Better than wheniWork or google calendar for scheduling and staffing
Very good experience with Hyre so far. The platform has taken care of my biggest concern which is how time-consuming it used to be to schedule staff on paper.
PROSQuick and easy. I can set shifts in advance and not have to take time every week to keep recreating them. The platform makes it accessible to my staff so I’m not spending time chasing them around to make sure they know when they’re supposed to be in. It’s also really flexible in adjusting shifts as needed. With staff also being able to pick up any open shifts, it saves me extra time and energy of having to schedule them around.
CONSSo far satisfied. In fact I don't usually write reviews but Hyre has really made my life easy for my latest restaurant and catering business.

Heard about them from a friend and I trusted people who have used it. I'm now a fan.

Easier to use. Can hire non employees for shifts from their pool. Honestly it's cheaper too.

Really easy shift scheduling software - managed over 30 employees at a time
I was using google sheets and google docs for my scheduling tasks at school but that quickly got overwhelming - the second I needed to schedule more than 5 people. I tried out a variety of shift scheduling tools but most were not user friendly and expensive. I liked that Hyre was really easy to get started with and their customer service was very responsive. They walked me through the platform and helped my whole team create their accounts. Thanks!
PROSI helped manage a food prep company for my school over the summer and needed a scheduling tool for my staff. I used a few different tools but landed on Hyre because its layout was so simple. I really enjoyed the calendar view - it had a simple drag and drop feature that gave you a "make it and forget it" feeling for weekly scheduling. It's so automated and useful. It beats the old style of tracking things manually. Highly recommended!
CONSThe company adds new features every week. I am still learning the software. In the beginning I was missing a payroll feature but since I started using Hyre, they already integrated with my payroll software.

The other softawares I tried were not easy to use and their customer service was lacking.

The Scheduling App every company should HYRE
It really allows me to keep track of my hours at work. And it's a very simple app to use for what is for. I lost me too clock in and clock out regardless of where my job site is at.
CONSIt's not a big deal but the design could use a little upgrading. But it could be part of the reason why it's so simple to use.

Great experience using this tool!
Amazing app to manage schedules, availability. Messaging and schedule in one place. I like having all information work-related in one place. All-in-one makes it very helpful hands-on.
CONSI haven't noticed any bugs or issues with the app. Haven't heard anything bad from managers too. Overall experience: If you want to do things quickly, this tool is a go-to. I have nothing bad to say about the app. Simple and straight to the point.

Great tool. Would recommend!
Overall experience - I liked all features that we used with Hyre, genuinely cut down so much time we used to waste on filling shifts and checking availabilities.
PROSVery flexible software with many great features! It was easy to understand how to use it, no need for special training, so felt positive about it as soon as we integrated it. I like how easy it was for employees to pick up shifts and view weekly schedules, availability management is top-notch! I am not working at that workplace anymore but I still remember how it saved lots of time for our HRs.
CONSAs a user, I didn't have any issues with this software.
