GoCo is a free cloud-based human resources, benefits and payroll solution designed for small businesses.

GoCo automates the process of collecting required documents for newly hired talent, enrolling new employees in benefits plans and adding employees to company payroll with the appropriate tax and benefit deductions.

Once employees are onboarded, GoCo offers self-service options for employees to request time-off and make payment or benefits changes.

GoCo helps users access an array of benefits plans to enroll employees into new plans online. The solution offers access to over 250 benefit experts through the Employee Support Line to help answer any benefits related questions and maintain compliance with relevant agencies.

GoCo integrates with most existing payroll providers and syncs information changed within its dashboard across all linked platforms. It is available at no cost to users and only takes a percentage from benefits providers when businesses use GoCo for choosing their provider.

We love the new hire onboarding, paperless everything, managing the day to day like PTO requests and approvals, and compliance layer that's always looking out for us and keeping us in check. Our employees love the easy to use interface and ability to self manage all of their benefits and paid time off. Oh... and we love Slack integration, so cool.

We'd love to see integration with additional project management software

Recommendations

Most HR software don't connect HR and Benefits well, and even fewer sync well with Payroll, make sure you look closely and even try them out, it's one of the reasons we really love about GOCO as they sync up our HR, Benefits and Payroll along with PTO and it's all simple and automated.
