Adding new employees is seamless and easy. The staff does not need to be "trained" on how to use this app because it is very straight forward. I also like that we can customize what day our week starts on. We utilize the GPS tracking. This is so helpful! Every employee has to have location on when clocking in and out. This way we can see that the employee is clocking in while at the office and clocking out at the correct client's home. New employees are sent an email and text invite so they can get into the app before they even start the first day! This is a big help! The software is extremely affordable which is huge for a small business like us. It helps make payroll seamless. It is nice that we can add notes to keep track of manual clock ins, and which manager was tasked to update this. #### Cons There have been a few times that the app will go down on the staff or it will not load so they are not able to clock out. Overall its good and straightforward. I think all of my thoughts are pretty well explained in the first two responses. Honestly besides having to check the timecard page on the web interface to verify which time was actually logged everything else that I have used has been easy, straightforward, and has worked. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 4/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros It is pretty straightforward and so far it has worked without fail. All scheduling and email verification has worked. I'm not sure what the company pays for the service so I can't attest to the value. So far security doesn't seem to be an issue, but I'm not a penetration tester. So far there haven't been any bugs or major issues. #### Cons My only wish was on the website version after a more recent update it shows the exact time when punching in and punching out and not the time that is logged. You have to go in to your timecard to verify. I like the UI of the app, easy to read #### Cons I wish there was a time for when you punched out, so you can track your lunches accurately. It is very easy to also track where someone is when they clock in and out. #### Cons The interface is a bit outdated. It could feel newer. That is definitely my biggest complaint. The OnTheClock app has never gave me any problems. I would definitely recommend the app. I forgot to mention that the app is completely FREE in your app store on your phone. Below average but for punching in and out is very straight forward and easy to use, however it lacks features, polishing and backend bottlenecks #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Functionality: 1/5 #### Pros Ease of use to punch in and punch out. But that's about the only highlight which might be the main thing you want in a service like this. #### Cons It doesn't show for how long you've punched in, it just tells you the time which i can look on my computer or phone anyways. It also only gives the amount hours worked with decimals rather than also hours and minutes which makes it more tedious trying to calculate the amount of hours you still need to work to complete 8h. No available "calendar grid" view, just a list of dates. A minor annoyances is that when checking pay periods you can "go" into future pay dates that you haven't worked yet, so if I scroll all the way down assuming I will go to the latest date I scroll into the future. Very user friendly and easy to monitor PTO and work hours. Very happy with clear interface. We work in a busy clinic and it's been easy to log-in and be able to clock-in and out without stress. I've used applications in the past that have been overcomplicated or had terrible accuracy. Very user friendly and even when I have forgotten to clock in, my supervisor easily fixed with quick turn around times. #### Cons Possibly that there is no app options? But it could be that I'm not aware of it. We have to close out all of our schedulers to be able to access.
