A straightforward process!
The onboarding process has been very simple and straightforward. I wish more companies used this product!
CONSI didn't have any issue with the software. The only very minor downside is that they added a document to my process and I had no notification to let me know.

Great solution for simplifying remote working & borderless EOR hiring
Overall, I can recommend WorkMotion as a great remote working solution, and to hire the best talent from almost any country worldwide without the need for a local entity.
PROSI used WorkMotion to relocate from Germany to Malta and keep working remotely for my German employer. The process of switching from a German contract to a Maltese contract was easy and straightforward.WorkMotion works with a local EOR partner in Malta to ensure that everything is done according to local employment laws, whilst also ensuring that company policies from the host (where the local laws permit) are maintained. WorkMotion also offers country-based employment guides for an overview of local employment laws and legislation.
CONSUnfortunately, the communication regarding the new employment contract as well as local labor rules and regulations was inefficient and slow. This delayed the onboarding process. The issue was that there are many entities involved in the communication process including the hired employee, WorkMotion's onboarding specialist, the hosting company, and the local partner in the country of employment. Answers regarding specific questions were also ambiguous and required further clarification, which further delayed the onboarding process. This is an area that needs improvement.

With WorkMotion's WorkDirect, you have a serious risk of not actually getting your staff paid
For two months I have been trying to get staff paid with WorkDirect service. It is not possible to get staff paid so far and I get no response or solution from Workmotion CS team. Their CS would like to however "capture sentiment of our collaboration and align on future goals" but not so critical to get my staff paid.
PROSThe WorkDirect model is a differentiator why we chose WorkMotion. We use another - more reliable - platform for classical EOR.
CONS1. Customer service does not actually help to onboard your staff. If you get contracts signed and all info needed for the staff, they literally do not do anything to help you, they just leave things lie as is. 2. Customer service does not answer at all. Only way to get answers is to escalate. 3. End result, your staff will be not getting paid in time with WorkMotion's WorkDirect (I have not used their other service but considering points 1. and 2. above I will certainly not try them).

All employees hired through WorkDirect have an account on our platform and are welcome to reach out to us anytime whenever help is needed throughout their employment journey. However, WorkDirect also requires a higher degree of involvement and effort compared to WorkGlobal/EOR model which allows more flexibility and company branding. As for delayed replies, we're now using a system that handles all requests within a certain SLA as per urgencies. So going forward, this process will definitely get quicker and smoother. Easy usability, great Customer Service - functionalities need improvements
So far it is a great tool & service we enjoy to use. Although some features are missing it helps us to make our international growth possible and easier.
PROSThe platform of WorkMotion is easy to use and helps us build a great connected remote-team in no time. It especially takes a lot of administrative work of the shoulders of HR departments and helps to make the process & statues visible with a well managed dashboard.
CONSSome features & functionalities are still missing to make the process more visible for all stakeholders.

Easy global employment
WorkMotion helped us in getting up to 10 employees on board in 8 different countries within 2 months and is key in our future internationalization strategy.
PROSEasy to use software, it does not take longer than 10 minutes to input new employees. I really appreciate the current status shown on the dashboard, which is something not all providers have. Also all relevant documents are uploaded and fully transparent process of invoicing. Account Management team is doing a great job and keeping up communication fully transparent, both to us and our future employees.
CONSSome processes with their partners need to be improved and speed up. Customer service is really helpful. I guess they need some more talents to support, as they are growing rapidly.
