### Most mentioned pros

- It has many options to customize the way you keep track of time, tasks, and helps with having internal communication within the platform's chat feature.
- The platform delivers a strong, user-friendly mobile and web experience for frontline teams, making scheduling, time tracking, and team communication simple and reliable.
- The tool has great time tracking capability so we are able to ensure employees reports to their duties on time through the clock in/out time which promotes to high productivity.

### Most mentioned cons

- What I liked least about Connecteam is that it sometimes goes down or experiences technical issues, which can be frustrating when trying to communicate with the team or access important information. When the system is unavailable, it can delay tasks and make it difficult for employees to check schedules, complete assignments, or receive updates.
- It works well for me the scheduler from my computer, but it is not the best application for our field crew because of the large context the application opens up in on a phone.
- Also I would like it to be easier for my staff to access the forms - I want them to be able to fill out their shift report easily after every shift but it doesn't allow me to attach it to the shift with the current plan.

Overall, my experience with Connecteam has been positive. It’s an easy-to-use platform that helps streamline time tracking, employee management, communication, and rewards. I've had a generally positive experience with Connecteam, using it regularly to manage my team's workflow and communication. While it's not perfect, the platform has streamlined many processes and saved me a significant amount of time in the long run, which is a major plus for me.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

Connecteam's ease of use and intuitive interface make it a pretty solid choice for team management. We've found it works well enough for our team of 25 to stay organized and communicate effectively.

#### Cons

The mobile app can be a bit clunky at times, and it took a bit to figure out how to use it effectively. Not a huge deal, but it's kind of annoying when you're trying to stay on top of things on the go.

Overall, I would recommend Connecteam to any small to medium organization; it will help you grow in efficiency and provide the highest quality HR tools for the price, hands down. And now is the time to join, because we are getting new features at our current pricing, and with as much as they are adding, the price will have to go up.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

My favorite thing about Connecteam is the spectrum of services! However, High-quality time-tracking, scheduling, and onboarding tools are the key specific draws for us. There is no question that Connecteam offers the best value for the price. The most unique thing I love about Connecteam is the fact that they publish user feedback and how they are using that information to prioritize their R&D and add new functions to their software. It's innovative and transparent.

#### Cons

Sometimes, the fact that Connecteam is sold in modules (operations, HR&skills, and communications) hampers how the apps within those modules interact with each other. Connecteam is trying to address this with integrations, but it's still a little bumpy sometimes. Also, sometimes the features that are locked or accessible at various pay tiers don't make sense to me, but I'm sure there's internal data that bears that out.

#### Reasons for choosing Connecteam

Better spectrum of services, high quality on certain services, and overall value

#### Reasons for switching to Connecteam

Rising prices on other individual services

Introducing Connecteam has streamlined our scheduling in a big way and improved productivity and communication. We had been using Slack but were still scheduling by hand. Connecteam has saved us time and empowered other managers to create monthly schedules ahead of time and to do so quickly.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Easy to use, increased efficiency in scheduling, great UI. Connecteam has streamlined our scheduling process and cultivated better communication with our team. When we struggle to get information disseminated among our staff we start by asking "How can we use Connecteam to help us through this?" and find a solution quickly.

#### Cons

I wish I could dial in notifications a little more, especially for group chats vs. messages directly to me. I've turned off notifications for scheduling but still find that I get a lot more notifications than I need to be receiving--and I'm the general manager, so I usually need to be in the know. I also wish there was a way to increase the urgency of a shift that is open and needs to be filled and communicate that to staff without necessarily filling up our chat.

#### Reasons for switching to Connecteam

We weren't using Slack to schedule, only to facilitate communication. When we had the opportunity to start using scheduling in Slack, we didn't think that the benefits made the cost worth it, so we search for other options and had a create experience with the Connecteam sales rep who helped onboard us.

Love it! As an Administrative Assistant to the Founder/CEO of a small business, I deeply appreciate how many problems Connecteam solves. Rather than using multiple apps and leaving files in a cloud and managing them, Connecteam does it all.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5

- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Connecteam has been so helpful for our small business. It handles everything from HR to training, and even streamlines inner-staff communications. It's genuinely been a life-saving tool for our company. The customer support and even the AI support have been excellent! If you have a question, it isn't long before you find an answer. They even give personalized video tutorials if necessary, and sincerely try to help. We've been able to abolish many bottlenecks and staff hurdles by using this platform. Once you get past the slight, initial learning curve, the platform is easy to use too. It's been wonderful!

#### Cons

They appear to be working on developing a bit more fluidity across the different sections, which will be super helpful.

#### Reasons for choosing Connecteam

Price, features, and high reviews were the deciding factor.

#### Reasons for switching to Connecteam

Overall, connecteam has been a great step for our organization. I wish we could find a way to make entering payroll time more efficient, but it's still an improvement to what we had before. Our onboarding was alright; I never felt like we were super prepared until we just went live and dealt with the issues as they came. In a prior job, I did major ERP implementations as a Financial team lead, I have done the integration and testing steps and the training. This software is what it is for what you pay. There are some standard things that would make sense for Connecteam to implement, but development comes with a price.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

The value for the money we paid; ease of use, teaching my employees was easy. I can easily find time data when billing my customer.

#### Cons

I still cannot load an iif file into my quickbooks payroll system. I key it in, which is still faster than before, but really thought my life would be easier with an upload to quickbooks. Also, paid time off tracking is not available for our organization. Our employees can request PTO, but the system is not able to accrue time per pay period. I feel like that is a pretty common way to accrue time off so not having that option is a little surprising.

#### Reasons for choosing Connecteam

Cost for the features we wanted. Geofencing was important for one of our locations.

Connecteam has been always been fantastic to use in my experience, has never been "down", never had login issues, support is always great. Hopefully they have more improvements and additions on their roadmap.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Connecteam is super simple to get up and running. It's very intuitive to use, unlike many other platforms I've experienced. Customer support is quick, and has always been very helpful and friendly to boot. The fact that Connecteam let's you have 10 users before charging is another plus. It enables you to get to know the platform before committing, which is not only rare, but great value.

#### Cons

I would love the option for forms to be able to fetch data from a source. For example, you have a drop-down list on several forms, if an option needs to be added to the list, you have to update every single form rather than just the source. This could be implemented and be amazing.

#### Reasons for choosing Connecteam

The reason we chose Connecteam over others was the cost and ease of use.

#### Reasons for switching to Connecteam

Assignar became prohibitively expensive for what we were using it for, and Connecteam was a far better fit.

Overall, we’ve had a really great experience with Connect Team! And they can be super helpful, especially since they are continually rolling out new improvements

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Honestly, we love the improvements. Connect continues to make. They have a new clocking option called the NFC. And it’s already done wonders for helping people clock in and out.

#### Cons

It can sometimes be hassle to add an additional time clock when we build a new location. It also just cost us more money. We are a smaller company, but we have about 10 to 15 employees at each location. If there were a way to have a clock in for the whole company and it just separated it by locations that would be phenomenal. And obviously so other people can’t see other locations time parks.

#### Reasons for switching to Connecteam

We made the switch because Connect Team has a lot more to offer! They have chats and the time clock option.

Overall I have loved using Connecteam and don't know how we managed before without it. The customer service team is always very helpful and take their time to walk me through anything. The app itself is great and easy to use from a staff perspective giving us one place to have our schedules, tracking of information and staying connected with each other. Great value. #### Cons

This is still a new ish system for our company, and we are still learning the ins and outs but we haven't had any issues with bugs or the system crashing, so that's a plus.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I like being able to see and edit scedules easily, as well as creating forms and chats for the team. Subtasks on the schedules are great because we can see how busy each person is during the day. The time tracker is also great because we can see and remind eployees to sign in/out due to their in time activity on the app. Also great that they can adjust their own hours in real time before thwir timecard is reviewed for the week.

#### Cons

Unless you are an admin, you are not able to create subtasks on other employees scedukes. This is tricky as we like to make notes for each other and if something needs to go on there, non admin haave to ask admin to add it. The other frustrating thing is the view when signing in from my phone vs. The computer. On the computer, I'm automatically signed in as admin, whereas in my phone, i have to click into being an admin before doing anything on there. It would be better if it just signed me in as admin on my phone automatically. There are too many plan upgrades needed when we want to add things like extra subtask spots, which makes it seem like the value for the money doesn't seem worth it all of the time.

#### Reasons for switching to Connecteam

There weren't enough features (such as forms, timecards, and chats) all in one spot and it was harder to keep track of everything on multiple apps/platforms.

Overall a very helpful tool, with some minor issues. Also, they are a bit intense. Constant checkups, which are probably well meant but if there is an issue, trust me I will let you know. Could be a culture thing, as a Dutch person I quickly find things to be over the top.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

It's easy to use, doesn't take a lot of time to learn. It makes it easy to track who has seen your updates which is nice. There are a lot of options, and it's fairly customizable, but not to the extend where it's overwhelming. Support is always very quick to respond if you have any questions and they always do their best.

#### Cons

Some technical issues, and how it sometimes feels like many features are still missing. Support is super friendly but maybe it bit much. They're not always the most helpful. A consistent problem is not being able to take photos in the app without it going back to the starting screen, so I have to exit the app, take a photo, then send it. Also, linking when sharing things does not work. For example, if I want to share a file, it shows up as an option for sharing, but when I select it, I just get sent to the starting screen again. We use this instead of Whatsapp, but I find it less convenient. The milestones are also super annoying, I wish we could just disable those.

Our overall experience with Connecteam has been positive but with a learning curve. The platform has been helpful for tracking employee time by specific jobs, which has improved our job costing accuracy. The geo-tracking feature has also been useful for monitoring field crews while they’re clocked in. However, the platform is not as intuitive as we had hoped. It took us quite a bit of time to learn where everything is located, particularly when setting up job sites. Once everything is properly set up, Connecteam works well for what we need. It’s a solid option for small to mid-sized construction companies that want better job costing and time tracking, but be prepared to invest some time upfront getting everything configured.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 2/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 2/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The biggest benefit for us has been the ability to track employee time by specific job. Being able to assign time to individual jobs has made job costing much easier and more accurate. The geo-tracking feature is also helpful, as it lets us see where our crews are when they’re clocked in. The mobile app is straightforward for our field team to use, and they’ve had very little trouble clocking in and out.

#### Cons

The main drawback is that the platform isn’t very intuitive. It can be difficult to find where things are located, and the navigation feels clunky at times.

It’s especially great for medium-sized companies that need better organization and employee management

This has been by far the best timekeeping, scheduling, and planning tool we’ve used. We previously used Monday.com, but it felt too clunky for our business. This platform makes everything simple and efficient—our team can easily view their schedules, check their days off, and even submit time-off requests all in one place. It’s made a huge difference in how we manage our operations.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

What I like most is having time tracking and scheduling all in one place. It makes everything much more efficient for our team. Our staff can easily view their shifts, request time off, and clock in and out without any confusion. The built-in chat is also a huge plus—they can communicate in real time and even upload photos directly in the chat, which helps with coordination and accountability.

#### Cons

One downside we’ve experienced is the lack of an edit history or undo feature. If an event or shift is accidentally deleted or overwritten, there’s no way to recover the previous version. We’ve spent significant time building out full events, and when making a quick change, a simple mistake can’t be reversed—which can be frustrating and time-consuming. Adding a version history or undo functionality would make this platform significantly more reliable for day-to-day operations.

#### Reasons for switching to Connecteam

Too hard to use. Very clunky and not clean.

My overall experience with Connecteam has been mostly positive. The platform offers useful tools for communication, scheduling, and task management, making it easier to stay organized and keep teams connected. I especially like how convenient it is to access information from a mobile device. However, there have been occasions when the app has been slow or temporarily unavailable, which can interrupt workflows and cause frustration. Despite these issues, the features provided by Connecteam help improve productivity and collaboration. Overall, it is a helpful workforce management solution that simplifies daily operations, though improved reliability would make the experience even better.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

**What I liked most about Connecteam is how easy it is to use and how it helps teams stay organized. The app makes communication simple by allowing employees and managers to share updates, schedules, and important information in one place. I also like the task management features, which help everyone know what needs to be done and when. The mobile-friendly design means employees can access everything from their phones, making work more efficient. Overall, Connecteam is a very useful platform because it improves teamwork, saves time, and helps businesses run more smoothly and effectively.**

#### Cons

What I liked least about Connecteam is that it sometimes goes down or experiences technical issues, which can be frustrating when trying to communicate with the team or access important information. When the system is unavailable, it can delay tasks and make it difficult for employees to check schedules, complete assignments, or receive updates. There have also been times when the app felt slow to load, affecting productivity. While Connecteam has many useful features, reliability is very important for a work management platform. Improving uptime and reducing technical disruptions would make the overall user experience much better.
