Pros/Cons
Pros
- I used it because of some good reviews from different source, claiming it has good scores in different lab tests. Tried and I can confirm it is good.
- I love that AVG is super easy to download and set up. It is always on the lookout for malware or viruses or just pages that are not secure.
- The free version is good and better compared to the paid one as there are only some upgrades between them.
Cons
- In less then 24hrs of install I had screens locking up, I had false alerts , constant pop up and it did not prevent any outside source from attempting to cause an damage.
- Honestly, AVG has never given me problems. My husband is a tech nerd and swears by Bitdefender but I have had multiple problems with functionality of their antivirus.
- It is little expensive which makes its usage limited. Also, sometimes some pop ups can be very irritating.
Pros
- It works seamlessly and simply does its job the way it should: without much intrusion, but very effectively. It has great user interface and user communication.
- First of all I like it because really keep your system and data safe and protected. Generally it is very nice organized and easy to use.
- Data it is the most important in today times - so the best protection of computer by best software like ESET is step to right direction.
Cons
- We have had a lot of issues with their cloud admin portal, either not working or being slow. Their reseller portal is also poor and could do with a re design.
- This was a slight problem that I didn’t expect. It also seems to run slow but it could be my configuration so I can’t be sure to blame the software yet.
- They have gotten worst especially the Mgmt Console Version 7.x.x.
