Zoho Recruit is a web-based recruiting solution for small to mid-sized businesses. The software's comprehensive applicant tracking system (ATS) includes resume parsing, automated job board posting, customized company careers pages, resume storage, and interview scheduling. Zoho's offerings include multiple specialized applications created to help users collaborate with their peers to increase productivity.

Zoho Recruit enhances the visibility of company job openings by creating a customized career webpage of the company and extend the reach by using popular job boards, social media sites, and direct sourcing. The career page developed by the software lists every job opening with complete descriptions and accepts applications for multiple job openings. The solution provides a candidate login where candidates can set up their user profiles and apply for multiple jobs.

Zoho Recruit integrates with Google applications, such as Google Calendar, to save time and forego repetitive data entry. The software is available free with limited features and the upgraded versions are available on a per month subscription basis.

Where to start. Customer service is all off shore, and hard to use. The system is so slow. Tasks list are a huge pain. Triggers hard to set up, and organization is not that easy.

It seems to have a good applicant tracking system. It seems to have above average posting abilities. The price was in line with others.

Cons

I really did not care for the other functions of the software. I did not care for resume handling. It just does not work for our firm. Seems to be better for a non-old school firm.

This product has a very low cost only per user per month. Other than that, there is no other reason to recommend this product.

Cons

The free job sites that they post ads to are sites no one has heard of. The reporting is inaccurate and though several attempts were made over the course of months, customer service has yet to resolve. Overall this is one of the worst Applicant Tracking Systems I have ever come across.

The price!! I was able to get an extension on the trial so I had a free month free but the price is perfect for small business owners. This is super easy to use. I use it for candidate entry and it's a seamless process. There are other ATS software that have more options but Zoho offers plenty for what I use it for!!

The price is the reason I went with Zoho. It seems like they offer a lot, but charge you for every single program you use.

For the cost of the enterprise level you can find a much better system with better support.

It’s a very basic system.

Cons

There is no implementation specialist to assist in getting the system started or learning the features of the system. Most ATS supporters provide some sort of training on how to use the system. Zoho does not provide that. All support is off-shores and extremely difficult to get a response from in a timely manner.

I strongly urge you to give Zoho a try - you won't be disappointed. And don't let the price fool you - they pack a lot of punch into this product.

Pros

Incredible value for the money. Competes with the best ATS systems on the market and beats them! Easy to use, massive customization options, impressive functions. Lots of integrations with other Zoho products and other awesome extensions.

Cons

The only thing I find missing is one report to show bounced emails. That's the only issue for our team. Other than that...it's all good.

I have not had one single technical issue. That's a HUGE PLUS! I have used and evaluated several of the big recruiting platforms. I'm super impressed with Zoho!

Pros

I love the low price - we have just one user and needed an easy-to-use solution to store resumes, interview notes, sources etc. I can only speak to using it for hundreds of resumes (which I do), versus thousands. I'm not sure how it would perform then. There are a lot more features to use - like tracking job requirements. They have a lot of customizable features (that you do yourself).

Cons

There are a lot of reporting options but it's not quite as intuitive to use as I'd like. I need to work with it more.

Great choice especially for smaller recruiting firm and without having to spend a lot of money to get a fully functional system to meet your needs.

Pros

After spending more money on another applicant tracking system (ATS) I regret not using Zoho sooner. Zoho Recruit has an excellent resume parsing system for resume and easier to manage than even other more expensive ATS systems. The software also picks up the important skill sets listed on the resume without you having to enter it. The pricing is extremely reasonable for a smaller business. I can spend $ a year or $ a month for the standard version. It also integrates easily with Indeed.com if you would like to find potential candidates (you still need an Indeed membership). Their customer service team is very responsive.

Cons

I would like the software to more easily integrate with other web content such as copying contact information from websites.

We are a recent startup Recruitment Company that selected Zoho for ATS and CRM purposes after reviewing numerous other software options. With the introduction of numerous Cloud products, we quickly established that a wide number of options in the market are extremely rigid with a lack of customisation. If you're willing to get your hands dirty (which we are), you're able to really bespoke the system to your recruitment needs. Of course there are some functionality limitations which could be made better however the customisation is much more extensive then other demos we have gone through.

From a CRM perspective for our needs, it ticks all the boxes and from a Recruitment Agency perspective it does a good job of Parsing multiple CV's and has allowed us to setup numerous reports and forecast stages. Overall it does the trick for a startup and growing company who are ultimately looking at their cashflow within the first few years however there are areas we have been informed are on the roadmap which they need to make happen.

Customer Support has been extremely good.

Pros

- Customisation Options in terms of Field/Layout Management
- CV Parsing
- App - Smart Device App is really nice
- Searching / Reporting Capabilities
- Standard functionality is better than others in the market

Cons

- Lack of Radius Search from a Candidate perspective which isn't ideal when searching for candidates near a certain location
- Lack of Office365 Outlook Integration (this is on the roadmap however isn't ideal)
- Skilling / Capabilities is my largest bugbear as it isn't as intuitive as other options from a recruitment perspective
- Some rigid functionality where you can't remove and edit certain fields.
- No Linkedin stripping functionality

Advice to Others

If you're a recruiter who is happy to put some leg work in with setting up the system for your needs than it will be the product for you however if you're not as tech savvy and need the features above from the off, you may face some frustrations.

However, if you have a well established market, know your niche and just need something to host profiles and do basic searches then it will do the trick.

I love the dashboard on this application, it keeps a great overview of interviews, adverts and all details of those candidates who have applied, all in one place.

Cons

You have to remember to get your naming of jobs right because there is limited space within the display of the dashboard and if you are recruiting for a number of jobs it can be a little confusing. But once you have the naming criteria sorted it works well.

Pros

Although it looks a little different from all other recruiting software (at least ones I'm used too) the home page is very easy to use as is the search function. By far one of the must robust recruiting platform I have come across. Simple interface with maximum capabilities.

Cons

Price could be slightly lower but I do think it is worth the cost in general. I could piece together smaller platforms for less but the integration of capabilities makes it worth it!

I like the instant dashboard creation with different views. Customized view is very good to use. Also, I Liked the classic view.

Cons

Yet to see one. I find this software very good. I faced some issues because of my local network connectivity or else no cons.

Pros

Its so easy to use, navigation around zoho recruit was simple and easy to upload data on to. I like the candidate files especially.

Cons

I found my lease favorite thing about zoho recruit is you can not easily personalise or taylor the programme to your own business

Complete and Convenient Application Tracking System for a small startup. this is definitely a very good one. I recommend to try out this zoho recruit software. Itz definitely worth trying

some of the features that I would like use are still under construction. for example, to have employers to log into the system and view the profiles of shortlisted candidates.

it is involving for Zoho recruit system to be customized further by creating more modules. I think if your recruitment involves a lot of industries you may have to create more modules to accommodate what you do

Cons

The Parsing tool is not that great when It comes to LinkedIn. If we try to click the parsing button. Itz copying only very limited lines, and we will have to type in the rest which is a little annoying. We will have to get a separate parsing tool for the parsing.
