SimplyBook.me is a cloud-based scheduling solution designed for service businesses in multiple industries. It provides a booking site so that users can accept online bookings, collect client feedback to optimize revenue and service performance and send email and SMS appointment reminders to both service providers and clients.

The tool allows users to send out promotions, set up recurring services, link service providers or select services and customize options for the booking site. Customization includes adding the booking system as an iFrame or adding a booking button to a website or Facebook page.

Clients can access the booking page from multiple devices, make bookings and can cancel bookings when required.

Service providers can synchronize their personal google or outlook calendars to their SimplyBook.me booking calendar. The solution provides booking widgets for Facebook, WordPress and other CMS systems. Pricing is based on a number of bookings and number of chosen custom features.

Dealbreaker, clients are unable to book our services from their mobile phones, go ahead and try this link from your mobile phone, can't scroll past 1st service.

WAITING more than a week to hear back from Simplybook's Developers as apparently they are they only people that can optimize the HTML for mobile bookings. Will be leaving Simplybook and looking for new booking site that can actually take bookings. You can only see 1 service out of our 16 services! Bad HTML code!

Pros

can send text notifications to clients but only those who take the time book our services from their desktop computer since mobile bookings DO NOT work!

Cons

Clients CAN NOT BOOK APPTS FROM THEIR MOBILE PHONES! Unbelievable that Simplybook.me is rated the #1 booking app?!!

This is such a class-act program to use for anyone that is in sales and service and even education. All the price plans, even the free plan has enough of the fabulous features this software has to offer to get you going. And if you make an annual payment you get 2 months free. You cannot beat that deal. I highly recommend this software to anyone that needs a richly feature appointment scheduler.

Pros

What I love about this software is it's commitment to security, its choice of payment processing and the ability to book from any device. Plus it has a lot of custom features that cater to many different facets of business.

Our experience with Simplybook.me was a great one, and it was a major player in our determining a game plan on moving all our scheduling systems online.

Pros

Simplybook.me was a great service around the board, when our organization decided to move some scheduling systems online. The thing I liked most was the cost effectiveness that of the service, which enabled us to try the service out and make an informed decision as to whether or not online scheduling was the right fit for us.

Cons

Although customer support was quick and always able to correct any issues we experienced, the thing I liked the least was having to contact customer support. A lot of times, the grammar in support emails and chat was so poor that it required several attempts to understand what they were trying to say.

As a solo entrepreneur and working Mum, I really didn't want to become a slave to my phone. Thanks to SimplyBook.me, clients can book their own appointments, make payments, etc. freeing up time for both family and other more hands-on work commitments.

Pros

The booking website looks smart, uncluttered and very professional and can easily be personalised to suit your branding.

Cons

It's not as easy to use as I would have liked but then I'm a little technologically challenged. It's not instantly obvious where to find various features either but this is a minor quibble.

I like that instead of just being a scheduling app that you can install on your website, with this service it actually is the webpage, which saves the trouble of making a new site for a small business endeavor. This is a perfect little tool to give my massage clients so they can schedule online and I don't have to keep stopping what I'm doing to see if I'll be available when they want me.

Cons

This product does not come with all the options that more expensive booking softwares do, like group bookings, merging, etc. however for $10/month it does the job.

The service has a powerful API that has documentation that is good enough to get you up and going with an implementation. It has some bugs and has poor technical support. The pricing model is very scalable if you have lots of people that need to have calendars/scheduling that don't necessarily use the scheduling capacity (provided by the API) in your application (they charge per booking not per calendar). The nail in the coffin for us it the lack of HIPAA compliance for the API. Their sales page touts HIPAA compliance but this is not possible if you are using the API and this is not stated anywhere. Your team could spend time and money encrypting all your data yourself before it gets to Simplybook.me's servers but it just makes it painful to use compared to other services out there that offer this out of the box.

Pros

They have a very wide set of features for users that are using their scheduling interface. The API seems to be quite robust as well handling many of the core scheduling features in it.

The pricing is based on features and number of bookings which is very scalable for our use case that has lots of people that require a calendar but may never use the booking features that are provided by this integration.

Cons

They claim that their product is HIPAA compliant. However, turning on the HIPAA compliant features shuts down access to their API, which is the only thing we are using them for.

Their API support is very poor. Most of the time they just say they cannot help and their answers are very abrupt and unhelpful answers most of the time (you have to keep nagging to get a decent response). There are bugs here and there in the API. The documentation for their API, though large, is incomplete and lacks thorough/clear explanations and neglects things like how call backs work etc.

It looks like their feature set is growing but the API capacity is not.

Despite the drawbacks it is a very competent comprehensive system that allows you to quickly build a very clean looking site.

Pros

Ease of set-up, free trial to get configuration correct

Cons

Inflexible web page and menu selection without purchasing another custom feature, some custom features should really be inclusive (like classes vs services), the calendar booking is not very clear on a mobile phone if there are different types of classes for the same day, setting up memberships to discount / zero price a class booking is very clunky (you have to set up a service category and have client choose the category instead of the backend working out the client has a membership and applying the appropriate discount to the service cost)

I've been searching for a tool to offer online bookings with the option to charge them directly. The tool is easy to handle an has enough options to personalize it. It's not perfect in all points, but regarding to the fee they charge the best solution I found.

Pros

Easy setup with a lot of features and a working payment integration from scratch
Good support (chat) and a free month to test all the features which was very helpful
very fair pricing models
really good translation into german (both customer and administration sites)

Cons

The data sent to Google Analytics for tracking the page didn't fit with the visits recorded on the site itself, so I don't really unterstand the way the customers are tracked (or not)
Integration with Stripe unfortunately offers only CC payment in the basis form (needs API otherwise) - was hoping to get some more commen payment methods for Germany.

Fast to set up, secure to use and just workes. It really that simple.

Pros

Just a few clicks and I have a font with a booking system to jump start my company. It is so easy simple and innovative. I just love that how simply it took to set it up. Just select the template and you are up and running.A completely different admin and user URL help me in testing the features. My client can choose the time slab they want to set up a meeting. Its really simplify my workload and relation with my client. Accept payment for a meeting? sure this is another feature that impressed me. UI and admin panel is OK, user experience is avarage.

Cons

When trying to test I found sometime Reservation is not responding and I have to clear my browser cache or reopen the window again.
