Since we first started, we have added new forms and divisions and implementing the app to the daily routine of our guys has been easier than ever. - We now have a standardized process, keep records organized automatically, and give customers clean proof of attendance without extra steps. ### Most mentioned cons - Need to learn and trained before able to create a new form automation since the tools can get confusing and need technical knowledge to operate. - We sometimes have issues with the app automatically uploading form submissions. - Sometimes loading media and attachments can take a little longer than expected, especially if the files are a little large. It's a blank canvas, you can create any type of form you require. With a little bit of technical knowledge it can be made extremely powerful. I appreciate the fact that it isn't aimed at consumers, as other form builder tools are, so it goes straight to the powerful functions needed in a business environment. #### Cons The built in data dashboards and analytics are adequate but not amazing. The custom word and excel templates are amazing and allow simple form entry while still exporting to PDF's on the exact same paper forms that we are using. This is super helpful for forms that need to be submitted on a specific standard form that a client or anybody else requires while still making form entry super simple for our employees. There isn't a single form or paper process we have came across that we haven't been able to digitalize with Appenate. The number of forms is also unlimited so not having a cap or getting charged to create more forms is huge. Can automate filing documents/forms via connectors as well as organizing them in any way you see fit (by date or month submitted, manufacturer, person that submitted, etc.) Eliminates and automates to some extent paper processes. Able to build databases/lists off of any form, can export to excel, sheets, etc. or have a sheet that is constantly updating in real time every time there is a new entry. The options and customization is endless. Cost is super competitive and some of the best pricing I've seen. No form limits. Straight forward drag and drop #### Cons Only cons would be the learning curve on building forms and using connectors, but any form building software will have the same con. It is just part of learning the tool. The new AI tool allows natural language to build forms by just telling it what you want now too, which makes the learning curve about as low as it could be. The support team is also amazing so any issues or problems you run into when building forms, or if you are just not sure how to build something out can be solved by sending an email or booking a call with support. Super quick response time and anything that I've ran into problems or wasn't sure how to build, was promptly solved by customer support. Not only will they get on and solve the issue but they will actually show you how they did what they did which allows you to learn so much faster, and the learning curve far easier. This program offered so many features which made it stick out from others. This was the only program that was this easy to customize and had all the features we were looking for. We offer a unique and broad amount of services so finding something universal was very important. When I have trouble I can message a customer service rep and they are quick to answer my question and find a solution. Sometimes, they even do the action for me and teach me how to do it on other documents. Our paperwork/app is constantly live as we are a 24/7 restoration company so being able to reach out and get a response so quick is super helpful to resolve any issues and keep our divisions running efficiently. Our techs use this app even during their emergencies in the middle of the night and the property receives the email and is aware of whats going on immediately. The fact that this program will email paperwork and photos keeps our customers informed at all times is amazing and has been so useful for any issues we run into. Our technicians were able to ease into the app seamlessly. They were able to complete paperwork efficiently and they would make me aware of changes that needed to be made and I could go onto the browser and change it immediately for them to submit paperwork. We are a small company that was still using physical sheets of paperwork out in the field and it was a very smooth transition switching over to this. Within weeks, we were able to covert all of our divisions over to the app. It helped us resolve our main customer complaints about paperwork and photo. Overall, this program has elevated our business and level of our customer service. Our company has been using this program for over 3 years now with over 10 divisions that each require several forms. This has made it so easy to communicate with customers along with acquiring all of the information we need for billing purposes. These forms have also been great with court cases and getting invoices paid because we are able to see approvals and signatures from our customers. We use the software on a regular basis and are able to instantly update the survey forms with engineer feedback for re-use within minutes. I have been using Forms on Fire for almost 7 years in my job at an international engineering firm and cannot speak highly enough of this product! I have designed forms from basic single-page fill-in-the-blank type forms to incredibly complicated multi-page forms using pre-populated repeating tables, subforms, and even approval steps. I am not a coder but have been able to design forms that do everything my clients have asked, including making stepwise decision-making fields. Some of our field techs have been resistant to using digital forms but most of them report back that they love how easy-to-use the forms are and they don’t ever want to go back to paper. The project managers are equally enthusiastic about the data they receive since they no longer have to decipher handwriting or deal with entries that do not conform to their requirements. My company’s firewall does not allow direct posting to SQL so we had to use the API and go through the Sync connector. Forms on Fire support was very helpful through this process, working with our IT department to get everything set up correctly. In fact, the support team has always been wonderful, responding quickly with suggestions or work-arounds whenever I have gotten stuck on a complicated solution. We found Forms On Fire not only is best in logically relating/linking data sources to forms, but it is a developer platform that considers versioning and testing. Though I only have 7 days to build this app, (the last app was built in ZOHO Creator and after working on it for over a week found the data sub form to form relation constraints difficult to work around.)
