Makes Applicant Tracking a breeze

This product has streamlined our recruiting process. We can now track everything and can see quickly where all requisitions are in the process. No more lost paperwork! It also makes AAP reporting a breeze!

Pros

Everything is online - no more papers. Ability to set security settings by a group based on the level of access needed.

Cons

I cannot think of anything.

Streamlines the process of recruiting

Our company has been using Cyber Recruiter for several years. Our Human Resources department act as the administrators of the software. As a hiring manager, I have had a good experience with this recruitment software overall, and have been able to easily onboard a significant number of staff members over the years.

Pros

Individual hiring managers can easily submit requisition requests, monitor incoming applicants, and maintain notes on their status in the hiring/ interview process.

Cons

The layout and aesthetics of the site seem a little outdated, so it would be nice to see a refresh at some point.

Out of Date Technology - Complicated to Learn

The system is very "robust" as they call it, which makes it complicated to use. Even with a recent update, it looks and feels out of date. Lots of employees have asked if we should be on a more modern software, and I have to tell them "We just implemented this one." Unless you are willing to use it out of the box and only have one person running people management for your entire company, this may not be the software for you. The owners also own a wine bar, so this isn't their main focus. Customer service is always great, but we've leaned on them more than we wanted to. Granted, we asked for some customization; however, this is the first software I've dealt with that was not able to customize a process. We plan to use the software for a little longer, but it was a beast to get going.

Pros

Good customer service; owners that are willing to work with you.

Cons

Out of date technology. There are too many ways to complete one task. Each way has a slightly different result than another. It makes it very difficult to establish a training plain or best practice with a team of 20 that handle recruiting and people management, and a team of over 100 leaders using it as well.

With our release last year we updated the look and feel but did not want to "force" this on clients, we allow each client to change a field in the setup to switch to the new look. In addition, the software is designed with corporate recruiting in mind with a goal of accommodating many different recruiting processes across many different industries. To accomplish this goal, it has flexibility in 90% of the setup and usage; this can create some unintended complexity when moving from a paper-based recruiting process. Organizations that use a shared resource for HR functions versus a dedicated HR department might have issues with tools designed for full time users. We believe Cyber Recruiter is the only ATS that allows clients to define unlimited application processes so each Applicant has an appropriate, tailored, interactive experience. For companies that do not have a sophisticated IT team, we recommend the cloud version or have us host your system for you.
