It's integration is awesome with other tools. The best feature of this product is source control management like GitHub and other version control tools.

It is a very good IDE which is easy to use and easy fix errors. I recommend it for all software and web applications.

This is a great free IDE which has great community support. It works great with WAMP on windows, and the debugger is easy to use.

I have unfortunately enough been forced to learn through Netbeans and can honestly advise any willing soul to listen not to install it.

Real time code checking frequently fails leaving red or yellow underlining for non-existent (or fixed) problems.

East to understand the UI, has a lot of options and debugging code on it is awesome, autocomplete and loving having the console on the same window.

Sometimes it sows us notifications of errors which have been resolved already which is a bit annoying.

What I love about Apache's NetBeans is that it makes it easy to write simple or complex code using any programming language.

The ability to have NetBeans insert and write code for you is very nice. I also appreciate the error notifications that it gives with suggestions to fix it and also sometimes fixing it for you.

The software has a lot of rich programming features (the debugger and error highlighters) and they all come without a price.

This is the only editor that I used in Java programming that has a contemporary/modern interface and allows easy DB/SQL integration too.

There is no minus point about Apache NetBeans. The only problem I have is that it takes some time to respond when I debug.

Need high performance PC to run this tool without any lagging. Other than that there's no negative point.

It is a good Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for Java, PHP and many other programming languages. Its syntax highlighter is pretty good.

Great Tool for PHP developement. JavaScript, HTML and most of other syntaxes works also great.

First thing I dislike about this software is the amount of RAM that is required to run this IDE.

Support for this app is terrible compared to other IDEs.

Despite the fact that it is open-source, NetBeans seems very powerful like a proprietary product when I use it.

Also, as the users community is smaller, you will find less forums to support you in case of problems.

All things considered, it's a useful free product if you don't have high demands and budget it's fine.

But here some issues I had with NetBeans. It is uncomfortable to use some libraries in NetBeans.

Have some shortcuts to complete java codes segment (System.out.println). User Interface is very interactive and very easy to use.

For startups and learners community edition may be a good choice and after successful, they can opt-in for Ultimate Edition for enterprise functionality.

As a Java developer this IDE is my all-time favorite. I highly suggest the paid version which adds many cool features, but even the community edition is so powerful and pleasing to the eye.

I dislike importing from the git. It is very hard to find space as all your projects can easily get mixed into one another.

Using IntelliJ for automation has been wonderful. Even the free version has great power.

If you want to work with language like Scala, you will need this kind of robust, powerful editor. It does it's job perfectly.

As an IDE which is not resource hungry and has good community support this helps a lot for developers and their workflows.

Periodically need to reinstall it due to failure of plugins. The software just fails to start and then need to remove plugin directory, install everything again etc.

It integrates perfectly with Android and supports Kotlin out of the box.

On top of this, it provides a clean and customizable interface that helps immensely during the coding process.

Great supportive team and there are developer communities which we can get the help if we have any issues.

My overall experience with IntelliJ has been great thus far. I find it's one of if not the better Java IDE around, easy to use, and covers everything needed.

Its very good Compiler for java and it even have very good discounts for students and other people too.

Time to load the project when having multiple components is bit considerable which could be ignored when compared to its functionalities.

Autocompletes are just amazing and make development very easy and exploratory. Debugging is very easy and straightforward.

It provides amazing intelligent features that suggest and helps in completing development tasks. It also provides many useful plugin features, debugging features and version control integration.

Sometimes the updates are very large and sometimes it requires you to install everything again. Other than these minor issues, I haven't found anything much that I dislike.

I like that this software makes it very easy for me to code in Java. The UI is very friendly and it is like Pycharm but for Java.

It was a little confusing at the beginning but it includes a tutorial so you can learn how to use it there.

Ease of use, extensive list of plugins (will likely cover everything you need), supports other languages besides Java, community support is great when needed.

I would recommend using this software if one needs faster and seamless development and the company is ready to pay money for it.
