As soon as I started working with this product...I immediately started demoing other products for us to switch to.
This entire product is horrible. It's not user friendly. It doesn't sync up with your email or calendar. You are not able to quick view an applicant's resume. You are not able to quickly look up notes or leave them with a date stamp unless you date stamp the note yourself. The customer service is not great either.

Data not transferring from applicant entry on Indeed to Hireology is a major concern. Also, answers to applicantion questions get dropped when moving applicants from one queue to another. There are also issues with screen freezes and missing SUBMIT button when trying to use their internal email options to contact applicants.
I am an ex IT person *22 years* who has been both a programmer and an applications developer, software retrofitter, and trainer. I know what I am talking about!
Hireology also has an overly complicated user interface.
Trainers are focused on their agenda, not on answering your questions.
I like the idea of keeping applicants all in one place, and being able to track rejections as well for repeat submitters.
Overly complex, very buggy. This software is not fit to be offered!

Nothing. I found my account with Hireology to be a useless service.
The background check was a phone call and a note to me that nobody answered the phone. This describes my entire experience with Hireology. The company and I would describe completed services in very different ways. I feel I received no valuable information from the company. Ended up not really using the product and, after a year of not using the product, they automatically charged me to renew my account. I called them that very day and they refused to close my account and refund my money. Let me stress, I was actually trying to cancel my account on the renewal date and did not want to use the account for a single day of the new term.
Skip the cost and just post your jobs online. They don't do much more.

I like that the software allows you to post for positions, track responses, and perform ancillary services like background checks.
Some of the costs for ancillary services like background checks can be pricey depending on the level you select.

It helps me stay organized, i.e., we have 2 businesses in different locations with staffing needs ongoing throughout the year. Instead of mounds of paperwork and files, I can keep the candidates' information up-to-date within their Hireology file. Hiring acquisition for each site is much easier. With new tagging ability on each Candidate's file, searching is made much easier.
Latest upgrades have taken some of the software glitches out that caused problems in the past. I'd like the cost of using some of the featured 'job sites' [beyond the 'included' sites] wasn't so steep. I do use Linked-in occasionally in a short boost. Price generally prohibits small businesses like ours from using any additional features on the sites.
