ADP Vantage HCM is an on-premises human capital management (HCM) solution suitable for large organizations with more than one thousand employees. ADP Vantage offers integrated tools to manage recruiting, talent management, time management, payroll and employee onboarding.

ADP Vantage enables hiring managers to gain complete visibility of their recruitment drives and hire best of the talents available. The solution helps in designing and sharing the onboarding plans with the new hires, managers and their buddies. The built-in talent management tools help to sync employee performance with the company goals. Managers can set monthly and annual goals against which they can measure their employee's performance and address the performance gaps.

Pros

Best product on the market. I have used in several companies and it will always be my go to. Ease of use, excellent reports, customization as well, great customer service and support.

Cons

Tutorials are rather lengthy and should get to the point. Can be hard to find a specific tutorial. Once found they are generally helpful.

Reliable, easy to use, mobile friendly. The fingerprint feature is an added bonus. Anytime, where you don't have to remember a password is a win-win. The way it allows taxpayers to import their data into tax software is GREAT!!!!

Cons

I have not qualms with the application. It's a bit on the pricey side. The free trial will no doubt pull a person in.

Pros

ADP is super easy to use. I just log in every 2 weeks to do payroll, and bamm with a couple clicks it is done. I also have confidence that all of my tax and other things I don't want to think about are covered and taken care of. I can also easily edit it with a breeze. Also so many new features coming out that I can't wait to try, Also a great customer service where you get a representative and they are there to help with anything your need

Cons

I really don't know what else I would ask for in a payroll system. I would like to not have to download the reports to see them every time I want to see them, and maybe when I do download then they could be labeled with dates rather than right now they all have exactly the same name.

The interface was extremely easy to navigate and was intuitive. You didn't have to have a degree to use it because it just required some common sense.

Cons

Kind of expensive but worth it. I feel like it could have been a little more helpful with password recovery rather than just locking people out.

If the app features that are shown were all working it would be great!!

Pros

The system is fairly easy to use to identify paycheck information on the desktop version. I like getting an alert about my pay amount in the app.

Cons

The app doesn’t provide much info beyond pay, it doesn’t show paid time off accumulations or requested time off which would be nice. The desktop version is not intuitive, you have to hunt and peck to find what you need.

ADP back dashboard is very good to work with because it explains everything and breaks down all we need to see and organizes into different categories which makes life easier!

Cons

The only complaint I have is their customer service. Had a very nasty interchange with a Representative because they were very rude when our account got locked. But somehow we managed to get everything back on track.

I love using ADP to get my paystubs, it's super easy. When you go to the site you can tell them what you want to see and it will direct you to the right log in. So if you say "See paystubs" it will direct you to the page you need and you just log in and it's all there!

Cons

nothing yet! This is the first time I've logged in since I started this job and it was super easy to see and print my stubs!

I love the fingerprint touch feature as well as being able to access your account anytime or anywhere.

Cons

At times the software does not load quick enough. Time punches can be easily be duplicated accidentally when trying to punch in or out.

It enables you to easily enter the hours one has worked for a particular day, you can track your available vacation and sick days. This platform is rock solid, easy to use and the print out one receives after each paycheck is easily understandable.
That is the reason why most employers in the US use it!!!

Cons

I have nothing negative to say about this application, I have used other applications for time keeping, like Mihi. It makes you appreciate the ease of use ADP offers...

There are really no cons I have with this product. The only exposure I have is using it to log hours. Besides that I have minimal exposure, but from an employee using it its easy and straight forward.

I like that ADP shows what you made at past and present jobs. I like the scale that ADP has to break down how much you took home, how much you paid on taxes and what was paid overtime.

Cons

I do not like how hard it was to create an account with ADP, I felt like I had to go through three different things before actually creating my account. I also do not like how difficult it is to create a new password when forgetting your previous one.

ADP is one of many human resource software solutions that I have used. It provides access to all HR functions in one place, allowing employees to manager PTO, required documents, pay statements etc. The one stop solution is very beneficial.

Cons

The solution is not very intuitive and takes awhile to figure out how to navigate. While this is not the end of the world, it can be frustrating for new users.

My experience is good. I’m a compensation analyst and refer to employee information in Vantage every day.

Pros

This software seems very user-friendly and combines a lot of employee data in one place.

Cons

It may be the configuration of the program with my employer, but the reporting functions seem really limited. The program spits out data and does nothing else. It’d be nice if there were a little more complexity to the offering.

You can tell that ADP doesn't care much about this product based on its quality alone - market share is enough to squash any competition. The buggy and unintuitive interface borders on embarrassing.

Thankfully I don't have to interact with this software more than once a month.

System is visually nice and user friendly. After working in payroll for a very long time I was surprised to see some options not available for such a large company that smaller payroll software companies were able to accomplish. As far as straight forward payroll processing, benefits etc it works well.

Pros

The system has good function and ideally can work well with users as the dashboard is quite user friendly. It can take some time to get use to and learn but when using integrated functions it can server quite useful. There are great measures taken for security which is good but at the same time can be frustrating when admin users have to log in many times everyday. Reports are robust and fairly easy to navigate.

Cons

Many of the integrated functions can cause issues with one another. Unfortunately being so big there are many departments that handle different items and it seems that some departments always seem to say they cant speak to something even though they should know how the integration of one function impacts the area they work in. Still not big on extreme customization this has not changed from when I used them many years ago. Big business as one would think.

My overall experience after more than a year of trying to use this antiquated, kludged up POS is that it must be horrendously cheap for anyone to actually decide to switch to it.

Pros

There's nothing to like. This is the most non-intuitive worthless application I've ever had the misfortune of using.

Cons

Where to start? It's slow, it's convoluted, it's completely non intuitive, it glitches for no apparent reason, functions (and I use the term loosely) get randomly locked out at different levels, the defaults originally installed are ridiculous, I could go on and on. This is what happens when you think you're too big to fail. Get it together Carlos or your competitors are going to eat your lunch even worse than they are now.

I wish the UX was better, but ultimately, the software does what is intended, ie process payroll, time off, see benefits and have these things communicated to me via my employer.

Pros

It shows me my benefits, pay stubs and allows me to report time off.

Cons

It is clunky and not intuitive to use. There are very basic tasks that I need to do as a user (request time off, look at pay stubs) and each require multiple clicks that often take me to menus that don't allow me to complete the task I want to. Improving the UX would help tremendously.

Limitations of the application such as customization, interfaces development to fit the requirements. The team usually suggests to go for a higher enterprise version in order to cover remaining requirements. Initial cost is high.

It is a tremendous stress factor daily.

Pros

Nothing. The implementation was a failure and now that a new team is in place to correct the process and make it both field and recruiter friendly, the rep refuses to partner with the current department head because of an usual alliance with the individual who was demoted from that role.

Cons

It is absolutely not recruiter friendly and the "Technical Product Consultant I" refuses to partner with the new team leadership on how we can smooth out our process and customize functionality to align with the new process on the ATS side of the product.

There was a steep learning curve for our managers, but ultimately we were able to get everything up and running smoothly.
