Identified Recruit by Workday is a cloud-based recruiting solution designed for midsize and large sized companies. It offers candidate messaging, social media data and screening functionalities within a suite.

Identified Recruit offers with a pool of candidate data sourced from social media profiles. The product also features keyword search, which allows users to pull the list of prospects based on their current organization, designation, skill set and location. Once a candidate is found, the recruiter can qualify them and add them to the messaging queue. After the list of prospects is completed, users run campaigns from within the system.

Workday is a great HR tool. You have payroll, time off requests, team info, direct deposit management, benefits, tax elections and more all in one place!

Cons

The only major con for my team is that my leader and I don’t have the same visibility into our team members time off requests, which makes colloborating on the schedule slightly inconvenient.

Five stars to this software for it's engaging, easy to navigate and user friendly interface. All the information that you need already accessible in just a few clicks away. And the best thing is that they also have a mobile version for our convenience.

Pros

I've been using workday in the office for quite some time now and I love how their software looks. You can upload your photo and customize your name. It is a software that usually deals with your information and HR concerns. The software is also helpful in looking for jobs requisition within the company, it can also help you check some employee profile, send messages across the management, check your benefits and it also shows your work history. it is an easy to use platform inside and outside the four corners of the office.

Cons

I have nothing bad to say but then the software resets easily. It is better if they'll just remove it because it is time consuming and a bit annoying if they'll log you out and you have to sign in again. It is time consuming to do those simple tasks again instead of continuously picking up what work you've left of.

Cons

I often found myself confused about where to go to complete tasks or find documents. I found myself clicking in a circle, ending back at the home screen , and ultimately using my inbox as the way to find anything. Maybe I just wasn’t paying enough attention, but it seems like it shouldn’t be so hard for the occasional user to find what they need

Once you logged in successfully it is really easy to use. Their new graphical user interface also is very modern and mobile friendly.

Cons

The biggest issue of this software is the authentication part. If you have multiple emails it would be a headache to have one account with all of them. Also, on mobile app I experienced lots of failures.

The whole eco-system was great but I really liked the ability to incorporate feedback (from multiple stakeholders) into the reviews process as desired.

Cons

Certain inter-dependencies at times made it difficult to leverage all features - for example you need to implement WD- Recruiting to leverage certain functionality about internal posting, etc. Also, the timing of the upgrades can be challenging but I dont see a way around that since all users are on the same instance/version of the product. Really though they its a great product that is listening to its customers.

This is a very powerful cloud based HCM that i have ever seen, they also have a mobile app which employees can use from anywhere. Large companies would definitely benefit from Workday.

Cons

More user friendly - terminology and UX required. Basic task like generating a report for the team absence for each dates is difficult, make this all simpler and easy to understand and you have a clear winner!

The software is easy to use, very modern, no second guessing where to go to enter and view anything. It's very convenient to be able to view, save as PDF or email paycheck slips to myself from within the software and their app is just as modern and user friendly. Even the PDF's download very quickly on my mobile!

Pros

Easy to understand and navigate, paycheck slips are easily divided out and labeled clearly and efficiently, love that I can email them to myself and save as PDFs and that I can log in and make changes anytime and they are saved immediately

Cons

At first the paycheck slips were very difficult to read. There is a lot of information on them and the way they are divided out was a bit overwhelming to understand. However, now that I understand the info on them they are getting easier to read but I would still like to see a cleaner look

Payroll and benefits for Workday are awesome. Really makes life easier than previous platforms I've worked in.

Cons

They're trying too hard to fit things that don't fit. Like many products it seems like they want to be a single source end all be all platform. They did a great job on payroll and benefits but aren't doing as great in other HR/accounting platforms because they're squeezing them into something it wasn't made for. They seem to constantly improve but it would be better if they did the additional features right, as they did with earlier features, or not at all.

Immediacy for feedback among employees and employers. Great for goal setting and meeting compensation planning. You can create time specific goals with tons of space for descriptions and comments. We would be lost without Workday.

Pros

Workday is incredibly easy to use - we use it frequently on my work team where we can set yearly goals to meet our annual compensation planning targets. You can set it up for your management team to receive notifications when goals are edited and completed, which makes discussions and comments immediate for feedback.

Cons

It's interface is a little clunky at times and when you edit goals you have to be careful to make sure the right one is selected, because sometimes it will change to another one if you change screens.

Overall the site is messy in my opinion and I find that I don't use it unless I have to.

Pros

You can update your personal and team goals in one centralized location. It also keeps a log of all past goals. You can update the status of your goals and keep track of each one by adding notes.

Cons

I am not a fan of the overall display of the website. Navigation seems a bit clunky and disorganized. The "Goals with Activity Stream" view on the main page is overwhelming to look at, and it's awkward to have such a large table of information thrown at you as soon as you enter the site. I click into "My Goals" and it displays the same messy info organized in a different way. Seems a bit redundant.

I use this fo my time card and it is great. It is really easy to enter your time card and submit it for approval. It is nice to be able to see my pay checks on my phone with app.

Cons

I don't like when I view my whole paystub on the app it gives me a notification online that I viewed the paystub on the app. I think it is dumb that they don't realize that it is me both times checking it.

Most smoothest product i have used in Human Resources. This product has all the key points you require and user friendliness makes it more valuable to customers like us who look for products which can simplify their work and reduce the time waste while running payroll; handling grievances; or taking care of employee data. But it does need a lot of knowledge transfer from the seniors who knows Workday better.

Cons

Well it's a commercial product like Oracle and SAP and i would consider it is one of the best by far as it is on cloud so i don't have any cons for it you just need to have a really good internet connection.

I like that I can log on anytime/anywhere to see how many days off I have. I don't have to rely on a phone call to HR. Having this information easily accessible helps me plan my days away from the office.

Pros

Workday Benefits is straightforward. Our office uses many workday products so benefits is just part of an entire package. It is easy for someone not super familiar with the HR side to figure out current and future benefits.

Cons

If you are not familiar with Workday, the little "appletts" take some getting used to.

This web-based system is great - we have found it to be easy to use, easy to deploy, and users rarely complain about how it works. The ability to link payroll, HR, benefits, and employee time off is really nice and allows better reporting.

Pros

This is a great system to replace your benefit and payroll employee reporting solutions. The menus are intuitive and all of the users are able to get the information they need, input their time off requests, and manage the annual performance goals with ease.

Cons

The transition to Workday was fairly simple, but it caused much confusion with the users as we had overlapping systems for a short period of time. Sometimes the user interface can be confusing, but that might be how it was implemented by the HR team.
