Pros/Cons
Pros
- Including the email functionality for the help desk portion will be amazing and bring more customers to Asset Panda.
- I like the ease of use and modular design of this product. It seems like a quality solution for inventory and asset management at a much lower cost than other solutions we reviewed.
- Asset Panda is very useful for tracking asset movement and changes along with depreciation tracking. I would like to see some procurement integration.
Cons
- The lack of offline usability. We have some areas that do not have cell/wi-fi signal and it would be beneficial to add an offline component that can sync later when a connection is made.
- It can be difficult to use system functions. You have to pull field records to correct a mistake you made.
- User experience was terrible. We spent two months getting it set up and then abandoned it as it would require hiring a dedicated person to maintain the system.
Pros
- I love this software because it is easy to use and really great for tracking. I love that it has a pipeline feature and it is very user friendly.
- We really like the checklist feature and the ability to copy and modify them easily. The ability to see everyone's checklist task through the calendar tab is crucial and much appreciated.
- I love the ease of setting up my checkpoints customized to how I run my files. I love the record keeping as well.
Cons
- Inability to drag and drop files across different functions the entire program, onboarding portal has no drag and drop feature.
- If you call a one sided platform, complete, then you have never used their competition. Contact to hold you hostage when they cannot deliver a fully functional program is completely ridiculous.
- Primarily, I experienced a very frustrating learning curve.
