Pros/Cons
Pros
- I am very happy with this program and will continue to recommend it to all of my friends.
- I love how easy it is to export financial data into excel to further analyze. I also like the built in graphics and reports mint gives to help me get a quick understanding over my financials.
- I love that I have had one piece of software that I have used for more than 10 years. I also appreciate that updates make it better each year.
Cons
- And sometimes my linked bank account will be unlinked. I haven't figured out what caused this problem.
- Sometimes the app still can’t differentiate different transaction and made mistake, which messes up the budget cap for each categories.
- Also, you have to share all your passwords with Mint, which some people will be uncomfortable with.
Pros
- I have been amazed by Plaid's powerful and dependable financial data connection capabilities.
- I love how robust their integrations are across many different payment/banking platforms.
- I'm very satisfied with their services, they are fast, invovative and reliable by all means.
Cons
- ALOT of the time it does not recognize my bank n that kinda sucks.
- As a foreign user, I discovered that Plaid did not support all of the institutions I work with, which constrained the extent of data integration.
- It can have some issues authenticating banks with two-factor authentication enabled. Canadian integration is lagging behind the American one.
