Planable Software


 

Planable is a cloud-based social media collaboration and approval solution that caters to media agencies, freelancers and marketing teams. Key features include automated publishing, content management, multi-account management, multi-user collaboration and post scheduling. Supported social media platforms include Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.

Planable allows users to create content for multiple pages and adapt them to different social media platforms separately. The solution enables users to drag and drop media files in their posts and add emojis, active hashtags, page tags and Giphy integrations to their content. Users can also schedule their posts for predefined time slots. Posts can be categorized according to topic, purpose or campaign.

Additionally, Planable features one-click approvals, a notifications engine and a shared space for users and clients to collaborate on posts. Services are offered on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Support is offered via online live chat and through an online help desk.

It eases my social management business.

Pros

As part of my work I manage the social media accounts of a number of businesses. Planable eases my work as I can set each business in different workspace and schedule my posts. I can add members to these workspaces, but I must approve their posts. And everything is very easy to work with!

Cons

I can use it just for Facebook, for now. I would love when other Social Media are added.

Overall my experience has been positive and would recommend this if you are a small company that wants to stream line your SM.

Pros

It's easy to use and it works.

It's dead simple, which is exactly what I wanted because while I love to be on social media, creating content and managing it can be a bit of a hassle. This helps me, and my team get organized and have posts run automatically.

Also, I really like the feature of having separate accounts. Though we are not a SM management agency, can see this being a giant win for those that do offer that service.

Cons

Not a lot of bad things about the app itself. I had a bit of a rocky start getting set up with all of our accounts, but I started pretty early on in their development. Since the initial on boarding, I haven't experienced anything a foul.

Cons

Not much! Planable is a great tool and a lot of people I know who use it love it.

I don't miss Hootsuite. I was fortunate to get the AppSumo deal of lifetime of Premium membership. I like the interface over Hootsuite, it seems cleaner and more modern. The multiple views that you can see your scheduled posts is very handy. If you are looking to move away from Hootsuite, you might give this one a try.

Pros

I have multiple businesses that I maintain social media for. With planable, I can set up each one in my account (a workspace is one set of social media accounts). So business A is 1 workspace with its own Facebook and Twitter feed. Business B is another workspace. You can have team members who are set up to write posts but they won't be published till they are approved. You see exactly how the post will look before its ever published.

Cons

Limited to Facebook (pages , groups & personal), Twitter and Linkedin posting. Instagram posting is coming (via an app) but hasn't arrived yet because of Instagram app review freeze. Would love to see more social media options available.

LOVE that I can add my VA to the account to take care of posts. There's the ability for us to comment on any posts that are created. It's made life SO much easier than using an excel spreadsheet. The posts are added and look just as they would in my social media account.

Cons

This is not something that is their fault, but I sure do wish we could schedule posts to instagram. I think every app is missing that ability right now.

What I like the most is that it is simple and the design is beautiful. You can also create teams for specific brand or client and it can help you organize all the media and resources.

Cons

No Instagram scheduling and lacking at the analytics features. Other than that it's really good.

I really liked how easy it was to schedule into my posts and also share on multiple platforms. It also makes it super easy when you are working with a client to be able to have them approve the posts before they move forward on actually posting on the platform.

Cons

I really did not like the lack of features. I have found that manually posting has actually helped me get better results as opposed as using a third party platform.

Simple platform to schedule social media posts

Pros

I love how planable has made the scheduling a process so simple and love the Design aspect of the platform. It easy helps us schedule post from a single platform which is a plus for a remote team like us.

Cons

There is no con in the platform but I had some issues due to the changes made in Facebook, Other than that. I am satisfied by using this platform.

This is a great tool if you need to align your ideas for social media with your clients. It simply makes storytelling easier and better synchronized.

It helps you can schedule posts and comes in handy with multiuser feature. To have a comprehensive strategy for social media and brand management never was so fun and effective. Since the interaction with your clients is there all the time, the storytelling is empowered. Consistency in online presence is key nowadays, and Planable helps you achieve that.
You can create teams for every client or brand, have everything (about every social media) visually organized and everyone (team members and clients) can comment and suggest about every detail before any post is published. That is great!

Cons

The whole process about scheduling and posting gets a little complicated at time. It would benefit with a little UX shake.

A better UI compared to Hootsuite and a different approach when working with clients brands. They can approve or edit the content prior to publishing it with ease.

Pros

I like the UI and how easy is to schedule and post content to social media channels for the clients and for our brands.

Cons

They don't have Instagram scheduling and posting yet. And they miss some social media channels like Pinterest or Google Plus.

If you need to work as a team for social media posting, Planable is the app to go!

Pros

Planable is unique in the market to allow "collaboration" of social media posting. A team can collaborate on the creation of social media posts directly within the app with realistic previews. No need to pass the copy back and forth using email/google docs.

Cons

Only simple posts are allowed for Facebook posting (no mutliple images/carousel/video/etc.). Sometimes, the schedule posts just got missed.

Whilst I use other tools for my own business to automatite social media planning, Planable is the tool I always recommend to new clients as the free versions offers so much value that it mostly covers all their wishes already.

Cons

It saves me time (which is money) and improves my relationship with my clients as I'm able to deliver better results in less time. Also, it helps you avoid miscommunications that tend to rise in long email chains.

With this app, they can comment, aprove or decline with a couple of clicks so everything is transparent, upfront and clear. You can have all the team in there, so everybody is up-to-speed with the latest feedbacks from the client.

Pros

It allows you to improve the communications and review/approval times with your clients. You will be able to show them and schedule social media posts within the platform, were the client will have the capabilities to comment, approve or decline the posts. Just this will save you a chain of 100 emails.

Also, you can schedule them right away, so you kill 2 birds with one stone.

Cons

Nothing, it's a really neat app. Give it a try if you are having issues with approvals, long email conversations that take you nowhere, or don't know a way to show the posts in a simple way.

It's really visual and user-friendly, so even the non-techie clients will be able to use it without any hassle.

very good application easy to use with a beautiful interface and very comfortable.
Planable is ideal for managing social networks where it shows us an excellent calendar view to manage these.
It offers us a large amount of tools where we can choose what to publish and when to do it, it gives us a preview of how the publications will look in a way to give more confidence and allows us to collect information as comments from the publications.

Cons

The publication process can be complicated when you start using Planable. since an approval process is required for the publications and it can seem a tedious process to us sometimes.

Collaborating between different members of a project is extremely simple with Planable and it feels like you are basically in a meeting room with the teammates. Kudos for that!

Cons

There needs to be more features in the dashboard such as advanced analytics. Some features also need a cleanup to be more user friendly.
