Designed for small to mid-sized businesses, PeopleHR provides a platform for all key HR functions, including applicant tracking, personnel tracking, performance review, and more. The system includes an employee-tracking database, that allows users to create new employee records, fill in key contact information, and store documents. PeopleHR includes unlimited document storage, so users can attach as much paperwork as necessary to each employee profile.

Within the applicant tracking module of PeopleHR, users can create new job offerings, as well as build out a custom career page that matches the branding of a company’s site. Each job posting can be completely customized. Once a candidate applies, they’re added to the recruitment pipeline, and recruiters can view all candidate information.

Within the performance module, employees can request 360-degree reviews for receiving feedback from peers. Managers can set goals for employees, and track their progress in real time. The web-based solution can also be accessed from anywhere at anytime.

Cons

I have found the mobile app being slow at times, but this may be my phone. I would also like to add the option of lieu time in.

Great service, always responding quickly and usually with the right answer.

Pros

The 24 hour customer support is great, if you encounter a technical issue at any time someone will always be available to assist you and resolve your problem in a timely fashion

The bigest pro for me has to be the ease of use and how quickly I can get things done. Simple things like booking holiday is now a breeze

I did have a small problem with my account where I was receiving emails in error however once email from me to the team and it was sorted.

Ease of use and navigation and settings update. Quite simple for all levels of IT skills. The support has been very good so far.

Cons

system settings could be improved:
- no way to print out the goals section
- cannot tell who has assigned a task 8you don't know who it came from)
- options to delete a task or a goal should be limited to managers and admins only (not employees
- we work with developing countries so languages like Dari, Urdu or others should be available
- sick days should have a limit 8not every country has unlimited sick leave)

Cons

The only thing that I would change is the ability to add bespoke fields to the employee 'personal' record however 2 analysis codes have been introduced as a development of the system so problem solved. Would like to see more of these and to choose where they sit would be ideal.

I don't really have any negatives to say. But I would personally put all job information i.e. salary, job title, reporting line etc. under employment rather than personal.

- Ability to include a multitude of HR functions on Logbook - i.e. 360 reviews

Cons

Areas for development:
• With GDPR coming in, it would be extremely useful for PeopleHR to have retention dates on documents (this would show under the GDPR when we were required to dispose of the data)
• A automated chase for feedback. For example, if we could input the date of an event (i.e. appraisal) onto the individuals calendar, we could then set up automatic chases at specific time periods before the event.
• A look into how training can be better incorporated into the system
• Option for admin to see all employees calendars at once (similar to google calendars)
• A greater focus of customer service via phone – Online chats are good but email is time consuming. It is also helpful for the PeopleHR IT support for them and the company to be able to share screen to resolve problems
• Remove gender option. There is currently only a binary option for gender. Although we can add more through logbook, those who are already classified as male or female cannot be unticked.
• For admin to be able to view 2+ profiles simultaneously
• When refreshing the employee page, for it to not return to the alphabetically ordered current staff view but where you left of. Or, an option to choose in settings
• We have added our appraisal system via logbook. Our appraisals require individuals to refer back to a word/pdf doc. It would be great for our team to be able to access these documents through logbook when completing the appraisal.
• Statistics - feedback is a fundamental part of our business and the ability to analyse, for example, who has completed feedback over a time period would be extremely valuable
• For certain information to delete automatically on the day after an employees leave date. For example, work email.
• For salary updates to automatically calculate the salary per year based on the hours worked for part time staff
• To notify or automatically delete doubles in the ATS section

The team have been really helpful along the way from choosing the system to implementation and on-going support. If I move companies and need to choose a HR system again from scratch I'd definitely consider PeopleHR

Pros

Easy to use, quite self explanatory, videos are quite helpful. Sending our Privacy Notice to all employees to sign has been a great way of getting everyone to read it and be able to run a report of who has/hasn't signed it. Reporting is really good, I like the instant reports and being able to create and save queries to run any time without having to remember what you wanted in the first place

Cons

Individuals can't add lieu time to be authorised by their manager, HR have to do it via a 'work around' so they can request the time off. Sometimes it's hard to explain what you need via the web chat/email, calling is probably better

A really great system, easy to use and great customer service.

Pros

The live chat service is extremely good. So far every time I've used it I obtained helpful answers within the hour and the chat people have been nice and showed care to help. The videos I was sent from the Live chat team were also very useful and succinct. I like the website version, very clear and clean.

Cons

Hopefully, the app will offer some more options in the future such as the different type of days off that can be booked (holiday/lieu...) Also, some features on the app are not too clear, for example, the internal chat between colleagues, I have tried it a couple of times but not even sure the people I texted got the message I sent.

People HR pulled our disparate HR tools from an intranet, spreadsheets and various folders into a single location.
As a SaaS, the value for money is great. The team were very helpful in getting the software set up and it supports most aspects of the business that we run.
There are REST APIs that we are starting to use to allow for anything "non-standard" and these are starting to be used in our organisation.
All in all, it really has helped our business.

Pros

It will cover almost all aspects of HR requirements including timekeeping, holidays, reviews, contracts.
There are some use and "fun" metrics that you can take away about your company from the dashboard.
Line managers receive regular alerts about their teams.
It's a fantastic price for the product.

Cons

Although there is a mobile app, it does need some work.
Timekeeping for employees is flexible, but actually recording time is long-winded.
The UI is simple and straightforward in some areas, but feels a little awkward in others
