No incentive was offered I've been using OnShift Time for over three years. I recently hired a new administrator at one of my buildings and have been unable to add her as an admin in my system. After two weeks of calling, emailing, having one of my support tickets closed because "I hadn't been a customer since 2024", I finally got on the phone with someone who kept telling me that I didn't have any authority to do anything on the account because I wasn't listed as an administrator. I'm the owner of the company, I signed the contract with the OnShift, I've always had full control over my account, and I was staring at my own account with my name listed as the administrator as the tech support person told me over and over again that I would need to be listed as an admin to do anything. Absolutely unreal. I can never recommend this company to anyone after this. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 2/5 - Value for money: 3/5 - Customer support: 1/5 - Functionality: 3/5 #### Pros Integrates well with my payroll software and allows me to easily handle time punches, reimbursements, and PTO. #### Cons Clunky, not intuitive, easy to make a mistake that is difficult to fix and will keep showing its head over and over again even after you thought you fixed it. I would like to see it connected to our time clocks so that we can better track our hours and punches without having to take extra steps. Easy for the employees to access their schedule, as well as pickup shifts when they become available. Although there are a few quirks, overall it is a great tool. #### Cons Administrator functions are limited. It is easy to mass message and get info out quickly. #### Cons The scheduling part of it, the reason we got it, just didnt work for us. It is most valuable when some staff are full-time and some part-time. I used to just print out the schedule and leave it out side my office. Now, every staff member gets alerts and reminders to come in to work. There are no more I forgot or I thought I was scheduled for tomorrow. They are knowledgeable, available, take on extra work to ensure a smooth transition. They were great to work with as we first implemented OnShift, then had a payroll vendor change. They went into the new payroll software for us and actually wrote the report we need to transmit data to and from payroll and Onshift vs. just telling us how to write the report and then test it.
