Pros/Cons

  • Pros

  • It's a user-friendly web-based product. The company has great customer service.

  • The software is very easy use and the vendor provides excellent customer service. Appraisals are easy to build, and the comment suggestions are valued by our supervisory team.

  • Cons

  • We've encountered some minor glitches with the program--nothing major, and, the programmers have been great about making changes that customize the product in terms of our review process.

  • The only con is the finalization process - it would be nice to obtain final signature and not have to go back in to finalize.

  • Pros

  • I've implemented Sapling twice and found it easy to use and with a good CS rep, it'll go smoothly and your questions will be answered quickly. Once everything is set up, it's super easy to use.

  • Love the user interface, it's really intuitive and easy to navigate.

  • Cons

  • There are still some functions that aren't that great; ie. start date change, but Sapling is working on it.

  • There are some features which were not so intuitive, and we had to ask how to do them. But once you know what to do, it is easy to use.
