### Most mentioned pros

- Some useful aspects of Jobvite include the Requisition tab which is very intuitive and has search options you can refine (freeform search field, company, locations, department, requisition type, etc.), I also enjoy how it has the recruiter and hiring manager names on the job postings and an easy way to see what jobs you can send a "Jobvite for".
- Using Jobvite is a bit like exploring a high-tech hiring hub it’s filled with good features that make recruitment more efficient, but it also comes with a learning curve and challenges that new user may take time and high effort to learn the whole process.
- I enjoy having an internal platform to leverage to search for internal job openings and send referral invitations to external applicants!

### Most mentioned cons

- I think the "Jobvites" is less intuitive than the "Requisitions" tab.
- There are a few things I do not like about JobVite's interface that can be improved.
- The system could occasionally lag

### Jobvite does the things a Talent Attraction Pro needs...without a lot of fuss

I have used all major Applicant Tracking and Applicant RM systems. Jobvite is the cleanest of what might be termed the "minimalist" systems. It gets the job done without a lot of fuss. Very user-centric and intuitive, ramp-time is fairly short. Some of the bells (Campaigns, email "slams" etc.) have a steep learning curve; this is problematic for me since I am working specialist positions rather than commodity positions.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

There are three elements with Jobvite that are just the best: 1. Each landing page is clean and consistent. Any TA Pro knows that every implementation of a system like Jobvite is modified to meet the needs of the client. I've used Jobvite at two companies and while there were the expected differences, the overall look, feel and function was essential the same, module to module. 2. Jobvite has done a great job of integrating the Engage side with the rest of the functionality. One of my personal metrics for ATSs is "can I get from Point A to Point B in four or fewer mouse clicks." Jobvite has done themselves proud in meeting a metric they likely didn't know existed. 3. Jobvite has sufficient points for adding significant information about a candidate as the candidate moves through the selection process. This is important for many reasons and most TA Pros know what they are.

#### Cons

There is one issue that drives me up a wall with Jobvite and it is pervasive throughout the application. Data and information that should be passed to 1. other common applications or 2. stay with the applicant as the applicant is moved within Jobvite to other requisitions (and this is a hyper-common occurrence) JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN. Two examples: 1. Jobvite makes it very easy to send a quick note to a potential candidate from within a requisition. Problem--that note doesn't get passed to the primary email client AND if the candidate tries to reply, the reply does not go directly to the primary email client. Drives me up a wall. 2. In my organization, we have very close control over visa sponsorship. If I reject a candidate for requiring visa sponsorship and note that fact in the NOTE function, that is not married to the candidate's record. Having this functionality would save Talent Attraction team time.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5

- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The jobvite platform has made recruiting a breeze for our talent acquisition team. The user interface is intuitive and allows us to easily schedule interviews and track candidates throughout the hiring process.

#### Cons

The reporting tools could use some updating, but we track all of that separately anyways. We have a great experience tracking on boarding, but better reporting would be useful for streamlining insights into how we could improve our hiring process.

#### Reasons for choosing Jobvite

More robust functionality and more competitive price point

#### Pros

Jobvite has so many platforms available for integration. We currently use Jobvite for our Talent Acquisition team and also for our new hire onboarding. Both of these features have improved our processes. The customer service is also EXCELLENT!

#### Cons

The system can sometimes be finicky and changes will happen with little to no explanation. Our customer service rep is always able and willing to help resolve the issues, but it would be helpful if they didn't happen in the first place!

Overall my experience is great, I like that Jobvite is easy to use and you can pretty much jump in and start using it and figuring things out without worrying about "messing" anything up. Recruiters and sourcers alike will find that it does not slow down the process and if the company switched to Jobvite they would not be unhappy.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The pros for Jobvite is that is customizable and really easy to use. You don't need very much training and it links to your social platforms so sending automated announcements is easy!

#### Cons

Cons about the software are that it can be slow at times and there is not a texting feature YET.

#### Reasons for switching to Jobvite

I believe it was for cost, however Jobvite is easier to use that iCIMS but very similar, if you have used iCIMS you can use Jobvite.

I had a great experience, except for working out the integration glitches, as it cost me my position and was not discovered until later - HR did call and clarify what happened after. I am sure that it is all configured correctly, as it has been 5 years since this happened. I love the ease of use of JobVite over previous products such as iSIMs and BrassRing.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I love the ease of use of this product and that I could have pre-set questions in one panel while being able to view the resume in another. The ease of scheduling through the platform and integration to Outlook is fantastic.

#### Cons

Sometimes, Outlook meetings scheduled through JobVite would not show up in Outlook or be captured in JobVite but only in Outlook. This was disappointing because I had scheduled meetings that counted toward my KPI, and they would appear in Outlook but not in JobVite. This led to punishment on my end. After discovering what happened with this glitch, it was too late for me.

My overall experience with Jobvite has been positive. As mentioned before, I've used Workday for jobs after I get a job offer to be hired. It's super easy to use and access. When getting a new job, the onboarding process can be overwhelming some times with all the paperwork you need ot fill out

Overall I have had a good experience with Jobvite and I really like how we are able to post positions simultaneously to all the best job boards.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5

#### Pros

It's great for applicant tracking as well as automating certain things like candidate scheduling, mass messaging, and resume review. Publisher is also great for automating LinkedIn posts that advertise positions. We recently started using engage which allows us to setup web/email marketing campaigns which is a great feature for targeting niche candidates like people in tech.

#### Cons

When I email candidates via Jobvite, all of their messages are attached to the same email which can sometimes be confusing and has caused me to miss emails from them when they all come in at the same time. I also wish that Jobvite had a function where the HR team could approve the offer letter once it has been generated before it gets sent to the candidate.

### A good, well-rounded ATS, but not the most modern one

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5

- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

Jobvite is a tool that becomes highly visible in an organisation. All employees, hiring managers and recruiters get one common place to interact. It's puts a lot of structure in place in a quite easy to use way and you will find yourself relying on the system for feedback and candidate communication. If you don't have a ATS already and if you want to get started with something that becomes a highly used tool for the entire company it's great. The tool integrates well with LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms. It's good at tracking where candidates comes from if your recruiters use the tool correctly.

#### Cons

It's CRM functionality is not the greatest and if you want to use Jobvite as a sourcing tool it's not the best. The reporting tool is not great if you do any customisation to Jobvite. Quite often you find that you just need to export data to excel to find what you are looking for. Jobvite had some automatization but it's not as good as other ATS. The pace of development is quite slow. Over the years you only see a few limited functions being added and it leaves you with a feeling that you might need to switch ATS in the longer term. It's not the most modern ATS outthere and if they don't step up their development speed it's will be obsolete in the next few years.

It's very easy to maintain data in the tool and hence our Talent Acquisition Team's work is more transparent to the stakeholders. We also get to know where are the delays in the interview process or offer approval process

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

- It's very consumer friendly. If the consumer hasn't used any ATS tool ever, Jobvite has a very easy UI and anyone can pick it up quite quickly without any formal training. - I really appreciate the quick help I get from the Customer Support team, they are just simply awesome.

#### Cons

I would rather write "What could be better" rather than writing any cons It will be really great if the users can create more and more reports rather than going back and forth with your team, there are many times that there is some amount of data that we require but we can't create the report from scratch and have to keep scrolling through already available reports

#### Pros

The only good thing is the customer service support as there are so many problems with this software they are really fast and efficient, however many problems do not have a solution as the tool it is not flexible.

#### Cons

This software needs so much improvement. It is not user friendly, neither good for reporting, you can´t customize the tool and adapt to the company needs. As a recruiter, we can modify the software alerts, so we receive notifications for every new update, change, movement happening, so we are full of notifications daily. It would be much better if we could have a simple view of the positions and have a way to organize and prioritize per position. The reports need to improve quite a lot, and it is impossible to do an internal search of candidates of different positions or from other years.

#### Pros

I used this when i was in recruiting and it was a great app for tracking candidates and sourcing good resumes amongst 100s coming in every day. It had the ability to send a rejection message when appropriate but could not (at the time and maybe this has changed since) send one at a suggested future date which was our practice especially because we couldnt reject as soon as the resume came in (ex:if the resume is blatantly not of our requirements and in our niche world it was easy for that to be the case). That was the only major area for improvement. Other than that it did a good job in tracking candidates and making our recruiting lives easy!

#### Cons

It used to not be able to let you send a rejection note at a future date but maybe that has changed now?

Jobvite was a step up for my company. We out grew our former ATS about 2 years ago. With that said I do not feel that Jobvite it the right fit for our organization. Once our 2 year contact is up I don't foresee us renewing. My company needs to be able to field hundreds of applicant's through our ATS daily. It became very clear shortly after using Jobvite that this software is not meant for a company like mine. It lacks small features that I need as a Staffing Manager, in order for my tasks to be efficient. We initially offered to pay more money if they needed to customize any software but they do not do that. You have to post your change to a forum where people can vote on it. The ones with the most votes gets applied in the release. This is fine in theory but if no other companies are endorsing the idea you post to the forum it leads me to believe that Jobvite can not handle the type of recruiting we do and does not have many companies like ours. Which should have made clear to us in the initial stages of negotiation.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5

#### Pros

1. Great Level 1 Customer Service representatives, all you do is call in and someone can help you with a simple question or problem almost immediately. I use this feature often. 2. The site is user friendly, it was easy to teach members of my team how to use it. 3. Publisher tool is awesome! Very easy to post jobs to all social media outlets.

#### Cons

1. Sub par Level 2 Customer Service Reps, when a level 1 person can not answer your question they pass it off to a level 2 Rep. These level 2 Reps that are assigned to your case are hard to get a hold of. They are reluctant to get on the phone with you. I have had 2 separate instances where I had been passed to a level 2 Reps, I was not impressed with their customer service skills. 2. When we went through the integration process we had many meetings with the integration Rep assigned to use but towards the he fizzled out. We were not fully integrated and he passed us off to the customer service line for further questions.

#### Cons

I don't like the Admin interface and the ease of use. It took us well over 6 months to build this Jobvite software ATS and its taking even longer to update it to our needs now. We've used it for well over 3 years and I can say I've seen other ATS systems with easier setup and backend use.

It's been rocky. We changed to jobvite about 9 months ago and have been struggling. There is better functionality in certain areas than what we were using before but there has been significant gaps in usability and integration and also challenges in working with the Jovbite team to get timely fixes.

#### Pros

intuitive to navigate; can easily move candidates around

#### Cons

Limited functionality with dashboard. Have to go searching for information and can take too many clicks to get to the place you need to be. More so, there isn't a way to differentiate based on referral or internal candidates. All functionality is geared toward one approach to pipeline (external focus) and so it's extremely difficult to prioritize or work with other types of pipeline. Current employee pipeline is as important to our success as a Talent Acquisition department and mature/successful organizations have a tailored approach to cultivate and develop these candidates. But, you can't send jobvites if a role is posted internal only, you can't ask different application questions to those already employed (you have to use work arounds like forms instead) and many other workflows/reporting are not conducive to internal candidates.

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Ease of use. The learning curve is fairly small as compared to some of the robust ATS' on the market. Calendar scheduling is also very simple.

#### Cons

Advanced automation and analytics. Sometimes it seems that simple change can't be completed. As an example, there's a super minor customization I've requested that for the life of me can't understand why it can't be done. It would save me hours of time but that's for another day.

We used to use another, more simple ATS that didn't allow for candidates to be taken through a workflow, or even allow managers to submit feedback. We paired that with Google Sheets, and everything just got messy. We've been using Jobvite now for about a year, and it's really simplified my life, and kept things organized.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I like the intuitive way that I can track, and take candidates through the workflow. It allows me to see at a glance where my candidates are which helps me plan what needs to be done, and adjust sourcing. Jobvite also allows me to communicate clearly and instantly with hiring managers, as they have access to see where candidates are as well, and we can keep feedback all together.

#### Cons

My only con of Jobvite is that when I search a candidate's name, maybe a letter or two off, Jobvite will say there isn't anyone in the system with that name. So it's important to spell your candidate's name correctly. I wish it would bring up similarly spelled candidates, but other than that, I've enjoyed using Jobvite.

Easily setup and integrated with our org. Intuitive for those on the admin/backend side to navigate and use. Candidates have had great feedback about the application experience during interviews, which gives them more confidence moving to a new role/org .

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Really easy to setup and integrate with what was needed. Moved from an outdated, very manual process to easily managing and following up with potential candidates all in one place. Users appreciate seeing where the process is at, and the automated messages keep candidates in the loop throughout the process.

#### Cons

It would be nice as more of an all in one that could be used across more areas of the org that tie into HR. Apart from that, I really do not have negative feedback.

#### Vendor response

Thank you so much for being a Jobvite customer!

### It was fine

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

It did the job. It was not as robust as other ATSs I have used in the past but it did the job fine. There was not a lot of additional functionality (reporting, posting on multiple sites, DE&I, etc.) but it was good at collecting applicants and feedback.

#### Cons

It was very basic. We were previously using a much more modern system with better reporting and a better UI/UX. I didn't feel like there was a huge value add, other than the basic functions of an ATS.
