Hoops is a cloud-based human resource solution that helps users post jobs, recruit candidates through social profiles and engage both active and passive candidates with the company. Candidates answer questions, submit work samples and upload videos to show who they are and what they can do. Candidate responses are used to create profiles for the hiring team to review. The solution can be accessed from iPads, tablets and mobile devices.

Hoops helps recruiters create job-specific questions and tasks for candidates, customized messages to welcome candidates and keep them informed of upcoming tasks. Questions and tasks are time-bound to keep candidates on track and moving through the hiring process. Candidates use an access key to create their accounts on a branded web portal.

Hiring teams can view profiles, give responses and rank candidates inside the Hoops platform. Pricing is per month. Support is offered via knowledge base and ticket.

The best thing about Hoops is the engagement rate... it's off the charts. We couldn't find any other platform that could get anywhere near the user engagement that Hoops gets consistently.

There's not really anything to dislike... They've been super responsive to questions, and setup, love the features and ease of use. So nothing negative to report.

Recommendations

This platform is positioned in the HR market, but we've also used it successfully for onboarding and training as well. With the way it's built, it's actually really flexible and the engagement rate makes it ideal for more than just hiring.

What's not to like? Makes the application process engaging, gives me a high-definition look at a candidate before ever submitting to a hiring manager. My clients love it, my candidates love it. I've been extremely satisfied.
