Infusionsoft is a cloud-based sales and marketing solution that offers customer relationship management (CRM), marketing automation and e-commerce functionalities in a suite. It helps small businesses across various industries deliver sales volumes and customer service experiences.

Users can segment their contacts, track customer interactions, send emails and run campaigns setting triggers for personalized communications based on email opens, clicks and more. Users can also manage their e-commerce, from inventory management to payments and purchase fulfillment, set up online shopping carts, track activity in their digital storefront, send quotes, invoices and receipts.

Infusionsoft’s reporting and analytics tools help users do analysis on parameters like emails, campaign performance, sales and revenue projections to track the ROI of their sales and marketing activities. I waiver on switching. There are many new apps coming out. The price will come down.

Pros

If you know what you're doing, it's a powerhouse. I've worked with it for 4 years and am still learning, I'm not a techy but my business required this type of automation to grow it. No regrets at all! Best Customer Service.

Cons

Surprises me that there aren't more font options. They continue to upgrade & beta test but there won't be tutuorials.
Their capacity to host mp4 is limited so I still need another app(Leadpages) to integrate.
The price!!!

It is a tool of great functions that has allowed us to use base and sustenance to each advance that we give in our management of work and in general in each business that we carry out. Both customers and we can observe personal information, this way we have relevant data about the person with whom we want to work. With Infusionsoft we have managed to improve the quality of our project and with this the experience that the clients have with us, in this way we make sure that they feel satisfied every time they need to resort to our work.

Pros

It is ideal to work, comfortable, easy and fast. From the beginning it has always been simple to use, they provide demos and quality training to understand all the steps required for its proper use. It automates work, it coordinates excellently the emails with correct redirection, the labeling is ideal for the correct organization of the groups and thus differentiate the groups of people to whom I direct my messages and correspondences. It's incredible, all in one.

Cons

It is a daily and exponential learning curve. I have not presented major inconveniences until now. Complete tools and adequate functionality.
The customer service has been there when I need it, answers them to each of my doubts and resolves any problems that may arise.

A Scammy Business that Uses Tricks Against Customers

Shady business practices. There are other businesses that provide superior solutions at a similar price point.

Pros

Their product fell short of what they promised us it could do. However, it was at least able to get 50% done, rather than the 100% they guaranteed.

Cons

Terrible contract. They lie and misguide you to purchase their services, overpromising and underdelivering. The worst part is terminating. For most companies you submit an email or secure message and the deed is done. Here, I had to hound them for 3 weeks, dispute charges, and deal with a massive headache. Avoid at all costs.

It has incredible power for certain industries and applications. Knowledge and consulting companies as well as service companies can create impressive customer centric automated communication interfaces. It's particularly well suited for building out applications that can be deployed across industries.

Cons

It's sufficiently complicated that most users need a strong development team or contractor to build it out and maintain it. The biggest problem we encountered was having the product change after investing in a massive build out. The changes required rebuilding the entire application to work with the new architecture. That's when we abandoned the product.

We had a couple of minor snags when integrating our email list from another vendor into Infusionsoft. Still, this could have been due to the previous organization's formatting. Regardless it was quickly resolved.

Ability to plan out campaigns for any length of time and variation. Great real time reports on many activities in your sphere.

Cons

It takes a while to get it set up and you will need their free coaching to understand it all. That being said, the coaching was amazing and they dedicate quite a bit of time making sure you are good to go.

I imagine that the metrics they use to help gauge the effectiveness of campaigns would have been helpful if there was actually any return on my investment.

Cons

Glitchy landing page software. Sub-par customer service. Requires a "university" to try to figure out how to make it work.

I am sorry to hear that you did not get your investment in Infusionsoft; however, in looking at your ticket history, it sounds like you decided to work with a consultant who did not wish to use Infusionsoft for campaigns, and this was over a year ago. Furthermore, we have ample onboarding services available for customers and the “university” is just a supplement to your training – which you declined. I am sorry you were unable to give Infusionsoft a try. Our customer service teams are typically applauded for providing stellar coaching services and, once users take a bit of time to learn the software, like any full-service platform, they are so happy with how easy it is to use.

If you're filthy rich and can afford all the integrations you'll need, this becomes the best system there is... If you're just normal rich, only own two ferarris, skip this and go with something cheaper so you don't end up pawniing your cars and house for this.

Pros

Integration with everything, i'm surprised it doesn't control nest systems for hvac in people's homes.. Almost every saas product goes with it

The integrations do all the heavy lifting to raise a crm that is being left in the dust by pipedrive and salesflare and the new crowd of innovators

Infusionsoft has done an excellent job in building a very interactive, user-friendly platform for small businesses. Since a recent update to the platform, the system has become far more streamlined and simple to enter data quick and efficiently without any hassle. This is especially helpful for our sales team, as they are easily able to update a contact while they are on the phone to them, which keeps our data up-to-date at all times. The functionality to be able to invoice and email the invoice directly from the Infusionsoft database is an extremely helpful tool. It enables us to collect payment right away from our customers and has majorly reduced our accounts receivables.

Cons

The only thing we have found to be a disadvantage, is the fact that the system can be somewhat slow on our network and doesn't always work at the speed we would like it to.

The visualization method for building processes allows business continuity and flow between marketing and sales, something which can be built upon over time. It should enhance the development of better leads and cut down on a lot of the administrative front-end work in these areas, so that by the time a trigger notifies sales of a lead(through the tagging system), it is prequalified. Through utilizing the effective processes, companies can help drive attendance and actionable next steps in the process. It's ease of use and startup-up efforts can help companies get these programs launched quickly and effectively.

For long term scalability and increased business complexity, companies may seek solutions with AI driven apps or more sophisticated modeling capabilities.

Pros

Infusionsoft is a decent CRM for the price point and functionality. They enable the user to create internal forms for online submission, create campaigns, and, automate your sales pipeline pretty well for someone with zero experience in coding/programming. The customer service 24/7 live chat was phenomenal.

Cons

A lot of clicking and dragging and repitive actions requires to get it setup initially. There aren’t email integration widgets such as sales force or other CRM programs have. Was spending way too much time working on the software rather than in the CRM.

Support is quick and helpful. So glad it’s such a dependable software always making improvements or showing me how to do a work around if needed. I love the Call In support and that my VA and I can use it easily.

Pros

InfusionSoft makes my online marketing easier with preserving emails to my contact time zone, presenting campaigns, cloning prior email Funnels, and keeping record of Opens and Opt-Outs so I can gauge what emails work and which ones don’t. Integrate shopping card and websfoema for free downloads are great marketing tools.

Cons

There is a learning curve, but so is learning how to drive a stick shift to go at high speeds. I like to travel fast with online work straight to the customer so I learned it and still call Support when needed.

While it isn't a system like Salesforce, for a small business that would like something more powerful than a basic CRM without breaking the bank this is a solid choice. You can get setup up fairly quickly.

Cons

The overall experience has been quite enlightening on how process flows are vital to making your business function correctly. My application is primarily used as a lead management system and not all our employees use InfusionSoft, which meant I had to integrate InfusionSoft with Google Sheets which makes it easier for my sales team to acquire data to leads as they come in. Most of my time is spent in campaign builder and I am currently overhauling our current lead process and I keep learning new things everyday on how to program logic to suit our business needs.

Pros

What I like most about InfusionSoft is the functionality and its endless possibilities. The Campaign Builder has an easy to use interface with limitless possibilities that can be constructed to suit your unique business needs. With a great email builder as well to create those beautiful calls to action that will surely ignite your leads' desire to buy whatever you are selling. I specifically manage the database of leads and users and find it to be quite user friendly, InfusionSoft will warn you about an increase in bad email addresses, allowing you enough time to clean it up before it affects your business badly. Another great aspect is the help provided by agents via the Chat facility, you can chat live with an InfusionSoft assistant to help you with any problems you might have. I find it extremely helpful in times when I am unsure of what to do.

Cons

While I do have high praise for the campaign builder and its limitless possibilities, this can also be a problem as when I first started using the software; I didn't know what was what. There is basic training available, but I don't feel it adequately explains the possibilities of what can be done. To fully unlock the potential of InfusionSoft, some additional training will be required.

The ability to automate hours of manual labor has saved me so much time and has grown my business. I use infusionsoft on my course offering website and have built a funnel with multiple upsells as well as incorporate an evergreen webinar series. This has increased my earnings by 25% in the first 90 days and I expect it to continue to grow. Infusionsoft has been a game changer for me and how I conduct my business and manage my website subscribers.

Cons

It takes a lot of time and practice, testing and tweaking to figure it out. May need to partner with a company to take some of the learning curve edge off initially.

It's been great. This was my introductory CRM/sales software. We were well set up to use it as a CRM and I learned SO much from it. Industry standard tool for marketing and sales that offers a lot of transferable knowledge to other mid-tier systems. Have recommended and will continue to recommend it.

Pros

Excellent contact database management options and search capabilities. Easy to pull as specific of a list as possible after a good set up.
Simple, easy-to-use email broadcast system.
Email campaigns have good functionality and are easy to operate within.

Cons

They are built for and serve mostly medium to small sized companies. We recently outgrew them because of our contact base.
Anyone who sends a lot of emails (1 mill+/month) will be in the second to the top tier of their subscription.
It's not super user-friendly or intuitive. Takes an experimental mind or a lot of training to break the Infusionsoft code.

It is very, very expensive. And it is so complicated it's daunting to even get started. I even had sequences given to me and it was still too complicated. I wasted a lot of money on this product.

Cons

It does not remind me that I have not entered a note after I toured them, so if I get to enter info, it does not remind me. With hundreds of customers, a few have slipped past without notes.

Infusionsoft allows anyone to jump in and setup their first funnels. It's fast, easy to use, visually appealing, and flexible. You can use it for ANYTHING - webinars, sales funnels, lead magnets, sales teams, anything. Super super flexible.

Cons

It seems like Infusionsoft is leaning in on their small business solution idea. Once you reach a certain number of emails in a month the price starts to climb quickly and at a certain point you get flagged as high volume. You then have your price increased again.

Our experience has been very challenging. Thanks to InfusionSoft, we are now able to send automatic messages to our customers when they purchase a product. Unfortunately, our customers also have received receipts for past purchases that looked like possible identity theft, and have had their cards automatically charged multiple times for the same product based on a setting checked (or not checked) in a campaign or the system by IFS staff. We have also had multiple consultants not respond to our email questions, and were charged by IFS when they said they would remove a charge. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. I would definitely not choose this product for our organization if I could go back and do it again.

Pros

The promises made by the salesperson, the kickstart consultant, the data transfer team and the customer service specialists that this software would help us immensely. We do like the ability to automate responses to emails and follow up with clients.

Cons

The constant and enormous mistakes made by InfusionSoft staff, including a data transfer error that generated over a thousand receipts for past purchases made with our organization (which made our customers believe they had been hacked), and a situation when they charged a customer's card over and over automatically, so that customer was charged $21,000 over Thanksgiving weekend.

We have had to purchase many add on pieces of software to make the IFS software work and of course, we were unaware of all the extra costs we would incur making this work.

We have also been frustrated by the lack of response of some Infusionsoft staff to both email and phone messages. This has happened to our Office Manager, our Board President, our Training Director, and myself.

Good option for entrepreneurial businesses who want a one-stop suite for digital marketing/ecommerce needs.

Pros

Infusionsoft is an extremely robust suite of marketing tools. As a digital marketing consultant, I've used it with several clients. It does everything: marketing automation, ecommerce, email marketing, conversion funnels, CRM, and more. It allows you to get a granular look at your business and manage everyting in one place. It's a great option for many entrepreneurial businesses and start-ups.

Cons

Infusionsoft has an incredibly steep learning curve. It's not always super intuitive and takes time to get to know the ins and outs. Still, you can accomplish a tremendous amount with it once you get to know it.

Overall I would say my experience has been positive and it helped our business grow exponentially.

Pros

I used this piece of software from when it was originally started. The small business database space was very weak then and infusionsoft was a leader back in the late 2000's. I like the way they integrated so many different features into one platform. This made performance for the small business was able to increase exponentially

Cons

The recent update have made the software a bit less user friendly and I think its now a bit too cumbersome to use in comaprison to the original. I have brought staff into my business who have found the software not easy to use.

It does get the job done and we understand it has many features. It's just not simple, user friendly or even intuitive to how this system works. It takes a lot of work, a lot of chats with customer service and sometimes you still walk away not knowing what you did to make it work. The pricing is quite high and we are not a fan of the new pricing structure.

Pros

The software has some amazing features if you take the time to learn it. The eblasts look great. The reporting features are nice as well as the ability to tag your contacts.

Cons

It is very difficult to learn. There are so many different rules and situations. There have been quite a few times we have done a huge campaign to only realize it never went out when scheduled because one little thing wasn't connected. And there are quite a few things to connect. The system never notified us it wasn't set up properly and just didn't send. They just changed the prices and it's now more expensive than it used to be for the same features. It takes many hours to set up a campaign and is quite time consuming. It is very pricey. I understand it's a system with many features but it's so complex to learn all of those features and you don't utilize them all. We can only have one user login since it costs too much to add an additional person for our small business

Pretty good! There have been a few quirks and moments of frustration but for the most part it's been good. Customer service has always been good.

Pros

It's really easy to set up a campaign and use for marketing purposes

Cons

It was really hard - and required a third party company to assist us - to integrate with our EHR sysytem.
