Great so far

Very happy so far with the experience.

Pros

The software is very customizable. Onboarding checklist can be configured in a variety of ways including multi-step processes. You can make tasks optional, mandatory and require signatures--even for things like watching youtube videos which I intend to use for routine orientation tasks and eventually for ongoing training. Customer service has been fantastic. Due to the flexibility and customization it's taken me a long time to get my head around exactly how I want to use the system--I've asked a million questions and have always had very good support and guidance. The reporting is also quite good showing you exactly where everyone is in your application/onboarding pipeline and what tasks are complete and what tasks are incomplete. You have several sorting options so it's easy to stay on task for both employee and HR team.

Cons

It's still a new system so some things are still in the works (for me integration with Indeed.com was very important but not set up quite yet). They have been very receptive--on this issue an Indeed interface was created within a week. I tried other systems that felt more polished, but they were also more limiting and didn't quite do what I wanted/needed them to do whereas HRCloud has been very customizable.

A Game Changer for HR!

I had a fantastic experience with this software and my implementation manager was a dream to work with! He was professional, flexible, responsive and very patient. He also had excellent knowledge of the product and was able to troubleshoot with me live rather than passing off to a development team or tech support. As far as what this product has done for our company, we went from zero process to a streamlined, efficient, organized onboarding experience for our new hires which receives rave reviews from our managers and new employees. As a company dedicated to employee experience and employer of choice status, this was in our top 2 initiatives of 2018 and well worth the investment!

Pros

Excellent ability to build out hierarchal workflow tasks, whether complex or simple. Love the consolidated process for multiple departments to keep in one record tied to an individual employee. User interface is fresh and has a professional but friendly feel. They are very open to feedback and explore development/feature requests timely.

Cons

It is a very robust software and can be overwhelming to learn if the user is not tech savvy. I don't see this as an issue for most regular users, but I do think it's quite helpful for the implementation point of contact to have intermediate to advanced technical proficiency.

Great Product - Crazy Expensive

Pros

This software interface is very clean and easy to navigate. E-Verify is included and done automatically which saves time. Mobile friendly. Unlimited users.

Cons

This software is crazy expensive compared to similar products. No option for month to month or annual contract price is based on number of new hires and when you have as many as we do it makes no sense.

Just what the doctor ordered... We had a shopping list and found HRCloud, which nails the list.

Pros

We got up and running way easier than I expected. We started from scratch - we had no legacy systems or processes - so the hard part was figuring out what we needed to do in the system. After working out our roadmap, we built everything out in HRCloud in a matter of a couple of (part-time) days. We went back and forth a couple of times with how-tos and uh-ohs (our side) with their onboarding team and came out clean on the other side.

It's flexible, easy to understand, and PAPERLESS (top of our list). We implemented as fast as was reasonably possible and use it every day in one way or another (we're a small but growing technology business).

Onboarding and support were great. They seem to overdeliver on a regular basis.

Cons

We don't have many gripes. Like most sophisticated software, sometimes you know what you want to do but can't find the right button or link (we learned about it in training but can't recall where). I'm sure they'll optimize it over time, but it's already so good.

Couldn't have asked for a better onboarding solution!

Pros

HR Cloud is super easy to use on the both the admin and user side. We use Onboard for all of our new hires, making it easy to get paperwork completed, share more information about our company, detail first day expectations, etc. I love that we are able to brand and customize the look. The team at HR Cloud is nothing but helpful and makes onboarding headache free!

Cons

The ADP integration had a few bugs at first, but nothing the HR Cloud team couldn't fix once I made them aware. The response I received was immediate. No complaints!

Intuitive product and amazing support

Pros

My client started using HRCloud a little over a year ago and it's definitely improved their HR department's workflow. The Workmates app alone was worth it since they didn't even have a dedicated employee recognition system in place to begin with. The idea of a teamwork/engagement app did a lot more than they expected with regards to boosting morale, and they/I have already recommended it to other people in the industry.

I initially signed them up for a trial just because they needed a better onboarding solution since there was really just a disjointed collection of spreadsheets and paperwork. After toying around with everything a little more it they found it had a lot of other integrated features - ATS, benefits management, background checking, performance management, etc. They don't use even half of the features but it's nice to know they're there if and when they need them. I've been involved at every step and the support has been A+ since we started - I honestly think that's one of the biggest things that keeps us hooked to their products. We were completely overwhelmed when reviewing all the HR software options out there, but so far HR Cloud has been extremely helpful and hasn't given us a reason to look elsewhere.

Cons

It took my client a day or two to get situated with Onboard when we first signed up, but after talking on the phone with the company they walked us through the process. My client was setting everything up on day two and running full-steam on day three. Nothing is perfect, but this is as close as we've gotten when it comes to HRMS. We tried two other systems but we dropped one for being too cluttered, and the other for having underwhelming support during the install process.

If only I implemented HR Cloud sooner....

Pros

I love the work-flow automation (which saves me time) and the fact that everything is compliant (which I assume will save me headache down the road).

As an owner of an agency that is scaling headcount, I really value the out-of-the-box work-flow that HR Cloud enables. For example, onboarding a new employee went from a flimsy Google Doc checklist (that was never up to date and looked pretty unprofessional in retrospect), to a polished looking new hire dashboard that updates automatically to ensure my onboarding process is fully compliant with all the stuff.(e.g. i9 / eVerify).

I also use HR Cloud's "People" app to keep my org chart updated in real-time (which I love) and share team reporting structure and bio info with new hires so they get to know everyone (which helps make the onboarding process much more fluid and friendly which is really important as we have a distributed team).

Cons

When I first started using HR Cloud they didn't have all the integrations that they have today. One example of an integration I wish they had sooner was for an applicant tracking system. I'm eagerly awaiting the launch of their own ATS so I can consolidate my HR tools into one platform.

Pros

The onboarding process involves many groups, has strict legal compliance requirements, and is one of the first ways a new employee experiences the company. HR Cloud allows us to automate these complex processes with full audit tracking and reporting, all while giving our new team members a modern, convenient experience.

Cons

There is no perfect system (if there was, we would all buy it), so you have to invest in defining and maintaining your onboarding processes up front in order for team members to have a good experience. But that is more a function of the business process, not the software.

Search-ability is great when sifting through many people. It's easy to sign people up and our users have had few problems.

Cons

There are too many things to open to get to a document that has been uploaded. It is a lot of clicking to get to one thing.

Clean interface that allows users to navigate between tasks and portals. Portals are neat and clean.

Cons

Difficult to put in forms and tasks. Forms sometimes messes up. Tasks do not integrate with other platforms. Some of the mandatory fields are not needed.

Good, but some room for improvement

Pros

Reduces paper files, employees and administrators can access from anywhere. The onboarding function is great so that employees can have all of the paperwork completed before their first day in the office! Customer service is fantastic when there are issues.

Cons

My company uses HR Cloud for 3 main purposes: performance reviews, PTO requests and onboarding/personnel recordkeeping. Unfortunately, all of these purposes are not on just one platform, so the admin and users have 2 separate platforms with logins to remember. This is extremely cumbersome and I am constantly having to remind my employees which platform to go to for which purpose. Also, the PTO platform does not automatically calculate remaining PTO after a request is made, so I have to keep a separate spreadsheet to track PTO remaining.

We have used Onboard to easily guide multiple new hires through the initial hiring process.

Ability to easily on-board new hires and guide them through the process efficiently.

Pros

We first and foremost like that Onboard keeps us in line from a compliance standpoint, which is extremely important. This program has helped dramatically working with new hires to e-sign documents, creating fillable PDF's and even automating some of those tasks. We have found that Onboard greatly reduces the time that it used to take to get a new hire up to speed.

Cons

It hasn't happened very often, but there have been instances where emails that are generated through the system end up in a new hire's junk folder in their email.

Easily can use the software from anywhere, great customer service, more organized HR because we don't have to worry about storing documents. Ability to on-board quicker because of e-signing forms.

Pros

We have been able to take advantage of the partnership between engagedly and HR Cloud, HR cloud and engagedly made this integration seamless, our employees can get right to their goals without having to log into engagedly from the HR Cloud system. I also love that customer support we get-every question we send is solved usually within 24 hours.

Cons

Time off-I wish I could look specifically at one employee instead of the entire list- but I can sort the list alphabetically.

Quick and Convenient

Pros

My favorite feature of HR Cloud is simply the ease of onboarding. I don't have to wonder how our new hires are doing with their paperwork; I can log in and see their progress for myself. Not having actual papers to potentially lose is another huge plus!

Cons

The only con that I have experienced is that the initial welcome email that is generated by HR Cloud is oftentimes directed to my new employee's junk mail. I combat this by proactively letting them know to check their junk mail for the onboarding welcome email.

Easy to use, fun animations, superior customer service!!!

Pros

This product does exactly what we needed it to do; engage our team with light, fun announcements.

Many of the products we were looking for were just too heavy for what we needed or just too social. Workmates offers a super clean interface. Our team was able to activate their account in one click and there was no training required. It's mobile app is an awesome resource when the team is out of the office or on the go. Simple, fun, easy to use!

Cons

We signed on while Workmates was still in development and working out the links. The customer service team was quick to respond to our feedback and had their development team resolve our problem in days.

Easy, functional, organized

We are way more organized, can collect the proper documentation we need when an employee is starting but also through an employees time with us. It is easy to pull up any document or note we need to reference from anywhere.

Pros

How easy it is to navigate, the ability to process the necessary paperwork to get an employee on boarded, the time off functionality and ability to use balances for our salaried people. How easy it is to reset someones password.

Cons

The password requirements are a bit hard to remember, which is good for security purposes but we have a lot of employees who get locked out of their account.
