### Most mentioned pros

- Its a reliable inventory management solution that helps keep track of stock levels, orders, and shipments efficiently.
- I liked that it’s relatively easy to learn and doesn’t require a lot of technical knowledge to get started. While it may not have every advanced feature that larger businesses need, it does a great job for small to mid-sized companies looking for an affordable inventory management system
- It has simplified my work at Leader Sat Africa by automating the update of inventory, consequently saving me hours of trying to reconcile manually on a monthly basis.

### Most mentioned cons

- Zoho Inventory has monthly order limits, and it's not an easy process to integrate accounting software other than Zoho Books.
- I think the reporting features are a little limited needing to customize reports for different needs requires a little more effort than I’d like.
- What made my eyes a bit blush is its interface, which can display information not necessary and are overwhelming.

I can say that Zoho Inventory has helped reduce inventory management errors and have a clearer view of how sales are performing. As for recommendations, I recommend Zoho Inventory to anyone who needs to manage their inventory efficiently and quickly. It is a useful and easy-to-use tool that saves time and increases productivity. In summary, I am delighted with my experience using Zoho Inventory. It is a valuable tool that has helped me manage my inventory quickly and efficiently.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I can highlight that Zoho Inventory allows me to manage inventory efficiently and quickly, saving time and increasing my productivity. I also like that Zoho Inventory offers various reports and statistics that help me make better decisions and better understand how my business is performing. Zoho Inventory can help you achieve this goal by streamlining your sales and inventory management processes and ensuring that your customer data is always up-to-date and accurate.

#### Cons

I believe integration with other company programs could be improved, although this has not been a big issue for me so far. Also, although it doesn't affect performance too much, I would like to see more customization of some platform aspects.

#### Reasons for switching to Zoho Inventory

Compared to the competitor's software, I think Zoho Inventory is an excellent choice because it is easier to use and offers a more intuitive interface. It also provides a variety of reports and statistics not available from competitors. For these reasons, I would choose Zoho Inventory over any other similar platform.

### Good and inexpensive alternative for inventory management

#### Pros

Zoho made it easy to switch from a different system. Setup was not the smoothest but I can't say it was too painful. It does the job and for the price I think it's a good option.

#### Cons

I would like a few things added to Zoho going forward. - Being able to see COGS for various inventory adjustments and sales. Currently, we have to integrate with Zoho Books to see those but it would be great to have that option built in. - Average historical cost per product for all products. Currently, we can only see the average cost of products in stock only.

#### Reasons for switching to Zoho Inventory

Cin7 became extremely expensive for us and I was looking for a better option

Although it's early the client has a much better grasp of their unique inventory management challenges and have been quickly adapting to a much more comprehensive solution that is ultimately easier to use

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Our client, a trucking parts supplier, needed a warehouse/ inventory management system that would integrate with their new Shopify sales channel. The seamless integration and robust features of the software are what fit the bill for this particular business situation perfectly.

#### Cons

For the Canadian market the accounting module of Zoho has some minor shortcomings when compared with more popular accounting solutions in the region.

#### Reasons for choosing Zoho Inventory

The main factors were the excellent integration with Shopify, as well as the attractive pricing

#### Reasons for switching to Zoho Inventory

The accounting that the company had been using was not sufficient to manage their complex supply chain and multiple selling channels. Staying with the existing software would require a custom integration solution that would have been financially prohibitive for the company at this time. Zoho came with the features and integrations that were required for a small fraction of the comparative costs.

Fulfillment and purchase planning were managed from a unified view, backorders were addressed consistently, and shipment notifications were communicated to customers sooner, which reduced follow-ups and allowed production to stay in step without needing to perform a scramble for labels or stock.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Order processes link quotes, sales, packaging, and shipping together in one location, with security roles and audit logs, while marketplace and cart integrations cut down on manual entry, and reporting identifies trends to inform reordering points and avoid stockouts during peak periods.

#### Cons

Ramp time is correct for simulating bundles, warehouses, and products, and cron sync or template quirks hinder teams when marketplace listing optimization and custom shipping document optimization are done in hectic cycles.

It’s helped us better manage stock flow between our warehouse and production, cutting down on delays and allowing us to identify supply problems ahead of time.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5

#### Pros

With Zoho Inventory, we have visibility into the life of our stocks, movement, and all the purchase orders at one place. I like that it integrates with sales and shipping, so we’re not shuffling data around between systems when tracking steel batches or re-ordering goods.

#### Cons

It was a bit of a hassle to set up in the beginning, especially when it came to making the fields work for us and what type of product we were selling. And the reporting could have stood to be a bit more accommodating for operational deep dives.

Has been exceptional. Customer service is great, and helpful.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

If you have ever used Mass 500 or similar systems, this will be a breeze to use. I do find that for my use the customization is a bit difficult, but for the most part, its able to do everything I need to run business day to day. Has multi user control, has new history tracking, last purchase price, inventory inquiry, and even has support for business in SQFT, LFT. I am happy that i got to find this before i went other routes. The cost was also much lower than any other system I had tested.

#### Cons

Being a web based CRM, the customization is a bit less than I would have liked. Especially how the documents look, or ease of finding profit margin by the invoice, or item level, but i hope someone at ZOHO is looking into this.

#### Reasons for choosing Zoho Inventory

Price, and customer service.

### Shopify users, beware of Zoho!

Impossible to contact the dev team, even by email, which would have saved me two years of lost development time on my end. There is not even an effective communication channel between Customer Support and their own development team. It's one of those "I.T. doesn't talk to inferior beings" outfits. You know the type. Low integrity: If you make a mistake and misguide a paying customer, accept responsibility and issue a refund. It's the very least they could have done.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 1/5
- Value for money: 1/5
- Functionality: 1/5

#### Pros

On paper, Zoho had all the flexibility and scalability we were looking for, but it turns out that it is incompatible with a Shopify store that has more than a few months of data. It won't import the data. This is not a misunderstanding and there is no workaround. Details below.

#### Cons

We bought it to be our CRM and Inventory Management System for our Shopify office furniture store. On installation, it would only import the last two months of transactions from Shopify. That's a disaster. For all of our regular customers, they'd have two accounts and we'd have to look in both places to find a past order, not to mention re-creating all of their account data by hand in the new system if they hadn't purchased in the last two months, and we'd have no idea what their lifetime value was. Zoho support was sure I had done something wrong. It took weeks for them to decide that Shopify was the problem. They told me Shopify was blocking the export of the data. So I called Shopify. They told me (in an hour) that they have an automatic block to prevent hacking but all Zoho had to do was to call them and they'd unblock them! Over a period of weeks, I tried to get to the right department to tell the install team or dev team about this, and no one seemed to know what I was talking about. They kept insisting it was a Shopify problem. A support rep got back to me a few months later and said the limitation had actually been built into Zoho and it would be fixed in the next version update. So, foolishly, I kept paying. I kept checking in and finally, two years later, they told they have no plans to fix this problem, and no, I couldn't have a refund even though I was waiting for them to fix what they told me they would fix, and had never used the product.

#### Reasons for choosing Zoho Inventory

Low entry price and scalability, with robust feature set, but never used it because it just can't work with an existing Shopify store that has more than a few months of history to import.

Very happy with Zoho, one of the best things about it is that it can seamlessly integrate other modules as well such as Zoho Books, and Zoho Analytics, which all help to make Zoho inventory more useful.

#### Ratings breakdown

Zoho allows for a lot of customisation as to what data you can store for orders and products. It has amazing flexibility with custom fields, that allows us to achieve exactly what we want. Also, it has a lot built in automation tools, which are extremely helpful. All of that for a price, that is reasonable and cheap compared to alternatives.

#### Cons

Because Zoho is such an extensive suite of tools, it is a little overwhelming to set up in the start. That being said, once its up and running it is really good.

#### Reasons for choosing Zoho Inventory

No other service offers such a good price for the same amount of functionality.

Though I am still exploring ZOHO Inventory but the best part was ease of use and instant impact on inventory management.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

1- Its best for the Trading business. 2- The best thing is the ease of use. you don't have to be an accountant or a professional inventory manager to understand this software. 3- It is real-time. You don't have to wait for a department or server to process the command so that the information gets reflected. 4- Any prior period adjustment of cost or quantity, automatically adjust the costing and all the other accounts. 5- The best feature of Zoho is availability of customer service 24/7 6- For bulk data, you don't have to key in one by one. You just have to arrange the whole data in a specific format and upload it. 7- Composite items is the Bill of Material, which is gives you the option of calculating variances. 8- If you want to add an extra material, other than what is defined in the standard formula, you can do that. 9- The warehouse option helps you to keep track of inventory in each warehouse. While invoicing your customer, you can select the specific warehouse. 10- It is very well integrated with the ZOHO Books. 11- The Taxes can also be handled easily through Inventory module

#### Cons

1- For large organizations where multiple levels of warehouses exist and they require different approvals before issuance and receiving of materials or products, ZOHO inventory doesn't seems to provide that functionality. 2- You cannot print delivery notes on ZOHO Inventory, for that you have to go to ZOHO Books. 3- If you want to receive a product on multiple purchase orders together, you cannot. You have to receive the product of one purchase order at a time. 4- You can specify a purchase or sales price of a product but you cannot specify that as per the supplier of customer.

I don't think there is anything about Zoho Inventory that I don't like. I still use their products today.
