Great for Large Scale Warehouse Management

EWM has been great for the foundational needs of a warehouse management system, but has also allowed for us to link multiple processes and software together in order to use the data produced in new and better ways. EWM has also streamlined processes and although there are some integration challenges, the overall experience is positive.

PROS

Though it can be difficult for new users, EWM is expansive in the amount of capabilities and use cases that our company has used it for. EWM has allowed us to streamline our warehouse process and track product at each stage, allows managers the ability to know when and where the bottlenecks are in production, and allows for more efficient tracking and movement of employees.

CONS

The learning curve for EWM can be quite steep and many users are experts in one area of the software and have a hard time using the full capabilities. Also, we have had some updating issues that have taken some time in order to fix and that has caused some gaps in our data, though SAP was helpful in fixing the issues.
