Because our programming is therapeutic in nature, but designed to be implemented by non-clinical staff, it is imperative that we test each staff candidate for emotional intelligence and cognitive abilities in addition to job-specific skills like Microsoft Office. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set up our account and get started with testing. When I had questions about which tests we should use for the roles we were hiring for, my account rep was knowledgeable and helpful. The post test reporting surfaced insights that absolutely helped us narrow down the candidate pool, so we didn't waste time and money interviewing the wrong people. So far, the money invested in using EmployTest, has saved us thousands. We no longer have "warm bodies"...we are confidently growing a staff of the right people in the right seats by doing pre-employment testing! Cons: That I did not find them sooner, but that was my fault for not searching sooner. I cannot think of anything I did not like about my experience or the service and product after using it. Cons: I wish there was more features for the Microsoft Office Suite - We test a lot of Outlook and the 365 is very difficult, so I test on the 2010 becuase it is more user friendly as I don't want to scare applicants away with the 365 version. Also,iIt isn't compatable with MAC products. Reasons for choosing EmployTest Ease of signing up and purchasing and it had the tests we were looking for. Test topics are formatted for the PC version of Office We have test customization options for Microsoft Office tests, including Outlook, so we'll connect with you to make sure you can test applicants at the right level.
