EightHR review

I cannot imagine NOT having EightHR. We've totally eliminated new hire paperwork. E-verify compliance is done through the software, so there is never a concern that the required documents aren't completed properly. Having everything on the computer works for our managers. And the support that we get from the EightHR team is, for me, the greatest! Their customer support is second to none!

Pros

No matter what the user's skill level is, EightHR is easy to use! We are able to import all of our new hire information directly into our payroll software which has been a huge time saver for us! All direct deposit information is integrated in as well, so no errors on our part with regards to employee's personal account information. EightHR is sort of the "gate keeper" as it talks to our POS system and then to our payroll software.

Cons

I really can't think of any issue that I've had with the software that Rick and his team haven't worked diligently to solve.

Payroll Manager software review

Our experience with EightHR has been great. I would not want to do payroll without them.

Pros

We have been able to integrate multiple stores into System 8 easily. The support has been great and always working to enhance, modify and add new functions. I am able to pull the information I need from the system to update my payroll software without issue. I do not have to worry about tracking benefits or ACA reporting because System 8 will manage this for me. I am able to upload information to the employee portal without much effort to provide a better experience for employees and cut down on my own workload. System 8 has most definitely made it easy for us to get more done, faster, with less people.

Cons

I do think that the ACA reporting could be a little easier to use. Although, it is something we only use once a year. Those once a year functions are always a little more difficult since there is not as much practice.

Growing product and Great Customer Support

Eight has been easy to implement with our company (this happened a few years ago). the management and employees find it easy to use.

Pros

your team at Arc is very quick to help. They are friendly and can easily navigate you through the system if you cannot find anything. The onboarding process is easy and you can be assured that new hires are completing the proper paperwork. It is stored and easy to access. Easy to make quick transfers. Program has good software for including employee performance write ups and or entering reviews/increases.

Cons

Find it difficult to run reports and easily access large amounts of employee data via reporting.

Quick & Helpful

My overall experience with Eight is heightened by the excellent service they provide. In my opinion & experience, they go above & beyond to resolve issues & help us achieve our goals.

Pros

There are several ways to search for an employee so it's helpful when answering employment verification calls. S8 makes it easy to remain compliant with ACA along with tracking benefit projections. I appreciate the integration with E-Verify too.

Cons

The only thing I would like to see improved is the ability to change email addresses. As of yet there's no simple way to do it & no way in the employee portal for employees to do it themselves.

Why I used Eight as much as I could

Whit out 8 I would not have been able to keep track of HR and ACA with a workforce that fluctuated from 1800 to 1600 front-line workers over the years I used it.

Pros

You could see what happened to any document and where it happened and who did the work and it was always accessible once you learned how to use it.

Cons

It was not always intuitive but the tech support made up for all that
