About Cloud EPC


Cloud EPC is a cloud-based project management tool suitable for large and midsize businesses in engineering, procurement and construction. Key features include cost management, change management, progress and performance measurement, environmental health and safety (EHS) management, project reporting and business intelligence tools.

Cloud EPC allows users to create projects with configurable templates, track progress using a percentage tool, via quantities installed or with checkboxes, and view real-time updates sent through a dedicated mobile app. Budget analysis and allocation tools are also provided, as well as data import and export in Excel format.

Change management features include approval forms, configurable workflows and change logs. Cloud EPC calculates the impact of changes on project budgets and automatically updates the master budget table upon change approval. Traceable audit trails, cost forecasting and integration with other systems help users to manage costs.

Pricing is per user per year. Support is provided through online documentation.

Quality product with a world class support team

Pros

Ability to produce nearly instant analysis of project level and enterprise data. CloudEPC has given our company great insight to metrics and analysis that was previously very cumbersome utilizing multiple spreadsheets. We now have the ability to generate the data we need in an easy to read format without the manipulation of information from multiple sources. We are now seeing trends as they emerge and have the ability to identify the cause, take corrective measures where needed, and capitalize on opportunities in near real time.

Cons

The CloudEPC team has been very willing and able to support and train our employees as we migrated into this system. The biggest challenge has been training and developing our employees to use the system to its fullest extent.

I am the system administrator for Cloud EPC. I highly recommend the program, it is solid.

Cloud has streamlined my job. It is a great system to be using.

Pros

I have had the pleasure of being a part of Cloud's roll out into our company from the early stages. It is an elegant solution to cost and quantity tracking. I have been using Cloud daily for almost a year now and feel confident in the data it outputs for my job.

Cons

I don't have negative complaints about Cloud, it is a solid system. When there is a bug the development team is quick to get it resolved and patched in. One hiccup I've noticed is when you are on a slower internet speed the load times are prolonged, but that is more of a location issue and not Cloud EPC.

This has been one of the simplest tools to implement with our field teams.

reporting functionality and instant trends, graphs and charts.

Pros

User friendly and ease of use for field representatives. Implementation was performed remotely with minimal disruptions to regular duties.

Cons

There was some confusion as to which app was for the EHS application versus the Project Controls application.

Very user friendly and works great for overall project management

The best software out in the market to support project management.

Pros

Ability to track and review project costs and schedules according to any number of filters you can think of. Cloud EPC is project management made easy.
