Xentral is the core of our daily business

Our experience with Xentral is very positive. It makes our daily job easier as we have all shops, marketplaces and carriers conencted. Everyone in our company is using the software on a daily basis for most planning and regular tasks.

Pros:

We like the broad connections to marketplaces, shops and carriers that Xentral offers. All our shops and marketplaces are connected so we do not have to manually create orders, invoices, labels and more. The process is more or less self-explanatory with a lot of options for customization.

Cons:

The return system is not very polished. Especially if goods are returned damaged or broken, we have to rely on workarounds so that the goods are separated from the good ones. Also, the accounting is quite complicated and could use a better guide so that the setup is easier.

Reasons for choosing Xentral Software

The connections to carriers and shops. Also the chance to install the product locally and access everything through the browser.

Reasons for switching to Xentral Software

We outgrew our old software and the features that we needed were not provided by the old product.

\- Schneller Support - Zahlreiche APIs und Integrationsmöglichkeiten (mit Shops, PIM Systeme, usw.) - Gutes Onboarding - Online Academy ist komplett!

Cons:

Manchmal ist das System etwas langsam, und alle manuellen Arbeiten hängen davon ab. Für den Bestelllauf wünschen wir uns dynamischere Optionen, da wir viele dynamische Preisquellen haben, die wir bisher nicht synchronisieren konnten.

Die Zahl der Transaktionen wuchs, und wir benötigten eine Lager-Bestandskontrolle und die Integration mit anderen Systemen.

Solltest du feststellen, dass dein System an einer Stelle wiederholt langsamer läuft, nimm gerne direkten Kontakt zum Support auf, damit wir prüfen können, ob im Hintergrund vielleicht ein Workflow ins Leere läuft oder die Grenzen eurer aktuellen Instanzen ausreißt und man hier vielleicht noch etwas besser strukturieren kann. Teilweise wirken Menüs etwas verschachtelt, und kleinere Bugs oder fehlende Automatismen stören gelegentlich.

Der Umzug war einfach und es gab vorgegebene Optionen, was die Anfälligkeit und den IT-Aufwand extrem verringert hat.

Cons:

Die API kann noch weiter standardisiert werden. Außerdem ist die Software für kleinere Unternehmen mit viel Umsatz nicht preiswert :-)

Individuelle Berichte können sehr leicht mit dem Berichtemodul mit integrierter KI erstellt werden. Mit dem Berichtemodul ist quasi alles möglich. Datenübermittlung an Kunden, Logistiker, etc. auf vielen Wegen möglich und sehr individuell anpassbar.

Cons:

Starker Fokus auf D2C/B2C und weniger auf B2B. Für B2B auch gut nutzbar, jedoch teilweise mit einigen Workarounds.

Xentral ist eine gute Alternative für kleinere Unternehmen, die alle betrieblichen Prozesse möglichst zentral verwalten wollen. Die Community um Xentral ist ebenfalls sehr hilfsbereit. Wo wir bisher sehr schlechte Erfahrungen machen mussten, ist der zu langwierige Kundenservice und die nicht ganz optimale Lagerverwaltung.

Das Sie eine cloudbasierte Lösung ist und daher von überall aus und von jedem Rechner / Smartphone oder Tablet mit Internetzugang genutzt werden kann

Cons:

Das viele Logistikprozesse entweder zu wenig Funktionen bieten oder zu viele einzelne Schritte benötigen um nur eine Aufgabe zu erledigen. Wie zum Beispiel Lagerbestandsoptimierung, Artikelverwaltung, Retouren Bearbeitung.
