Pros/Cons
Pros
- Really like that this platform is a great way to promote two way communication. Mobile version is awesome.
- They are motivated when other staff see what they have been recognized for as well. The sense of community where people can "cheer each other on" has had a positive impact.
- I also love that the money received can be redeemed for amazing gift cards. Whether you want food, retail, or just a standard gift card, you have that option.
Cons
- I have found that people have submitted nominations, but we were unaware of these nominations because there is no alert system.
- We only get $5, and if we do not give out that $ we loose it at the end of the month.
- We have had a couple of missed Anniversaries that weren't acknowledged on the platform- not sure if internal issue or Motivosity. Can't think of anything I don't like.
Pros
- The team at Workvivo has been great to work with, they provide excellent customer care and make big enhancements to their product.
- Ease of access / use ability to communicate simultaneously to the group. Fantastic tool for engagement initiatives and keeping employees up to date with company news.
- It's fun, it's easy and it's an effective way of communicating important messages throughout the company while also giving employees an opportunity to showcase their personality.
Cons
- The use of the shout out feature does not always to be as intended. Inge would expect it to used in a relevant targeted way or often appears to be used in a effort of self promotion bordering on spam.
- It reminds me a lot of Facebook (which, personally, I stopped using over a year ago), but that isn't a gripe with the product as such - more my own feelings on social media.
- I added my work email to notifications and get numerous emails every day. My inbox has limited capacity so regular deletion necessary.
