PCRecruiter is a cloud-based tracking and recruiting solution for Human Resources departments across a range of business verticals, including staffing agencies, PEOs, maintenance and property management. PCRecruiter houses a comprehensive solution for contact management and applicant flow in a central hub. It offers tools to manage requisition submittal, on-line job inquiries and hire logging to customizable candidate assessments and surveys.

Key features include bulk emailing, resume parsing, diversity tracking and document storage. Its Applicant Pipeline feature provides a drag and drop interface that allows moving applicants seamlessly from one stage to the next, automatically following up with form letters and keeping a complete history. The Manager Portal allows for position entry and hiring process monitoring, with email-based requisition approval and customizable templates.

It offers a variety of customizable, searchable forms and lists for data collection with boolean searching to help locate keywords in all documents such as resumes, applications, job descriptions and applicant profiles.

The solution is capable of integrating with Microsoft Outlook, allowing users to access their existing schedules, contacts and emails.

    I have used the biggest and most popular ATS systems in over 10 years as a corporate recruiter in Fortune 500 environments. Now that I am an independent headhunter, I am amazed at how much value and features you can get out of a smaller ATS like PCRecruiter. Some of these include being able to upload information and profile pictures in a few quick steps.

    The most amazing thing about PCR is the tech support. You can call and get an immediate resolution to almost any issue. If it can't be resolved right away they make a point to get it done in the matter of hours, not days and weeks.

    Lastly, the price is right!

    Cons

    There is not much I don't like as the software is very user-friendly. About the only thing is being able to change the color scheme.

    Honestly, this product is stable and consistent, just not real flashy. I think for the right firm PCR can be the right solution but we felt our needs outgrew the product's capability.

    Again, for the right firm, this product is just fine.

    Pros

    PC Recruiter is very easy to use. Quick ramp for new Recruiters with very basic tools, reports, etc.

    Cons

    As easy as the product was to use, we found that PC Recruiter didn't integrate with our HRIS, ADP which became a show-stopper for us.

    Hello Lara - One of PCR's strongest features is actually the ability to customize the fields, screen layouts, and functions to suit. This does, however, sometimes lead to more involved training because every setup is a bit different and each client uses their own fields and layouts rather than a required stock workflow. I'd recommend reaching out to our support team with details on your personalization and change needs. It may be that the options you're seeking are actually there, but just not visible under your particular security settings or not exactly where you're looking for them in the system. PCR is perhaps one of the most configurable recruiting CRMs available, so if you're finding it coming up short on customization we may be able to help further.

    A great less expensive option for high volume recruiting

    Setting up a system like this is always difficult. We found that, with the exception of some custom forms that weren't completed to spec, this system was easy to setup and nice to use.

    Pros

    Once PCRecruiter is setup, it is easy to use. It has many great features, like a memory of what you accessed last, so you don't have to remember which candidates you were working with. If you use the integration with Outlook, most recruiters won't have to use a separate browser. The ability to write custom SQL queries and the smart merge capability of the import process are also very nice.

    Cons

    The interface is a little dated. I believe they are working on updates though.
    If you hire them to create custom forms or applications, it feels like you get a contractor who may not know what they should. Their other support staff are great though.
    The in program email system could use some work. Setting the system up to pass through Office365 exchange servers with a generic email account, didn't work out. We ended up spinning our own exchange server to handle it.

    It is a huge timesaver and is very intuitive.

    Pros

    There are so many features it's hard to pick a few. Being able to add directly from LinkedIn including the picture is a life saver. I use Ring Central and being able to see the caller and the profile open automatically saves time and embarrassment of not knowing the person that is calling. Also, the tech support people are more helpful than any other team I've seen.

    Cons

    I wish the user interface was able to be customized for colors. It is a bit drab. Other than that there is nothing else I would call poor.

    I like the integration and all the features, from recruiting, database, sales, the ability to manage and drive the whole process in one place that makes it very useful to upload information and communicate and track all processes from the client to the applicant, recruiting, sales and it is flexible to be able to support any discipline or industry.

    Cons

    It takes a little while to get used to the system and to learn all the different modules.. it's very robust. Saying that, the support team and training team are very responsive and help so much when I need to learn something knew or if I have support issue it has been resolved quickly 100% of the time. Then entire company that I have spoken with or needed their help has always been responsive and very friendly and easy to work with.

    Use It if you're looking for a system that will help you not only manage applicants but also act as a database for candidates for future use.

    Pros

    The best feature is having social media tools like LinkedIn Chrome feed and job boards integrated in this software.able to view a bulk of activities & interviews at a time. Easy to status candidates through the process, you can set up different position question profiles tied to each position for candidates to complete when submitting their resume.here are automation rules for candidates that can be set up to decline low skilled or highlight highly qualified candidates. Nice time savings feature.The team at PC Recruiter have been extremely responsive to our needs and have been there every step of the way as we configure and deliver their system.

    Cons

    It lacks in intuitive ease. Navigation is a very tricky and sometimes not as intuitive as we would like. There are some short cuts that appear to be missing. The scheduling of follow-ups is not up to standard and does not interface with Outlook well

    Overall a great software, just not for us.

    Pros

    We really liked that we would lose nothing when converting from our old software. It has more functionality than any software any of us has seen. There is a way to virtually do anything recruiting wise.

    Cons

    The screens are packed with data...so much so that it makes it difficult to find what you need. It is not the most intuitive. Finally, it is overwhelming to figure out and it is tough to acclimate new people to the system so it would slow any new people ability to be successful in the short term.

They system needs % placed in front of everything to search even you basic customer, it can not search with in cities, it can not parse in documents with out 10 things that need to be changed, the blinding of resumes only works sometimes, they system is blan, boring, no color, too outdated, it needs updates, it needs color, it needs to hire someone innovative enough to make the system user friendly. it is not user friendly at all

    We recently made the switch to PCRecruiter. I'm really new with the software and have been working in it for about a week now. I am already liking the capabilities of this system. The best feature is having social media tools and job boards integrated in this software. I love being able to view a bulk of activities & interviews at a time. The Help Center is very convenient as well. Love the two minute tutorials. This system is going to be great once we get everything customized exactly how we need it.

    I live on PCR. It's my job. Don't know what I would do with out it.

    Pros

    Customizeability (Is that a word)? You can customize the software pretty easily. For instance I have a field where I can tag someone a "walking placement". Then I can search a city for all of those that I tagged with that term. There is so much you can do.

    Cons

    I am concerned that support for 8 will go away. I've been using the old school version for over a decade and I don't want to learn 9. If I have to I guess I will but would rather keep it old school.

    PCRecruiter has more useful features, such as the LinkedIn parsing feature with pics, than enterprise versions of large ATS products like Taleo. You can keep all your business in one place, including contractors. Interfaces with Quickbooks, but not the online version.

    Pros

    Support team-can make changes or additions to software fairly quickly; customizable; parses from LinkedIn, including picture; cloud-based; can do everything.

    Cons

    It has so much available that it takes time to learn it well. Not much color on the GUI, but still looks nice.
