Case Closed the ultimate Law Enforcement Software

Overall experience is a 10+. CC has help my agency with time management to reduce the amount of time preparing a case file for prosecution. In addition, the customer service is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend this software!

PROS

CC is a valuable tool to link persons, vehicles, and evidence from case to case. To be able to search these things and to see how or if they are linked together is a great tool. It helps solve crimes and saves investigation times.

CONS

There were a few features that were difficult for a supervisor to approve reports but talking with CC team, they took action to help simplify the process.

Reasons for switching to Case Closed

CC builds a case file and stores it all in one place without multiple folders.

Out of the box case management

I am very pleased with Case Closed. This CMS meets our needs for global case tracking, assignment, collaboration and support.

PROS

We needed a solution that was multilingual and intuitive cross-culturally. Case Closed was a perfect fit.

CONS

Some fields required customization to fit our needs, but that was expected and customer service was very easy to work with.

Reasons for switching to Case Closed

Salesforce was overly complicated for our needs and very expensive.

Much better than our previous case management software.

We can quickly organize our cases, collaborate with our partners, and stay much more organized than ever before.

PROS

It's the only software we found that is loaded with features and cloud-based so we were up and running in a few days.

CONS

There are frequent updates as new features are added. At least the updates are done at night but can be annoying.

Case Closed works for Cold West

We were having trouble with detectives in different locations working on the same case and keeping out file straight and it became nearly impossible for detectives to keep the files up to date. Case closed fixed that for us and our cases are now seamless.

PROS

It keeps our cases manageable. We have detectives in other states and they are able access the files and add information to share with our in the task force. Case Closed has changed the way we operate daily with out case load. We love this software, Thank you!

CONS

We have not run across a feature that we think needs improvement and we are 2 years in. But we will keep looking.

Outstanding Customer Service and Afforable

Case Closed has significant helped us in tracking/connecting targets in our dogfighting investigations. It keeps the data centralized in one location and allows specific search requests even is the spelling is off. You can't go wrong for the value and the customer service.

PROS

I cannot say enough good things about the incredible customer service by Case Closed. They are responsive to problems or concerns and do their best to modify the program for our customary needs. As a nonprofit, we could not spend tens of thousands of dollars on a program but needed the capability to track, monitor, and collect intelligence on targets. Case Closed has made it possible. We investigate dogfighting internationally and Case Closed created new fields and added each country into the drop down boxes for accurate reporting.

CONS

Still learning the system so no complaints thus far. Since this is primarily used by law enforcement, there are some fields that are not applicable for us. It would be nice to have those fields removed but not a "con" per say.

Reason for choosing Case Closed

Initially it was the cost steered me in the direction of Case Closed but after working with them I was impressed with their desire to customize the database for our needs.

CaseClosed Software Review

PROS

Going from paper and filing cabinets, CaseClosed has allowed us to fully digitize our case files; giving us ease of use and collaboration on cases. Being able to simply send the case file to a Prosecutor has cut down processing and intake times immensely.

CONS

With all software products, there are bound to be "bugs". However, Crime Tech Solutions has been there to fix any issue we have ran into thus far.
