful reporting, integrates well with several multi-posters.

    Cons

    Configuration leaves a bit to be desired; rearranging the field mappings is clunky and more time-consuming than it should be. Logging in is a pain, often you'll have to enter your login details twice to get in unless you're using it in a private-browsing window.

    Easy parsing of cvs to reduce manually entering details
    Some useful drop down menus which you can customise
    Handy side menu tabs to keep track of who you need to contact
    Some good main features and easy enough to navigate
    Helpful videos to teach you how to use basics on Bullhorn

    Cons

    User experience could be streamlined with less unnecessary clicking
    Customer service is poor in Sydney as it's a US based software, prefer JobAdder though they need some improvements also
    Placements should either be marked in a different colour or shown in the notes
    Must be an easier way to find posted ads without clicking into every role
    Just so many areas to streamline
    Tends to slow down so badly around 3pm everyday

    Since it is cloud-based, it can be accessed from any device, at any time. The functions that are built-in are very attractive to users. They have a very interactive customer service. They try to get to the issues of the users in no time. This application helps in keeping a regular track record over your clients. The drag-and-drop option to add fields in the sheet makes the task easier. Though they are quite expensive they show justice to the money being paid.

    Cons

    The option of integrating Bullhorn with other extensions is quite troublesome. Many a time, it confuses the very user. The application may not be very user-friendly, especially for beginners. The availability of too many options that are supposed to be dropped into the sheet could make the tasks quite unappealing.
