Perked! is an employee feedback and people analytics platform designed using organizational psychology and data science.

Through employee engagement and continuous pulse surveys, advanced data analytics and a reporting dashboard, Perked! can help identify strengths and areas for improvement in real time. People decisions are supported with advanced employee demographic segmentation (team, tenure, location, etc.) and topic and text analytics for employee comments. In addition, users can clarify and acknowledge employees’ feedback by responding to their comments while maintaining employee anonymity.

Perked!’s cloud-based platform caters to businesses across various industries, such as technology, manufacturing and banking.

Perked! made our People team more Agile

Our fast growing team had some unexpected turnover. We didn’t know what was causing it and Perked! helped us uncover the root causes. We took the feedback to heart, made some changes and turnover was reduced. Now it’s about not being complacent and continual improvement.

Pros

Three things: ease of setup, gathering and analyzing feedback continuously without taking up me or my team’s time, and awesome customer service.

1. Easy to setup - Perked!’s customer success team did all the grunt work for us from bulk uploading employee list to checking segments sizes for anonymity constraints, and advising us on ways to do segmentation that would help us make better people decisions. By the time we logged onto the platform for the first time it was to start seeing the results.

2. The platform automates asking the right questions at regular intervals (for us we set it to monthly, you can customize it to your needs). They also took care of reminders on Slack + email. My role focused on learning from the results and working with management to make changes. As a growing company, this was critical for us – to be agile to growing pains. One of my favorite features is the Leadership Digests – a regular summary of key takeaways specific for us.

3. We got more than just a software, we had their team supporting our success. If we didn’t know how to do something, we just asked.

Cons

Have more educational materials on how to use the different features the platform has to offer. It can be a lot to absorb at the beginning.

Focusing my time on what matters –> driving action to grow our culture

Focus our limited time and resources on growing our culture in areas that have the most impact for us. Creating transparency and a more nimble way to respond to changes within our team and work environment.

Pros

Incredibly INSIGHTFUL and fully supported by a great team behind the platform. Before Perked!, we used Google Surveys to run an annual employee engagement survey. We would spend a week or more analyzing the results, creating presentations to execs and team leads while doing our best to protect employee anonymity. When we got Perked!, our focus shifted from aggregating and analyzing results to ACTING on the results – collaboratively. Best part for me is that I didn’t have to do any of the tedious work to create presentations, spreadsheets, etc. My time is now much better spent as a subject matter expert and coach working with our exec team to act on the feedback.

Eventually, we started using Perked! to gather feedback more frequently. Now we use it for bi-monthly pulse check-ins and it helps us respond more proactively to issues (without any additional effort needed to run the pulses and analyze the results!). :)

Cons

None that that I can think of. They are constantly working on new tools and ways to make my life easier. Several times already they’ve asked us for what we would like to see more of... and actually delivered.

Perked! is easy to use + people insights are useful and actionable

Helped us manage employee morale in a time of change and be more responsive to issues.

Pros

It was very easy to setup and get started. Mainly because the team at Perked! helped us do most of the setup. As for ongoing management, Perked!'s system automates sending out short pulse surveys to measure engagement and drivers of engagement and collects and brings together interesting insights based on employee feedback. Love the real-time dashboard and different ways you can filter comments, segment results and dissect an issue to understand root cause. It has allowed me and my people team to focus on what matters - action on the feedback and improve employee morale and motivation.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind. Whenever we had any issues, their customer support was quick to respond and resolve.

If you're transitioning from an annual survey, make sure you communicate this change clearly.

Perked! team going above and beyond to respond to our needs

Pros

- User friendly, easy to set-up, intuitive feedback flow
- Our team values having the direct, continuous and anonymous channel of feedback with our leadership team
- Flexibility of the feedback cadence (we adjusted from quarterly to monthly as our team found it useful to get more frequent feedback as we grew quickly)
- I can respond to comments and clarify issues without breaching anonymity.
- Perked! team is really helpful and responsive to our questions, big or small.

Cons

Can’t think of much so far. We had previously suggested to them about expanding time period comparison in the heatmap. I believe they’re working on that now.

Extremely impressed with our overall experience

Perked! focused our team on significant areas of impact for employee engagement. Instead of trying to do a lot of things at once, we were able to set some meaningful goals and measure our impact continuously.

Pros

Intuitive, clean and easy-to-navigate interface for both users (survey/pulses) and administrators (dashboard).

Strong analytics and reporting – easy to understand and to slice and dice into the details.

Love working with their customer service. Quick response and always looking to add value.

Some surprise features that I wasn’t quite convinced of at the beginning, but are now indispensable and much loved by our team. Ask them about Fika!

Cons

Would like to see more integrations, specifically with our HRIS. However, their integration with Slack (Frago) is a good fit for our Slack-addicted teams.
