TSheets Time Tracking & Scheduling Software


TSheets is a cloud-based time tracking solution that helps owners and managers keep track of employees in real-time from their web or mobile applications. It provides mobile time tracking for employees who either work remotely or change locations or jobs regularly. Employees use their own devices, such as smartphones, computers, mobile apps, text messages or landlines to clock in and out. Mobile apps are available for Android and iOS.

TSheets helps users set up overtime alerts for employees, which can help inform managers before overtime starts. Alerts can be sent to employees, administrators or managers via text message, email or Twitter.

TSheets offers labor expense management module that reports labor expenses, including PTO, overtime and regular time.

TSheets also provides customizable filters that help capture the exact timesheet information sorted by employee, project, date, group, job code and payroll period. Pricing is per user per month. Support is provided via knowledge base, phone and email.

TSheets - Time

It is a really beneficial tool to keep up with my time management.

Pros

It has a phone app so I can clock in/out via my phone.
Gives me notifications when to clock out/in or to submit my time.
My Time Card allows me to see the hours that I am on the clock.

Cons

That is has location tracking. It allows supervisor to know where/when I am clocking in/out from.

Really good costumer service

Pros

It's easy to understand, easy to use on the computer or even on the phone. The employees like to use it too. We are saving so much time since we're using it. I recommending it.

New Users

I believe this is going to be a very beneficial tool for our employees. The ease of use is much better than what we have been experiencing. Since TSheets is tied to QuickBooks, I can now process our payroll efficiently. The information that our field employees are able to provide is very clear and easy for me to ensure that our customers are being billed properly.

Pros

We have just started using this with a few of our employees and so far, they are finding it very simple to use. LOVE that it reminds you to clock in or out! This makes payroll run smoothly and efficiently.

Cons

As I said before, we have just started using this program. We have not discovered any issues at this time

I am very happy with Tsheets. super awesome

Pros

It saves me time and keeps me organized. Before Tsheets I was filling out paper log books for each job-site and each employee. this worked for me in the beginning with 3 employees. But I would never be able to grow using this hand written style. I needed a system and Tsheets is way beyond any automated system I could have built. I build houses, not software. you guys have a great system here and it frees up my time to do what I do best.

Cons

It doesn't do all the custom things I might want it to do for my own business. I would want a better way for my guys to track extras by the hour when they are on a specific job-site. Although, now I have created a fake "customer" called extras and it seems to be doing the job. Also, I break my sheets up by job-sites, not customers. I might have different sites for the same customer... but it doesn't really matter the guys just click on the site in the customer category. I also don't link directly to Quick-books yet. I hope this isn't a problem if I ever start doing that. But I don't really want to think about that yet.

Also it is annoying that when I see the sheets for the day. if my employees go to 2 or 3 sites they fill out 2 or 3 sheets. then at the end of the day I have to add up the 3 hours totals in my head before I approve them. No big deal. but it would be nice if I could see the hours for each employee totaled for each day

TSheets - the Best Way to Track Your Time

I've used TSheets for years with no problems. Their customer service team - especially, is always available and ready to help.

Pros

TSheets is a solid, reliable, time tracking tool for both service providers and their clients (who have employees). It has many options, but will also work for those who have very basic time keeping needs.

Cons

I wouldn't say that there's anything I dislike about the software.

TSheets customer support in particular our representative has exceptional product knowledge and resolved my issue the first time I called.

I am thoroughly pleased with TSheets and its support staff.

Its functionality! Its seamless interface with QB's reduces input time and eliminates double entry.

Cons

Used customer support to get some beginner questions answered, one of the rep was great and quickly helped me out

Pros

I'm new to the product but it should be helpful in easily integrating billable hours right into a quickbooks invoice. Hopefully it will also help me out in job tracking, if I do an electrical job for $2000, id like to track how much time I spent on the project, not only the time spent out in the field but trips to the supply house, driving, billing etc.

Cons

It wasn't immediately obvious how Quickbooks Online and Tsheets connected with each other but I'm also a beginner to Quickbooks, entering times in manually and creating 2 separate entries for one job where I took lunch in the middle of the day seems redundant but not really a problem.

I am not a fan that I cannot make special overtime rules. We have multiple department and some rulles do not apply to all.

Pros

Tsheets work great for us. Especially the mobile application, i can submit and approve employee time virtually anywhere. I can quickly edit and share my schedule with my team as well.

Cons

I would suggest that there should be consistency in some settings on user interface. Other than that there is no need for improvement about this software.

Love the Gps tracker, love being able to see who is working. Easy to use, Easy to clock in and out and track hours. Customer service is wonderful. Its easy to modify. So glad we have it.
