Keeps up with your hours so you don't have to.

Pros

Very easy to use. Just type your username and password, hit enter, and you are clocked in. That's it.

Cons

I haven't found much that I don't like with this program.

Ease time keeper

We use Kronos for all hourly and salary staff. Fairly easy to use navigate, and download reports.

Pros

I like that the buttons and features are quick to access and use.

Cons

Not easy to have multiple job codes and switch time. Rules aren't as flexible as they need to be.

Good system that is user friendly!

I'm not really using it to solve problems but have used it as an associate and as a manger but it does work well for the companies needs.

Pros

The system is easy to navigate whether you are on a phone through their app or on the computer.

Cons

There are parameters set by the company using the software and instead of alerting you that you can't do something right away it let's you go through it all before telling you that so you waste time.

Kronos WFR makes job easier

I recommend Kronos WFR to anyone with a large number of employees.

Pros

Kronos WFR has made timekeeping a breeze. My payroll goes so much smoother now that we use Work Force Ready.

Cons

The only complaint I would have is the lag time Kronos Work Force Ready gets about once every week or two. However, i will say Kronos is quick to
respond that they are working on the problem.

Thumbs up for Kronos Workgirce Ready.

Looking forward to discovering more of the benefits of the system. Yesterday we used the SS# verification for the first time and were very excited to see how much time it will save us on the future.

Pros

Love all the ways you can extract data and build reports. Having the data stored in one place has eased our workload.

Cons

The system is very complex so it takes some time to learn how to use features. Still learning and making modifications and we are just approaching the end of year one of service.

KRONOS has been a life saver

My overall experience has been pleasant. We have had very little down time with the software and I have not run into a single problem with my employer about keeping track of the time I have worked.

Pros

The best part about the software is the ability to check in and out from my desk. I love the ease of signing in/out without using the time-clock at my hospital.

Additionally, the functionality of looking at current/previous time schedules to know exactly how much you have worked, how much over-time you are getting, and when paid-time-off is being used is excellent.

Overall the software works as it was intended and I have personally had no issues whatsoever with it.

Cons

I do not have any cons to report on this software.

Accurate and organized

Pros

Very accurate, organized and easy to use when it comes to payroll, timestamps and recording your work hours!

Cons

By now, I haven't found anything that would make Kronos disappoint me and specially, my work flow.

Time Keeping with Hiccups

Pros

The program helps with time keeping and allows payroll to have a digital record. Once you learn the best way to enter your time and the coding, it becomes very easy and straight forward.

Cons

When updates occur it removes functionalities and it took a patch through our IT department to fix the issue. May be confusing how to find the actual time card function as a new user as there's no clear instruction or direction provided.

Too Much Flexibility

Better communication and opportunities for training would go a long way!

Pros

I love that Kronos has the ability to be all-encompassing for our needs. Time and data, labor reports, staffing etc. It has a really great modern design so it’s visually appealing to users.

Cons

Kronos is designed to be expensive. We are consistently paying more for build out help or reaching out to support. There are multiple ways to access nearly everything and if something changes, you don’t know about it until it suddenly stops working or creates a payroll issue.

Review of Kronos Workforce Ready

Pros

Exceptional customer service support and updates! Great resources through Kronos Community. The notification that pops up once logged into Kronos is very helpful and provides relevant important information and reminders. Love how easy it is to create, edit, and share reports.

Cons

No major complaints. I suggest to continue to work on improving Workforce Ready so tasks can be completed with fewer clicks and less navigation. Another improvement would be to remove the current requirement to submit payroll two days before the payroll date. When a holiday falls somewhere within the week, it can become difficult and a bit of a time crunch to try to submit payroll in time. If you could change the requirement to submitting payroll one day before the payroll date, it would greatly help.

Kronos

Overall Kronos does the job but it’s not an easy or enjoyable experience using the program

Pros

There is not anything in particular about Kronos that I like, I mostly feel neutral about this program as it is slightly frustrating to use however at the end of the day it does do the kob

Cons

Kronos is not user friendly, is difficult for data entry and glitches if you do not full understand how to use to program

Updates in real time

Pros

The accuracy of having everything updated in real-time is worth getting a system alone. That allow employees to manage your own time keeping

Cons

It's not very user-friendly. That could be because it has so many options, the options are great but it's difficult to maneuver around

Robust Tool Can Be tough to Navigate

Pros

Kronos handles all of my time keeping needs and is generally very user friendly for the simple things like submitting timecards.

Cons

The biggest issue I have is understanding how to manually change time categories (standard, holiday, PTO, etc), it can be very confusing and generally I defer to those who received actual training.

Convenient but not the most user friendly

Pros

Definitely a powerful tool, gives you access to lots of reports on demand. Team members can easily view their schedules from their mobile device once posted.

Cons

Not the most intuitive interface, takes some getting used to. Schedule adjustments don’t always post right away.

A bit clunky

Pros

I think a few years and updates from now, Kronos will be really slick. It has the beginnings of efficiency.

Cons

Overall, the look is rather outdated. The hit boxes for buttons are a bit off.

Straightforward and easy to use.

Pros

I like that it is available via phone punch and card reader. I will say that I prefer the card reader though.

Cons

The phone system can sometimes be cumbersome and hard to remember how to use, especially when logging different types of punches.

Kronos- Ascension

Pros

We use this payroll system at Ascension Health. Works well with punching in as a time clock system for hourly employees

Cons

Wish the punch in was done by when you sign in and out of computer. Difficult to cancel staff pto time if they change days off. Schedule on phones should have different color scenes or dots for differentiating pto and holiday

Great Tracking and Reporting Capabiltis

Pros

The best thing about this is the accuracy of time tracking for labor hours. Biggest benefit is the ability to pull the Kronos data into extracts to be tied to labor and performance reports, which makes Kronos reporting on productivity very easy.

Cons

The only con about this product is that it relies on employee accuracy on sign ins to avoid manual entry of hours.

Feels like I'm back in the '90s

Pros

I use the Kronos time and attendance system at work, and I'm really digging deep here to find something I like about this... The software works and does its job (i.e., keeps track of work/vacation days through my timecard, functions as an online application for applying for vacation days).

Cons

The look-and-feel of the user interface is straight out of the '90s (e.g., information/ data overload on the webpage, tiny buttons, windows that cannot be resized for easy readability).

The information is not updated real-time. If I check my vacation balance right after applying for some vacation and getting an automated approval alert, my balance still shows up as unchanged and the days for which I applied vacation still show up as I'm working.
