Pros/Cons
Pros
- We like CATA SDN is the most user friend and ease of managing the SDN network. The network in the Asia Pacific regions were stable and able to help us to manage remote office location easily.
- Looking to combine SDWAN with a high quality network security solution, that has easy to use secure remote access software. CATO is able to accomplish this.
- CATO VPN is really fast and reliable compared to its competitors out there. They have an awesome support team.
Cons
- It's hard for a beginner to find what they are looking for. The Bulk/Mass user update feature is still missing.
- Currently the feature that gives me the most grief is the re-authentication sequence for the VPN client.
- Especially the "Limit only when the line is congested" feature resulted ineffective in those cases.
Pros
- The depth of features is impressive. We use these at all of our locations with great success.
- Overall, I think these are great appliances. They function efficiently, have great features, and are easy to setup and maintain.
- I love WatchGuard because they are affordable by small business and scalable as they grow. Support is excellent and can be relied on.
Cons
- It has caused a few buggy situations and does log you out every day which can be a pain.
- Changing the firewall rules is sometimes confusing for the policy manager.
- I feel that some of there content filtering and blocking is lacking.
