Pros/Cons
Pros
- It's perfectly suited to medium and small size companies involved in electronics. It's super easy to use and help you keeping organized.
- Frequently being updated to add new (and useful) features. We are a small electronics manufacturing company--PartsBox is perfect for us.
- Overall it's very good and I'd highly recommend it to anyone.
Cons
- The most disconcerting feature is that the user has no direct access to the database. No way to mass load the data yourself.
- Subscription based licensing is a disappointing part of it.
- We were having problems ensuring we had adequate quantities of parts for projects -- and often wasting money buying parts that we already had stored in a box somewhere.
Pros
- I add products and I also create coupons for these products according to client requirements. My overall experience with this is really awesome, I am really happy and satisfied with WooCommerce.
- The fact that you can quickly install and create a complete e-commerce website without knowing any bit of coding is just so amazing. And best of all, it's free.
- I love Wordpress over all other website options so naturally I use Woocommerce most of all. I love that it's open source and free to get started, how easy it is to customize.
Cons
- The order management is very complicated. Can be difficult for the ones who have less or no experience in the web development field.
- Can be very confusing with all the thousand plugins you must use to keep it running. It updates to a new version to much.
- Upgrades often happen and when a non developer encounters conflict from upgrades they need a developer to fix it, it would be better if clients or non-developer can fix any upgrade conflicts.
