Review for Workday

I am using Workday regularly for applying leaves, tracking them, viewing my salary slip, tracking change in compensation, providing IT declaration, updating shift and stand by hours. Also, I have used Workday for requesting various letters from my organization automatically like experience letter, compensation letter, etc. The mail notification feature of workday enables me to receive notification whenever there is an update to my compensation or change in my role or on promotion.

Pros

Workday is a centralized workforce management tool that is used in my organization. In Workday, all the important day to activities of an employee can be performed like applying for leaves, getting them approved by manager, viewing and downloading salary slips, providing IT declaration, providing beneficiary info, address info, education info and many more. Various important letters like Offer letter, experience letter, etc can also be directly requested using Workday. It is a cloud based tool and can be accessed from anywhere.

Cons

It is an expensive tool that can only be used by big enterprises. Also, the workday UI can be confusing for new users who will find it difficult to navigate and find the required sections in workday.

A good tool to track employee performance

Workday is a must for large companies as it makes everything centralized in one single software. From there we are able to fill timesheets, track employee performance, make annual review and much much more.

Pros

There is a lots of options that make workday so powerful. Timesheet tracking, vacation management, goals and performance. Having everything in the same software makes things easier for employees and managers.

Cons

The UI interface of Workday clearly needs to be improved. Even for people who works with complicated software, this tools is very hard to master just because of a bulky UI.

Workday

Workday has been working seamlessly, it is very user friendly and there is plenty of options to keep the employee records straight.

Pros

I like the simplicity of use, most of the options for processing the employee information, onboarding time tracking and payroll is there. I like that we can pre-enter absences and holidays and make corrections if needed.

Cons

Some of the tasks require us to return to main menu as there is no - go back option,

My workday experience

My overall experience is nothing but great. I have no complaints!

Pros

Being able to see my payroll, W-2’s, my schedule, time & attendance as well as being able to take time off all on an app, is something everyone should have access too. It’s amazing how easy it is, I’ve never had an issue with workday and I’ve been using it for 5+ years.

Cons

There isn’t anything I dislike about this app! It’s great.
