Pros/Cons
Pros
- There is not a lot of limitations, which makes it a great fit for my company. Also enjoy the ability to use social tools inside the program.
- Good pricing and nice that they now have a mobile version that works well - many other intranet software platforms do not have mobile capabilities.
- Multiple phone equipment options (purchased separately with Jive) for multiple office locations. Desktop equipment is excellent with perfect connectivity and sound quality.
Cons
- People in my organization frequently complain that it's hard to find what they are looking for.
- Documents uploaded show a "preview" which in many cases display the wrong fonts and mess up the design.
- Search wasn't useful, hard to find info in it. Interface is a little confusing and could be frustrating.
Pros
- The IM system is generally easy to manage and has some fun aspects. Seems to have a ton of good features, I am still working on effectively using them all.
- My experience with MangoApps has been excellent. I have enjoyed connecting through this software to the platforms that I need to communicate with professionals all over the world.
- Everyday I find new thing I like about MangoApps, the notifications aren't in your face (which I really like). The document search works really well and file sharing is super easy too.
Cons
- I have issues with the tasking app, and have trouble easily completing and deleting tasks. It seems difficult to use.
- Sometimes, the interface seems clunky. Groups/Projects are a little confusing and overlap.
- You can have a history of chat and then suddenly it will all disappear never to return. I am talking about the small pop up boxes and not from internet explorer itself.
