ChiroFusion is a cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) solution designed for chiropractors to help them manage key clinical activities such as scheduling, reporting and billing.

ChiroFusion EHR offers integrated practice management features that allow practitioners to schedule and manage patient appointments, send appointment reminders to both doctors and patients, create reports and bill patients for medical services. Appointments can be booked, confirmed, rescheduled or canceled via an email or text message, allowing clinics to track daily bookings, no-shows and cancellations.

ChiroFusion allows clinics to create SOAP compliant notes, submit claims to insurance companies and process payments electronically. Medical documents and clinical records are automatically backed up in an online repository in real time. A self-service portal allows patients to check in using an iPad or tablet, submit their medical history, access prescriptions, pay bills and more.

It is available for a monthly subscription and support is offered via online webinars, phone and email.

Love the interface and the processing of everything.
Easy to use.
In the beginning the tech support was amazing.

Cons

Too slow
Really slow. Pulling up the billing tab takes about 2 minutes. This isn't my internet because anywhere I go it's soooooo slow. I've wasted hours waiting for pages to load. When it does it kicks me out and I need to relogin and start over.
Intake forms don't integrate fully.
Nothing is included for the price (text reminders, intake forms, support, POS)
For a package of a month, I don't even get support.
I realized for about 100 less a month I can get way more features and free tech support. Definitely, don't want to switch since I love the interface but ChiroFusion is expensive and slow.
Wished there was a better way to keep track of specific adjustments. (membership discount, family etc.)

This software is a good purchase and reasonable price for a chiropractic clinic.

Pros

It is Not two separate programs for billing and documentation. The customer service is outstanding. The program is easy to use. They do take advice so I expect that the cons I have now will disappear in the future.

Cons

I have to type in differential diagnoses and there are not many options for long-term and short-term goals so I have to type these in if I want to be more specific.
They are not accepting new clients for their billing.

I have an upper cervical practice. I believe ChiroFusion is built great for a full spine chiropractor, but with no ability to save or customize templates in the objective findings, there are downfalls for UC chiropractors.

Pros

Simple and easy to learn and implement into practice.
Customer support is always helpful.
Can submit insurance claims electronically or print HCFA forms.
Small, monthly fee
SOAP notes are easy and quick to write and save

Cons

No customizable templates
Cannot add orthopedic examinations in examination section (you have a list of exams to choose from and document)

Chirofusion is great for cash practices and startup companies. It was very useful and the support was great however if you have more of an insurance and PI based office, the software becomes more difficult to use with billing and you have basically a set SOAP note with not much room to change anything. All of your notes are pretty much the same.

Pros

Support was great and they would call you back fairly quickly and do what they can to help in any situation.

Cons

Even though they are willing to help, there was not always a solution to your issue. Billing was often an issue especially with Office Alley. Office Alley wouldn't always input the electronic EOBs correctly cause us to have to input ourselves to correct the mistakes.

We are still going through training but the training process has been very helpful and has made implementation much smoother.

Pros

I like the ease of use, the customer service is top notch. So far so good, much much better than my last software.

Cons

Not being able to use the same email for a family or a child is a little frustrating. But that’s a pretty minor thing that may be solved with an update hopefully.

Cons

There are some things I have suggested to make it easier in terms of billing. However, they are willing to listen and actually took notes on things I asked for and are looking into adding features I asked for.

We have just added chirofusion to our practice. Since starting our training our chirofusion rep, , has done an excellent job explaining all of the ins and outs of the software. It has been very easy to pick up and we are excited to integrate it into our practice.

Cons

There is currently no online scheduler but we have been told that will be changing soon. We are looking forward to that new feature.

Being so new to ChiroFusion, I can't really say much. The basics though is that I like that it is less costly than my previous system and does the same, if not more, functions.

Pros

So far, the staff has been very helpful in the process of getting started. I am just beginning to input information to make the transition to ChiroFusion, but I feel that once I get the hang of it and stop depending on my old system it will all go smoothly. I also like that they send out email appointment reminders to all my patients.

Cons

At the moment, it is that I can't input new patients without adding their birthday and gender which forces me to look up that information in my old system to do the initial transfer, but I know in the long run it will end up being a good thing that.

Especially if you are sharing notes with other providers. These fields are often mandatory in all EHR's for proper identification of patients. Hope that helps!

The only data that is transferable from one system to another, regardless of the system, is demographic info. The change to Chirofusion has been great and the customer support has been much better than with our previous EMR. We have not gotten set up to file electronically yet, but I believe it will be much easier than our previous software.

Pros

The software is easy to use for documentation and billing. The text reminder for patient visits is helpful and patient's like it.

Cons

There are a few quirky issues with posting payments on the billing side. There could be a little more customization of some of the lists.

We started with Chirofusion in October of 2015 with the launch of the site. The site was helpful for a new practice with no onsite billing staff. The growth and improvements made since then has made this a rockstar of Chiro EHR! The billing and A/R section is designed to flow well from start to finish. We were able to free our practice of a billing company that costs a lot of money for minimal work.

Pros

We just started our online intake forms. You guys continue to rock at chiro EHR! Thanks for keeping our overhead low by creating a great software! No extra staff needed and cuts down on computer time. I spend more time treating!

Cons

There are time of the day that the site runs sluggish.

ChiroFusion streamlines my practice by making the EHR and billing sides of my business flow seamlessly.

Pros

Very intuitive and easy to use. It is nice that I can access the software from anywhere because it is cloud based. Also, for a doctor starting a new practice it has been very cost effective.

Cons

I have only had a short time with the software and have yet to find anything that I am unhappy with.

I love the software. I was coming into this from paper claims and chart notes. Getting existing patients into the system is an ongoing process, but its not as difficult as my staff thought it would be.

Pros

As a new user and new to EHR, having the training sessions with someone who knows what they're doing is invaluable. In 4 sessions, my staff and I were ready to run the practice with this new software.

Cons

Again as a new user and new to EHR, it would have been nice to have one last follow up training session after we had started using the software. We were able to find all of our answers through the self help section of the site, but it would have been faster to have one follow up training session after using the software for a week or two.

ChiroFusion is straightforward and offers everything that I wanted in an EHR. I have been able to navigate the software without guidance easily and so with more training I know it will be a breeze! You can tell that this program was well thought through in its design and was created by a chiropractor. I love that the clearinghouse for my billing is attached and doesn't cost me any extra.

Cons

I haven't used it long enough to know what I like the least...but I can say that as a chiropractor just starting out and being the only doctor in my practice the pricing is good, but I really wish that text message reminders were included in the smaller package. I do not require the DC pro for my size practice as I am the only one even using the system and given that most people communicate via text now I feel that it should be part of every package that ChiroFusion has.

There is a cost associated with every text that is transmitted and the nominal amount we charge for texts, helps cover that cost. The system flows nicely. It is user friendly. Very well organized and complete from beginning to end. I really like the self help content. I have used other practice management software in the past and this one is the best.

I wish more "free" training was available for the billing aspect - all new to me.
