A really nice out-of-the-box job board

Our job board is our primary revenue source. It's basically an e-commerce platform selling screen real estate. It's integral to our business and we've been happy with Niceboard.

Pros:

I'm so glad we found Niceboard before building a job board from scratch. It already has all the features we need and they've steadily been improving the product.

Cons:

We were a very early customer and bumped into a handful of bugs. Customer support was very responsive and everything has been cleaned up promptly.

Reasons for choosing Niceboard

We almost built this in Airtable but it would have required a lot of custom development work. Using Niceboard is way easier.

Easy to use, best UX/UI for a job board.

Cons:

The migration from an old site (smartjobboard) to a new one was challenging because of the customizations made on the old one, but customer service and Olivier helped quickly and made sure everything ran perfectly.

Niceboard is a job board software intended to boost productivity. It has a highly customizable and intuitive interface whic makes it easy to use. It is easy to earn and requires no compex coding. It is extremely SEO friendly which makes it very effective.

Cons:

Te monthly payment plan for Niceboard isa bit high. Also it needs improvement in the field of data analytics and shoud be more deailed.

High levels of customisability with the design elements. Very intuitive UI for back end config, clients, and applicants. Perfect for rapid deployment. Integration with Zapier to improve downstream processes and highly customised end user experiences. Very simple managing custom domains. Very reasonably priced given the extensive feature set.

Cons:

Some very minor features missing, however the feature roadmap is very exciting, and the dev team extremely responsive to feature requests.

Similar feature sets, but Niceboard is much more competitively priced and more user friendly.

Launching a beautiful job board couldn't be easier...

Using Niceboard has been a pleasant experience. Setup and customization are quick and easy, and the documentation is written well. It offers all of the features that you would expect for a modern job board and is very competitive as compared to other job boards. I had a few technical questions and customer support was quick to respond!

From signup to launch, Niceboard has made the entire process easy and intuitive. I had my niche job board launched in a matter of minutes and was able to customize it to my liking in less than an hour!

Cons:

There were a few visual theme customization options that I'd have liked to see, but I was able to customize what I needed by overriding the theme with code.

I chose Niceboard because it was more affordable, easier to set up, and offered more features for the price paid.

I do wish there were more customization options but if you’re fine with the defaults, then that’s not a major issue.

Very good customisable job board solution

Our experience with Niceboard has been very smooth - it is very customisable so you can either just get your job board set up quickly, or really dive into the options that Niceboard offers, of which there are many - so it can take some time if you go through every option. Once our board was set up to our liking and handed over to the team that would use it, maintenance has been very straightforward on my part.

Pros:

Really easy to set up. Very customisable, pretty much any text across the whole job board can be changed to suit your needs/locality. Our tier has an API which works well and we are making more and more use of it. Probably the largest benefit I have noticed is that the customer support has been second to none, they are always very quick to respond, very helpful, and accommodating to my questions (mostly about feature requests - we have not encountered many bugs).

Cons:

We looked into using the Niceboard-Zapier integration, but this did not include as much functionality as the API, so we have switched to using the API now which meant putting a couple more developers on our project. It would be good to see the Zapier functionality expanded in future. The fields on the 'apply' form can be customised to an extent, but some can only be hidden via custom CSS. It would be good to have toggles on these fields to choose whether to display them or not, but I am sure that will come with time.
