If you are tired of having to deal with long wait times between tickets, Folks HR is the way to go. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros - bilingual HR software, it's a must for a company operating in Canada and Quebec. - great KPI module to help managers reach their HR goals - timesheet PER project (what a lifesaver!) - great value for money #### Cons - no e-signature and that's a bit annoying but we can absolutely manage without it - the demo is a real demo not a trial #### Reasons for choosing Folks HR Price. She provided all the training to our staff. The system is easy to navigate. #### Cons The performance appraisal module is not the best. The expenses module is not great either. It lacks a lot of customization and updates are not implemented unless others customers also request it. #### Reasons for switching to Folks HR The older system InfoHR was terrible for running reports. Have used it both as an employee and a manager. - No SSO support, annoying email "2-factor" login. - Very clunky UX unclear where I will find different functionality. - UI is not engaging, it's not "fun" to use. I don't feel like I am getting any work done. - I work in a fully web-app environment, this is the only app that routine fails to load. - Routinely fails to save input information making me have to review everything numerous times, save a draft outside of the tool in case of failure. #### Vendor response Hi there, Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. Good range of functions, easy to set up and use. #### Cons There are some limitations to reporting and display. For example, for expenses - if the report is long and has many line items with reciepts to download, it would be helpful to have a "download all" button instead of going into each row separately and downloading a receipt. In five years we've encountered very few bugs, and the platform has been consistently stable and reliable. The team at Folks is helpful, responsive, and open to feedback, and the training they provided from the start helped us get up to speed much faster. #### Cons The learning curve upfront can be a bit steep, new users may need some hand-holding to get comfortable with all the features. Certain sections like banked hours/overtime tracking aren't as intuitive for employees. A more guided onboarding experience would help.
