Google Meet Software

Google Meet is a video conferencing app. It is the business-oriented version of Google's Hangouts platform and is suitable for businesses of all sizes. The solution enables users to make video calls with up to 30 users per high-definition video meeting.

The app allows users to join pre-scheduled meetings from calendar events, choose a link, enter meeting code and even dial in from their phones if the invitation includes a phone number. Google Meet integrates with G Suite versions of Google Calendar and Gmail and shows the complete list of participants and scheduled meetings. It shows a "join" button for users to connect to the meeting and provides options to mute and turn off the video during the meeting.

Google Meet allows users to dial in phone numbers to access meetings, thus enabling users with slow or no internet connection to call in. However, dial-in numbers are only available to the G Suite enterprise edition customers.

Pros

I really like that as a group we can collaborate from a distance on the same documents at the same time.

Cons

One must wonder if Google really needs to have any more of your information. What is the intent of them offering this product? Are they just using it as a means to accumulate more of your info?

Great collaboration platform, especially for the price (or lack thereof!)

Pros

Video conferencing with someone is as simple as entering their email address. This is a great option when conferencing with clients and other industry professionals that are not on the same conferencing platform.

Cons

Video quality felt like it could be improved, and if you run into an issue it is typically faster to post on message boards to find help than it is to contact Google's support team.

Pros

What I like most about Google Meet is that this platform is one of the best to be able to make video calls and conferences, in this way it provides the users with an integral quality in each video transmission, it is something really fantastic.

Cons

What I do not like about Google Meet is the long time it takes to establish a video call connection, it is true that being on the call, everything changes, and it becomes somewhat faster, but has many erorres when connecting in video call with another person

Value for Money

Pros

Google Meet has the best video quality that can be in the video call market, and also, it offers stability in every group call that is made, generating trust in the customers, since the interferences here do not exist, everything is done in a way fluid and without errors.

Cons

I would like Google Meet to incorporate a chat, so that people can communicate through other means, this would generate a better confidence among the users who are in the call and will give them the opportunity to ask anything.

Cons

I have only one "con", and that is this. If there's a problem in the subscription being paid on time it seems to me that Google blocks G Suite summarily and without warning. Now, whilst it's always possible to fire the thing up again, it takes a bit of time and it's a tedious procedure.

Frankly, I cannot think of another vendor in this league when it comes to a cloud-based foundation for business operations. Well done, Google.

Pros

The top pro is simply the way it connects - truly amazing.

Google Docs and Drive are a miracle in itself for collaboration and productivity within the workplace. The integration with Gmail, Google Calendar bookings and handoffs are seamless.

3 companies I have worked for have utilized G Suite. Google Hangouts for meetings are incredible. Conference calls, presentations, you name it; Google does it. There is also extensive hardware for meeting rooms available for even more convenience.

Good design is achieved when you hardly notice it's there and G Suite achieves this with flying colors. It's like you don't even notice it's there but I can't imagine myself without it. A true foundation of our business.

Since it's backed by Google, downtime or technical glitches are practically non-existent.

Cons

I wish they would keep legacy user interfaces around rather than forcing on new ones. The new user interface, while not terrible, seems more busy and clunky compared to the plain Classic interface.

Other than that, no complaints at all.

Gsuite makes me more productive than I would be,if I was not using it.I use Hangout for video conferencing with my team members, Google docs for creating and editing word documents , Google sheets for working on spreadsheet tasks etc

Pros

Gsuite provides me with the right set of applications which makes me more productive at work.I find gmail easy to use and reliable, infact I have used Gmail for the last six year period.I love Google Calendar and how it reminds me of things that I need to do.
I like how I am able to share my Calendar with my colleagues at work ,when we need to schedule virtual meetings. Most vital is the fact that Gsuite has a mobile app. which I use on the go from my ipad and my Android smartphone.

Cons

I recommend Gsuite for teams and organization.Even though I think that a lot of small teams on a string budget will find it very difficult to afford Gsuite.

Cons

The only defect that has to my understanding is the cost per user. I used it from the beginning when it was free up to 10 users per domain. Now it is charged monthly per user which means that for an organization of several employees the cost is a little high.

Overall, G Suite is a great option to save a little money, but unless you have time to fully understand the process, Office offers an easier experience.

Pros

G Suite has a number of features and functionalities that "can" make it superior to other options, such as Office 365. However, using all that G Suite has available, can be very difficult to undertake. The easy integration with my email is wonderful. The apps that I have began to utilize are great.

Cons

No one uses Google Docs or Google Sheets in the professional world. Everyone is tied to Microsoft products. This makes sharing/editing documents a little more difficult. It can be done, but it's not perfect.

Pros

The best thing about Gsuite is the ability to use their Vault. The vault will allow you to easily retrieve email and Drive objects that may have been deleted by a rouge employee, to easily facilitate public information requests, or to put records lock in place during legal proceedings. GSuite is also very easy to use and is all web based so there is no client to install on end user machines to manage.

Cons

Some users do not like the web interface. The Office-like suite isn't as fully featured as Microsoft, but it does the job for 90% of my users.
