CATS is great for our businesses because we have multiple locations that each manage their own hiring. Many have on-going hiring needs for 4-5 different key positions.

The software does not work well with LinkedIn.

This system is super easy to use and doesn't require a lot of training. Very simple easy to use process flow.

We can seamlessly take over each other's work when colleagues are on leave or otherwise busy. The application portals are very easy to use and the workflow is intuitive and useful.

Low cost and intuitive but a good amount of work to make it go on a daily basis.

I would recommend it for anyone that needs a farm and ease of use at a great price.

My only real issue with this system is the lack of reporting. As we got larger, we needed more metrics and reporting capabilities.

CATs does a great job posting jobs to various job boards and makes it easy to customize forms and tracking of both candidates and clients.

I like the new beta version, it is easy and user friendly.

No major upgrades or releases in ovder 2 years, no plans to come out with a new release or upgrade. The dashboard is weak  and their reports are weak, have to use excel spreadsheet behind catsone.

The lack of this feature makes it difficult for us to keep track of all of our placements, which means that we have to use a different system to maintain our historical knowledge.

The capture tool makes it easy to load LinkedIn resumes to the database. The jobs integration to your website is easy to set up.

As mentioned above, my only problem with Pingboard is the limited sorting capabilities.

I love the combination of beautiful product design along with ease of use. It's exactly what you'd want to see in an org chart software and more.

It has a nice user-friendly UI. It is perfect for a large company size.

My overall experience has been great. I find the software efficient and it helps my daily workflow.

The org chart visualization is absolutely great and considering how fast it loads, I love referring back to it all the time. Integration with Google Calendar is great.

It is prevalent that I know this stuff and Pingboard has been great in helping me keep it straight.

I like that I can quickly and easily find other employees in my organization and also view the graphical org chart to see where people fit into the hierarchy of the business.

Couldn't find a way to see the remaining vacation days. No custom/additional status for out of office.

My overall experience has been great, the search feature has great ease of use and I love the way it maps the company.

Both the desktop and app versions work amazingly well. I especially like the guess the name game on the app -- such a novel and fun idea.

The worst part I think is how the overall org chart focuses in and out. That can be difficult to navigate.

The few times that I've contacted their support team, the responses have been quick and effective.

I love the integration with Slack, too. It's also nice to see the org chart in case you need to see how someone fits into the company.

Inexpensive and easy to get started the first few times of trial.

Layout is customer friendly, you can either drag and drop to make your own or use a template. Best thing for us is that the software is free for the amount of employees we have (less than 50).

I'm always surprised by how fast and responsive everything it. Also, they have great developer support, so there is a rich integration environment growing.

If you make a mistake it is all lost and you can start over again. There is no simple undo button.

This product is a great out-of-the-box solution that allows our employees to view our ever-changing org chart. Very easy to use and better than our intranet that was previously being used.

The Google Calendar integration is immensely helpful as well.

I love the ability to immediately find a number to contact who i am looking for. Having a phone number business and cell is a great.

The ability to see my coworker directory at a glance is a huge benefit, and the vacation board feature is really helpful day-to-day as well.

The ability to manage the TO for a dynamic organization. The ease with which you can integrate new team members into an existing workforce.

We have a closer community as a company thanks to the software.

There a few seconds of lag time when expanding a section of the organization chart. Full employee directory does not have a column for location or department, thus could not sort via those parameters.

Works well for what it is. You can make a good looking chart with not a lot of effort.

Pingboard is super organized, easy to use, great value for the cost. You can use it with Google Cal.

This is costly if noone updates this so only if you spend the time on the system, you will get out the most out of it.

CATS Applicant Tracking System was first introduced as an open source application. In 2007, the solution was released as a cloud-hosted version.


CATS helps the recruiting firms to manage their entire operations involved in a recruitment life cycle. CATS search engine combs through resumes and highlights keywords. Comprehensive reports can be exported directly to Excel, giving users visibility over the pipeline for a position. CATS is also customizable and can be integrated into any company’s website.


CATS pushes job postings automatically to well-known job boards, such as Indeed and Glassdoor. Imported resumes can be emailed into CATS with the Resume Inbox feature. Once resumes are submitted, CATS automatically parses through them and enters them in the company database.


Since each recruiter’s hiring method varies, CATS offers different add-ons for Outlook, Word and social media. Custom questionnaires are available to screen applicants early on and CATS provides templates for the email blast.
