### Overview of Pega Platform

- Overall rating: 5/5

It is a low-code platform to build and deploy the application into the cloud using AWS cloud.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I like the Pega Platform because it is easy to develop an application with minimum knowledge of coding. Pega provides different frameworks in which we can select the framework based on our requirements. Pega provides OOTB features which makes our work easy and simple. By having basic knowledge of case management we can easily develop an application that can be converted into Android and IOS applications. The debugging tools provided by Pega help me to track and debug the issues using tools like Clipboard, Tracer, PAL, etc.

#### Cons

For most of the issues, we find solutions in the Pega Community but for some issues, there are no solutions and the incident tickets are closed. As Pega releases new updated versions the old applications built on lower versions need to be upgraded then some issues are introduced as some rules are deprecated.

I'd say my overall experience with Pega Platform is positive. Its a good tool that definitely has space to improve, but it gets the jobs done. I find it a bit bulky and slow at times which I hope they can improve on.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Pega Platform is pretty good for workflow automation and case management. its easy to implement business rules and the code management is well structured with rule sets and versioning. it also has good monitoring capabilities

#### Cons

There can be a large learning curve and although is "low code" it isn't easy to build complicated applications without coding knowledge or experience. Its also quite a heavy task to initially set-up and troubleshooting I personally found is a bit challenging.

#### Ratings breakdown

The best part about Pega is its customizations and ease of integrations. There are endless number of customizations that Pega offers for your business workflows and processes. Integration is also pretty user-friendly and intuitive and we have been able to achieve all of this with very less code.

The documentation can be improved for developers who are new to the platform since it is very overwhelming in the beginning. Academy courses can also be more detailed and contextual.

Reduced development time, streamlined testing

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

This is a platform designed to move from properly captured business processes to functional software solutions. The inclusion of mobile services makes it easy to prototype working solutions and produce functional systems with less overall development time. Their depth and breadth of supported processes makes developing systems more likely and less reliant on needing to go "outside the box" to produce fully functional systems

#### Cons

Like every platform of this type, not every process required in every situation is covered. When that occurs, there needs to be a way to "color outside the lines" to produce fully functional solutions. The ability to do that exists here, but as is the case with most platforms of this type it is not as intuitive as you would like it to be
