One common weakness in implementing a planning system is that they always seem to cost more than the initial estimates and there is not enough money left at the end for the quantity and quality of training recommended by the providers. The result is that the users of the system never fully understand their system and all the things that it is capable of. MMP has given us a industry leading CMMS system

The whole process of integrating MMP into our organisation was carried out efficiently and without issue. The introduction of a new CMMS system into any organisation is a massive undertaking and if not managed correctly can fail easily. 53 North worked in partnership with us to ensure this undertaking went extremely smoothly. We have been running elements of MMP for just over a year and we still have unwavering support from 53 North whenever we want to make adjustments to how our system operates. It really is a partnership between us as the end user and 53 North as the system supplier which has yielded really positive improvements in every facet of our engineering department as well as the organisation as a whole. .

PROS

MMP runs seamlessly on our computer systems . It is easy to use and very user friendly. There have been no issues with rolling it out for use with our engineering team. In very little time they were all using it and this is testament to how user friendly the MMP package is.

CONS

There is nothing we do not like. Any improvements or adjustments we have requested have been acted on in a timely manner to deliver us a system that is operating exactly how we need.

Reason for choosing MMP

Our head of engineering had worked with 53 North at another site on a similar project and was impressed with what they had delivered. We wanted a system that we could have input into to ensure it would be a good fit for our production demands. Other systems are designed for a generic production pattern and are difficult to get adjusted to specific production patterns. With MMP we have this flexibility.

I think the whole experience has been excellent and the service from the team behind it has made it so simple.

PROS

I liked the ease it was to use as it did not take long to get the hang of it which also made it easier for some of the older engineers that work with us.

CONS

We tend to loose some of the excel sheet when we print out the work orders as PDF's.

Excellent & Easy System

Really positive - the team at 53 North have been open to developing the system with us.

PROS

MMP was a great tool to help with setting up the Facility at Rudie's. The development of the system was in an early adopter stage which fit our growth path really well, meaning we could adopt it at the start and develop the system together

CONS

There were a number of nuisances, regarding the Filtering and sorting of the backlog which has now been resolved in the recent update

Reason for choosing MMP

The system wasn't intuitive or as easy to use as MMP.
