It is streamlined and very simple to use. Ratings Breakdown 5 Ease of use 5 Value for money 1 Customer support 1 Functionality Pros: The simple, beautiful design. It was VERY easy to see what has happened on a policy, as well as the documentation to support it. There is minimal setup, and it is easy to use right out of the metaphorical box. Cons: The company was NOT open to suggestion, even things as simple as a TYPO on their policy overview. It wasn't fixed in the 2 years we had EzLynx. The renewal process is AWFUL and there was a HUGE E&O hole that they would not address. Basically, policies were reverting to the pre-renewal info, and just not processing the renewal changes. On commercial auto policies, where vehicles and drivers change all the time, the policy summary was showing things that were not covered, or not showing things that were covered. Policies were never accurate in EZ due to this. We brought it up to them multiple times, and they had no fix for us. Reasons for switching to EZLynx TAM was OLD and awful to use. What used to take 30-45 minutes per prospect now takes less than 10. EXLynx allows us to simultaneously quote 10+ carrier markets for both home and auto with a single data entry. No more logging into separate carrier portals, re-entering the same information over and over, or playing the waiting game. The platform's real-time rating engine pulls quotes from our entire carrier portfolio, Progressive, Grange, Encova, NatGen, Safeco and others all at once. This means I can get back to prospects while they're still hot, not three days later when they've already moved on to the next agent. When I tried to downgrade, I discovered that Ezlynx wouldn’t allow it due to the terms of our contract, leaving me stuck with an unsatisfactory solution. This ultimately pushed me to switch to AgencyZoom, which better met my agency’s requirements and helped streamline our operations. It’s better to call tech support with EZLynx than sending in a ticket through their automated reporting. This is a great tool that we are able to use to highly improve efficiency. I am able to put most rating information in the rater once and get quotes back from many companies. There are rarely any issues. We are able to set both agency and personal preferences and create templates to make the work faster. Cons: Tech support tickets are not as fast as I’d like to see. I’d also like to be able to rate other lines of mono-line business such as rental dwellings or snowmobiles. I would like to not have their marketing for their database system in my face all the time when I log in. I would like an opt-out option.
